Spacious Timber Frame Cabin

Welcome to the Tree House. Our home was designed and custom built in 2002 and has a large, wrap-around porch, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, and a large fireplace that is the focal point of the living space. The Timber Frame Construction with Red and White Oak interior walls gives the home both a rustic and cozy feeling, while still having the space and convenience of modern comforts and amenities. The home is decorated with antique farming tools and warm room colors throughout, giving it the feel of a true mountain get-away. If you want a cozy mountain feeling, this is the home for your vacation.

Our home is very close to all most major Poconos attractions!! 10 minutes to Jack Frost/Big Boulder, and 20 minutes to Camelback ski resort and water park. Also very close to several state parks, indoor water parks, white water rafting, shopping, and restaurants.
There are also many amenities located within the Towamensing Trails community including a private lake (with beach), swimming pool, clubhouse, tennis courts, playground, and more. Eight community passes are included with your rental (additional passes can not be purchased to keep down crowds in the common amenity areas).

This property is absolutely wonderful. Second time we have been here. Perhaps the favorite place we have stayed at. The lodge inside feels like a movie set. Deer come to your backyard daily that you can feed. Hot tub in the back is wonderful. The owners are responsive. Plenty of parking and places to sleep and room. Loved our stay and hope to be back.

Lots to do here!

Our family had a great time staying at the Tree House! Five bedrooms and 4 full baths allowed everyone to spread out and have their space. We loved the massive back deck and wrap around porch. We took advantage of the beach by the lake, the pool, and ample opportunities to hike. Any questions and Mary was on it with timely communication. Our family had a great time here!

Family ski trip

This was our second stay at this property. It is super cozy and comfortable as advertised. It feels like a mountain cabin should feel! There was plenty of space for our two families and the grandparents to have time together, but also have privacy as well. The host - Mary is about as responsive and kind as could be! Would highly recommend!

Ski Get Away

This property is exactly like the pictures show. Plenty of room for the whole family. Kitchen was well equipped. Game room was great for the kids and adults. We went up to enjoy a couple of days of skiing at Big Boulder and this property was in a perfect location. About a 10 minute drive. there was also various restaurants and stores in the area as well. We are already discussing booking it again!!

Awesome house! You will love it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this home! Everything was very clean and comfortable. The owners set everything up to be convenient and extremely welcoming. There were many extra amenities included that made our stay so easy. We were there with our kids and grandkids and everyone agreed it may be the best house we've ever rented for our family vacation. We had plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed the hot tub, and everyone loved watching the deer come to the feeder throughout the day. There was not one complaint. We can't wait to go back to this house again!

Spacious and well-stocked

We celebrated Thanksgiving here with 11 people ranging in age from 26 years old to 90 years old. The kitchen supplies were such that we were able to make all of the recipes with no additional pots, pans or utensils necessary. There were plenty of blankets and pillows to accommodate everyone’s sleeping needs. The game room and game closet were more than enough to keep all busy even when forced to stay inside because of inclement weather. The hot tub was an added treat but one of the highlights of our stay was the feeding trough on a small hill behind the back porch where we were able to feed the deer daily. I would highly recommend this property for your next visit to the Pocono area!

Wonderful visit!

This was our second time gathering for a sibling reunion here and it did not disappoint! Mary was gracious and incredibly easy to work with (we had to reschedule when a sibling got Covid). We will return again for sure!

Amazing Cabin Retreat

It's hard to summarize such a great experience.... this place is so clean and spacious, yet cozy. It is the loveliest home in the community. The three levels of sleeping accommodations/ bathrooms made it easy for each family and their little children to settle in and not disturb others' naptime & sleeping...with Pops & Grammie sleeping on the main level. Just bring your linens and food, and you are good to go! Hot tub was enjoyed every night. Delightfully large wrap around porch made the outdoors so enjoyable, and the ridiculously friendly deer were quite entertaining. Would most definitely recommend, and we hope to enjoy this amazing home again in the future! I can only imagine how wonderful this place must be in the winter!

Great location for a great vacation

We had a great vacation! The home we stayed in was perfect for all of us! The kids had the best time feeding the deer and watching them. We were in the hot tub one evening and saw a bear! Thank you for having us stay in your home!

Awesome Weekend

Great cabin getaway!

The house had a great mountain cabin feel (like you want when going to the poconos) - as well as being spacious and clean. The layout was great for our multi family group of 11. The game room in the basement was awesome for the kids! We had a great stay and hope to go back again next year!

Beautiful Cabin with Everything You Need

We loved this house. It was a beautiful cabin that was stocked with everything you need from games (including a pool table, fussball, and ping pong table), plenty of bedrooms to fit 10 people, everything you need to cook (besides fresh groceries of course). Also, to top it all off, there's a hot tub! Highly recommend!

Spectacular

Everything about this house is great! It has a better equipped kitchen than my own. Plenty of everything for a large group. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious. There's also a closet filled games plus the pool table, ping pong table, air hockey and foosball. The hot tub was also a plus!! Also deer that almost eat out your hands. We had a great time spending our Christmas Holiday in the house in the trees!
