The space
Private four bedroom home featuring a galley kitchen, formal dining area, seating area with piano and living room with 75" Smart HDTV. Fully appointed kitchen with appliances, including stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with crisp new linens, pillows and bed coverings. Master bedroom features walk-in closet and private ensuite bathroom. Spacious living room includes comfy sleeper sofa, Smart HDTV, laundry room, private backyard with patio, free high-speed Wi-Fi, onsite parking and key-less access.

Guest access
Guests have full access and complete privacy inside the home and may enjoy full use of outdoor amenities as well. Instructions for access, check-in, checkout and directions to the home are provided in the house manual on VRBO. When checking out, please be sure all windows and doors are locked prior to your departure.

Christmas Stay

Stayed here for Christmas. Close enough to family and had them over for dinner. Spacious, clean, and comfortable. A good time was had by all. :)

Wonderful home

Really enjoyed staying at this property. Was exactly as described Easily accessible . Large bedrooms We enjoyed being able to sit and play cards in the dining room. Backyard is large , however we did not utilize it we had 5 adult women in our group and everyone loved the place

beautiful stay

this was a perfect house. clean, beautiful & plenty of room for everyone (much bigger than pictures show). communication with the host was easy & response was almost immediate. it’s close to everything we needed. next time we are back in knoxville we will be booking again.

Stay for UT Knox Graduation

Stocked kitchen and large dining room made for great family gatherings. Very quiet neighborhood. Wonderful neighborhood walks. About 15 minute drive to campus. Thank you!

Family Christmas

This property was perfect for our family at Christmas. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds were comfy. Our only complaint was the pillows were hard, so if you like a soft pillow better bring your own. Otherwise it could not have been more perfect! Great value, too!

Great base to operate in Knoxville

This was a great place for my family (5 adults, 2 teens, a pre-schooler and an infant) to be based for activities in Knoxville. While the "public" spaces might be small for a large group who stayed in for a week, for a long weekend it was perfect and if you are out and about, it would work just fine. There is a good sized fenced in backyard for the kids to play and the kitchen was well stocked. Highly recommended if you need a place in west Knoxville.

Great house!

The house was so big! Our family enjoyed staying together yet we each had our own space. We liked being able to close the door to and from the family room for those who wanted to stay up watching TV. We couldn’t hear a thing! The neighborhood was very nice! Using the entrance code was very simple and we felt safe. Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Nostalgic

We had a wonderful time in the home and the piano and guitar brought back wonderful memories! Our kids really appreciated the antique nature of the home. Our only suggestion was the trimming back and cleaning up of the front and back lawn to be more safe and inviting, especially when entering the home at night.

In town for a wedding

The house was very clean and had plenty of space. Rented for 4 nights but due to a family situation got there a day late. Did not realize the code expired if not used in 24 hours. We had a difficult time trying to get in when we arrived. It was very dark and we only has the light from our phone. Finally decided to call the number in the rental agreement. She was amazing g and put us at ease. We were able to j lock the door with her help.

House is nice but we had an issue that took awhile to fix

Our crew stayed in the home for a little over a month, and everything went well. Then the dishwasher broke, and it took a couple of weeks for the repair (which happened right at check out). We were pretty disappointed in how long it took to get that situation resolved. The property management company always answered my messages in a timely manner even if to say they were "working on resolving this issue". Seems like it could have been handled more quickly than that.

A Great Property with a Difficult Host

Large, comfortable and well-appointed, the house is located in a quiet, west-Knoxville neighborhood convenient to I40 and shopping. With 4 bedrooms and spacious common areas, it can accommodate a large group. The house was clean and had all expected linens and basic supplies. With the exception of the TV (functional problems) and refrigerator (icemaker non-functional), all appliances operated as expected. Internet speed, at 200 Mb/s is exceptional. All living areas of the house are on the same level, making it convenient for those with mobility limitations. A ramp in the garage eases the small step-up from the driveway. The property is managed by Plushy Host, a property management service. Interaction with Plushy Host was the only significant negative of the rental. Vrbo renters should be aware that: - Plushy Host uses a different definition for “guest” than does Vrbo, with daytime visitors counted as guests. Vrbo counts only those actually sleeping on the property. - Plushy Host sends the access code instead of automatic delivery by Vrbo. They did not provide the codes “24 – 48 hours before the rental”, per their “House Manual”, necessitating multiple communications to assure the code would be available at arrival. - Plushy Host may not consider replacing burned-out light bulbs part of its property management. It was necessary to purchase and replace multiple bulbs to use the parlor the first night.
