The Eco-lodge Bocas Coral Reef welcomes you for a stay in paradise, with its 2 villas connected by a 100m long pontoon in the heart of nature. Entirely built with quality wood, the resort is totally independent with rainwater harvesting and solar panels.

Kaliste, the overwater villa, can accommodate up to 4 people with its 2 bedrooms equipped with a king size bed, fan, AC, HD TV, safety box and its own bathroom.

From a group of 5 people, the eco-lodge Bocas Coral reef offers the 1st floor of the sloth house with its 2 rooms joined by a large terrace of 100m2 that can accommodate up to 8 people. Each room is equipped with 2 king beds, bathroom, fans, AC, HD TV, safetybox and its own bathroom.

Kaliste is the ideal place to gather all together and enjoy the splendid sunrises and sunsets around the pool, the jacuzzi and the 200m2 terraces.
Luxury furniture carefully chosen for your comfort makes the beauty and charm of this villa. Inside you can watch the fishes from your sofa thanks to a glass window at your feet.
It contains all the high-tech equipment to satisfy you during your stay with HD TV, Bose sound bars and lights.

In the evening you can sip a cocktail in front of a sumptuous sunset.

And at night Bocas Coral Reef becomes a magical place with its dimmed lights reflected in the water and a fluorescent plankton show that illuminates the water under a starry sky!
For star lovers it is a paradise to look up and see all the planets.

Our stay at this over-the-water villa was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views — waking up each morning to the water right beneath us felt like a dream. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed. We truly could have stayed for weeks and been perfectly happy.A special thank you to Eric, our boat captain, who made getting around seamless and fun. He was reliable, knowledgeable, and added so much to our overall experience.The ladies who prepared our breakfast each morning and kept the house spotless were simply wonderful. Waking up to a delicious, freshly prepared breakfast and coming back to a perfectly cleaned villa every day made the stay feel luxurious yet effortless.One of our favorite touches was the fresh lobster delivered right to us by the local fishermen — it doesn’t get more authentic (or delicious) than that!Every detail of this stay exceeded our expectations. If you’re considering booking — do it. It was paradise in every way.

Getaway adventure with my sons

The property was amazing. My kids and I had an incredible time. It had the perfect combination of Beaty, seclusion, exclusivity, and access to everything we wanted. Eric was great and the fresh breakfast made for us every morning was excellent. My sons and I will remember this trip for the rest of our lives.

Truly amazing property and location if you want to be secluded Breakfast was not good, cooked probably hour before delivered. Was cold and not fresh That was the only problem everything else was amazing

We greatly appreciate your comments, we are always looking to improve and make the experience even more pleasant, that is why we are looking to continuously improve our breakfasts, training our native staff on the island to prepare them, as well as the use of fresh and locally sourced ingredients. , as with the presentation, so now we have much more variety for your choice of breakfast. Amazing location and staff. Property a little tired

Neither pools worked. Clearly for a while. Both cold and no spa options. Overall the property could do with a little love to bring it up to the cost that is being charged. Worked for our gang as all adults. Staff were perfect. Breakfast yummy each day. Captain and Boat trips amazing. Chef option disappointing. Didn't listen to dietary restrictions for the meal.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE

The property was BEAUTIFUL!!!! The decor was amazing - gorgeous wood walls and ceilings, modern furnishing and 2 glass floors! The outside space was huge with a number of great gather points, an endless pool and a jacuzzi. The house runs on solar - and when the many doors are open the breeze is delightful. The scenery with the water and mangroves was so serene and the boat ride over was so much fun. The host and boat-driver were delightful and very accommodating.

Absolutely Beautiful Home!!!

I want to start with good things, because there are so many! The home is gorgeous, every bit as beautiful in person as the pics. It’s huge & the decks are spacious. The rooms are large & everything was clean & in great condition. The area is beautiful, the communication w/the owner & boat captain was great, we couldn’t have asked for more. Everything went perfectly w/our pickup & trips to the main island. The ladies that brought breakfast & clean came when we wanted & it was good. I can’t have gluten & they accommodated me. We absolutely loved our stay & would go back in a heartbeat. Do the private chef & the photo shoot, so great! That being said, here are the “good to know” things for others to help w/expectations. First, the hot tub is NOT heated. I was under the impression from a prior review that it was broken, but it’s never heated. This was a big deal for us & a huge disappointment. Why it’s there taking up space when there’s a pool with jets IDK We love our hot tub nights but was way too cool in the evenings to get in that cold water so we never used it. The listing shouldn’t say it’s a HOT tub IMO. But the jetted pool during the hot day was cool & refreshing. There’s no hair dryer, iron, or washer in the over water house. The listing talks about both homes & it’s confusing. The home is secluded, but there’s SO much boat traffic going right by SO close to the home at all hours, it’s not very private after all, AKA, no skinny dipping. But overall we loved our stay!

Thank you very much for your comments, every day we make an effort to improve our service, regarding our Jacuzi, it works, however, since we are an Eco Lodge, for our electricity service we use solar panels with battery backup, which which allows our service to be 100% solar, but due to the energy load it requires, it would consume all the stored energy and leave the house without electricity. A solution is currently being implemented regarding hot water in our Jacuzi to be able to use it at special times without any problem. We really appreciate your comments.

Although there were many pleasing aspects to the house, the deck was not kept up properly, and the owner was aware that there were problems with the boards. While walking, I fell through and injured my leg. I had a baseball sized hematoma. When I informed the owner, his project manager offered me a bottle of wine. For the remainder of the evening I iced my leg and for the remainder of my vacation I had pain in my leg I continue to have pain. The owner and project managers did not seem concerned. The boards were corroded and as I noted they were well aware of this. Another problem occurred on the first night that we were there. After a long day we came back to the house, and there was no water when we went to shower. We informed them and they allowed us to shower in the other house. While showering there, the water went off again and ultimately, they figured out that the valve was shut off, and they turned on the water. One of the couples became frustrated and went to sleep prior to the water being fixed. Again, the owner and project manager did not seem concerned. There were a series of other less crucial issues, such as hot tubs without hot water, etc. I was very disappointed with the owners lack of response, and I would never return to this property. Although some of the amenities were nice, I would never return to this property as there were real safety issues.

Beautiful location - some issues

This is an amazing property. The house is lovely and we’ll equipped. It is remote and quiet if that is what you are looking for. However, the hot tub does not work AT ALL. I selected this property specifically for this amenity because my SO loves a hot tub. And I paid handsomely for this site. There was one other with a hot tub, that was much less expensive. Upon arrival, we were told by the on-site manager that it never worked. When I contacted the manager he said it did work. We went back and forth and then he stopped responding - telling me later he was traveling. He had the house staff bring buckets of hot water!! Needless to say, that did not help. No refund was offered to offset the disappointment of being stuck without the use of the hot tub. We were offered a “free” trip to Starfish Beach, but considering we never took the daily ride back and forth to the main island, this wasn’t really free in my opinion. I was further annoyed when I saw the person who left immediately preceding my stay ALSO mention that the hot tub didn’t work. So it’s not as if they didn’t know. At a minimum that should have been disclosed. Also as mentioned, the breakfast is not great. It was delivered cold (from the main house). The eggs were good, but we had to heat them up. The toast was dry and cold. There were waffles - Eggo - also cold. Cheese was processed cheese in the plastic wrapped on the platter. The fruit was delicious and they brought coffee each morning although we get up early so had made a pot already each day. There was no yogurt as had been mentioned or bacon or sausage. We had bought some so made our own. Overall, I would prefer to pay less and make my own breakfast. Bottom line: Beautiful location Very nice on site staff No hot tub Very expensive Cold breakfast

Thank you very much for your comments, every day we try harder to improve our service, we regret the experience with our Jacuzi, as we clarified in the messages, it does work, however, since we are an Eco Lodge, for our electric power service we use panels solar with battery backup, which allows our service to be 100% solar, but due to the energy load it requires, it would consume all the stored energy and leave the house without electricity. However, this is already being solved and the Jacuzi with hot water can be used at special times without any problem. Additionally, I want to tell you that we have improved our breakfast options, offering more variety, having more à la carte options with time in advance, since we are working with local people and looking for fresh products from the area, which allows us to provide you with a better local experience.

Amazing property

This home is in the most amazing location - not too far from Bocas Town by boat, but far enough to be peaceful and relatively isolated. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking implements and the host was thoughtful enough to include a separate ice maker and water dispenser. The water isn't safe to drink in Bocas and these amenities made it easier to manage our water. The entire house opens to the ocean, allowing you to better enjoy the breezes and views. It's furnished with lots chairs and lounges, and there are several places to sit down to eat or play a game. We didn't actually think we'd use the pool, but it ended up being a very nice amenity since the ocean is so warm. We spent a lot of time snorkeling on the reef right off the house. It's incredibly healthy and is full of fun creatures at night. Eagle rays and squid were constantly cruising by in the glow from the house lights, and we found octopus, toadfish, eels, and crabs out in the inky waters. So bring your underwater lights! The host also provided a kayak and SUP, which we used to explore the surrounding mangroves. One of the best amenities was probably having a boat captain right on site. Eric was so helpful with great information during our stay, seemed happy to cart us back and forth to town when we wanted, and even took us on a tour of some of the other nearby islands. I really can't say enough great things about this property, and only have two minor criticisms... 1.) The maids are a little stingy. There were no beach towels or extra towels, so we grabbed the towels from the second bedroom to use outside by the pool. The maids actually took those too when we left them drying outside and didn't replace them. We also had to ask for dishwasher pods a couple times as the maids would only provide one or two at a time. 2.) A primary reason we booked this property was for the hot tub. As other reviews have noted, the hot tub is present, but is not heated. I was a little upset about this at first as we have chronic conditions and soaking in warm water mitigates our pain. But after touring the property and talking with Eric, I realized that this amenity just isn't viable in a place that is dependent on rain water and solar energy. So even if it was working, it just seemed like an unrealistic drain on their resources.
