Four bedroom private home on a quiet cove on Lake Hartwell. More pics to come. Let our home away from home be your relaxing summer vacation getaway or your Clemson game homebase! 30 minutes from Clemson. Wooded, gentle sloping lot with a fun lighted trail to the lake. Two large decks with tons of seating for relaxing together, morning coffees and enjoying the views. Fire pit area. Dock for swimming, fishing or to tie up your own boat or a rental (boat launch within two miles of the house). Kayaks available for your use! Fishing poles for the angler in your group! Both an upstairs and a downstairs kitchen for excellent entertaining! Upstairs kitchen is fully equipped. Dining table seats 8. Comfy beds and linens. Some games and puzzles for nighttime family time. Free WiFi (note that we cannot guarantee internet/wifi will be available as it can take days to get a technician from our service provider to come out if it does go down).
No smoking, no pets.

We hope you love our lake home as much as we do!

We love staying here, this was our second year renting this house. A great house in a great area. Close access to a boat ramp, and in a cove that not too many boats ride around in. The house is out from town while still being close enough for running to the store or restaurants. The kids love the basement and the toys/games available to play with. Definitely would recommend staying there.

Secluded getaway

This home is in a wooded beautiful location. Any minor questions or issues were quickly resolved by the owner with quick communication. Easy slope to the lovely dock and outdoor area was nice to relax for our teenagers. Plenty of room for our friends and family, well stocked kitchen and and we would rent again.

A Little Piece Of Heaven

We had an absolute blast as always! Mandy is an awesome host—so easy to work with. The property is the perfect size and just a super short walk to the lake. Can’t wait to come back!

Great Lake Getaway

We loved staying at this house. Lake view and access was great. Location was nice to be away from busy areas but not too far from town for stores and restaurants if needed. Would definitely recommend.

The lake location is great, so quite but also has deep water for floating. My group of couples with a few kids (1.5-4yo) had a great week for Labor Day. Walk to the lake isn’t too steep, needed to hold the little ones hands so they didn’t trip on rocks. Bedrooms are a little small, fine for a couple just using the room to sleep, but tight fit for a pack n play in rooms other than the master. The main kitchen is a bit small for more than 1 cook at a time. Great to have the downstairs kitchen for extra storage of snacks and beverages. One thing that we thought was gross was the upstairs bathroom has carpet. The mountain store is nice for forgotten items, but anything else is about 20-30min away. Overall great place and would stay again.

Family lake getaway

This was a perfect lake getaway from Atalanta . The house is little on the older side, but has everything needed for a great stay and is perfectly stocked and decorated. This is on the quieter side of the lake , so great place to get into water for kayak and swim . Mandy was very responsive and was a pleasure to work with . Would definitely recommend this vacation getaway ,

Lake days with friends

Annual lake trip with our close friends. The house had a nice layout and was perfect for 8 adults. Since it did rain some we loved the covered wrap around porch. Well stocked kitchen. The path to the dock was very nice and level. The area of the house is on the lake was the perfect distance away from the main lake channels located in a nice quiet cove. We will definitely try to stay there again!

Slice of Lake Heaven!

We just spent 12 glorious days in this beautiful home! Plenty of room for our large group. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Super clean and welcoming. We started each day with coffee on the huge deck overlooking the lake. Some mornings deer wandered through the yard as well. We spent most of our days on the dock. Easy, level walk down from the house...even for my 77-year-old parents. We caught tons of fish from the dock - from little bass to large catfish! Quiet little cove allowed for swimming and kayaking. Nice, safe community with wonderful neighbors! Owner was accommodating, friendly, and quick to respond to questions. I would give this house 10 stars if I could! Just beautiful and comfortable! Home away from home! ~ Be sure to check out the Mountain Store which is just a few miles away for anything you might need! Very friendly and well-stocked. Ice and live bait as well!

Great stay on the lake

Only thing that we didn’t like was that the ground floor carpet had many many millipedes, both dead and alive. My 18 year old would not sleep or use the bathroom on the ground floor as a result. There were a fair amount, but it was not so bad it was horror story like. There were only millipedes in the carpet. I alerted the owners and they were very responsive and apologetic. The 2nd and 3rd floor were awesome, as well as the dock, and the property itself, and I would give the property 5 starts for the second and third floors and the outside. Not a criticism, but if you have any elderly people in your party who have problems with stairs or walking on uneven ground, this may not be the best property for that family member, there are many stairs to the upstairs and downstairs, and the walkway down to the dock is on an incline and gravel. Anyone with no impediments though this house is very nice and relaxing.

Annual family women's trip

Our group of 7 women has spent a long weekend each summer ar a lake or beach for 12 years now, and this house is now one of our top 2 places to stay. Other than no soap or body wash in any of the 3 showers, a couple of mirrors that weren't clean, and trash being left in the kitchen wastecan, we were well impressed with the house from the start of our stay. We thought it fit our group very well, particularly the large table we could all eat around and play board games at, which is such a plus for our group! And even though only one of the 2 kitchens is well stocked, it was great to have a second refrigerator/freezer in the lower level, as well as thecright number of bathrooms and bedrooms for us. We loved that the trip down to the dock and lake were easy and fairly short, and the deck outside the main floor was also great! This is definitely a "no frills" place, and it doesn't claim to be otherwise, but it would have been nice to have a bedside table and a lamp in the secondary bedrooms, but we made do with booklights since there was only overhead lighting. The lake was down quite a bit due to.lack of rainfall this summer, but it was still a nice place to swim and sun and kayak, and that cove of the lake was quiet and not too encumbered by loud jetskis. The next door neighbors were also very nice and friendly! We would definitely like to rent this house again and would recommend it to other groups looking for a great place to stay at Lake Hartwell!

WONDERFUL HOUSE ON QUIET PART OF THE LAKE

Property was super clean and had all the amenities including a great view of the lake from the deck. The downstairs with separate kitchen was great for the teens. The dock was nice and big and loved the big dining room table. Check in was so easy and owners were great to communicate with. They were so easy to work with.

Perfect place for a weekend

We had the nicest time staying at this lake house. Everything was exactly as described. The location was great, and staying on the cove was nice because it was a pretty low traffic area. The kids had a great time swimming and kayaking, and enjoyed taking over the lower level as their “own”. We would stay here again !

Great location!!

The house works perfect with a family. There is enough room to spread out and not get on each other's nerves. The dock was perfect for our 24ft pontoon boat. This was a perfect location!!!

Great House and Location

The floor plan is great is it allows everyone to spread out with their own space and bathrooms. The house is in a large cove which gets it off of the main channel. If you take or rent a boat, it wont get beat up from boat traffic/wake. Also a good location for swimming. House was very clean with everything you need. The owners are very responsive and the rent was a very easy process. We would highly recommend.
