Our Happy Place! Amazing Vacation Home on Lake Hartwell

Our beautiful lakefront home is perfect for a large family or multi-family vacation. The living space is spread over three levels and includes a large deck. The main level includes one bedroom (king sized bed), one bathroom, the main living room area overlooking the lake, the kitchen, dining area, fire place and big screen TV. The first floor (basement) has two bedrooms (1 with a king bed and 1 with a queen bed both have an adjoining bathroom), a living area with a fireplace, pool table, big screen TV, bar/kitchenette area and lake front walk out. The third floor includes two bedrooms (2 queen sized beds in one and one queen sized bed in the other) and one bathroom.

We have a large gently slopping yard leading to a large covered dock with one boat slip and dual jets ski lifts. We also have ample parking (driveways on both sides of the house, across the front and across the street).

For those who have a larger party, we have a second home (VRBO #1893465) and we offer a discount when renting both. The two homes are separated by 5 other homes, making it easy to walk back and forth.

We are just 20 minutes from Seneca for shopping and dining, 30 minutes from Clemson (great for football weekends) and Anderson and 90 minutes from Atlanta.

For those who enjoy golf the Chickasaw Point 18 hole course is less than 15 minutes away.

This home was perfect for my families needs. The lake view was beautiful and expansive due to so many windows. Loved having the big open family room to Kitchen so we were always all together. Two big tables for playing games and or eating together. Lower level was perfect for one family with younger kids to have separate quarters and a pool table, kitchenette area and access to outdoors as well. Owners set up a Christmas tree for us since we stayed during the holiday which saved me so much time and energy. We will definitely want to stay here again!

Perfectly clean and fully equipped, yet also so comfortable! The yard down to the lake is a gentle slope, fire pit with many chairs in the middle. A perfect spot for a family gathering!

5 stars---The place was perfect. The furnishings were perfect as well, plenty of towels, in the kitchen, plenty of plates and glasses ass well as utensils, the outdoor furnishings, and of course the dock for our boat. We are very very pleased. One thing, the outdoor grill, it was a disappointment, the flames only heated up to about 1/8th of an inch and we could not grill due to that situation. It needs to be replaced. Also, we asked about the propane gas tanks, 2 were there as stated, one was empty and the other only 1/2 full, so if the grill was working properly, we might not have had enough gas. That was the only negative. We will book again next year, great location and plenty of room for out 2 families.

Great spot and n the lake

We stayed over the July 4 holiday for nine days with my family and my sister’s family and children. We had a great time using the house and the very flat backyard comparatively. We used the boat dock to dock our boat every day and enjoy beautiful lake Hartwell. We had great communication with the hosts and would certainly stay there again.

Happiness on the Lake

We stayed five wonderful weeks. We just love the house and the property. This was our second year in a row. The owners are the greatest to deal with. We have already booked for next year.

Gorgeous and Delightful

Our stay at this house was delightful, and the Christmas decorations added magic to our holiday! The house was spotless, with ample room and supplies for all ten of us to enjoy every minute. The kitchen was well-stocked, spotless and ready for use, including helpful supplements such as oil. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. The kids loved their own space, which included a pool table. There was plenty of parking for everyone - we had use of basically three driveways!Thank you for hosting!

The house was well-appointed. It had everything anyone could ask for. The only suggestion is to add a sheet set and blanket for the pull-out sofa downstairs.

Great Place!

The home is a well kept, beautiful, and spacious vacation home which is suitable for year round living! The winding road leading to the property was the ONLY negative as it had several hairpin turns, blind drive sections, low shoulders and ditches on each side and could be a treacherous drive, especially at night! The home is right on Lake Hartwell and the outside yard and property are also well kept and beautiful with a sitting area by the firepit, a beach, a boat dock on the lake with a slip for one boat and 2 jet skis. There is plenty of parking for all guests and visitors alike! The parking areas are also well kept! This property was so good it could be a wedding or reunion venue as it is very spacious with parking for (guessing) 20 or more cars! At dusk , the setting sun was picturesque! Sitting on the dock , beach , or firepit was very relaxing. Inside the home, most things guests need was provided, and one only needed to arrive with their luggage basically! Bedrooms were huge (3 of 5) or at least very decent size (the 2 smaller ones). All beds were king or queen size and very comfortable to sleep on (high quality mattresses probably). Pool table was nice too. Kitchen was well equipped with pans, plates, silverware and even spices for cooking! We all (8 adults and 2 children) enjoyed our stay there and wish we booked more time there to further experience the area! Overall 10 out of 10 rating for this property!

Truly Amazing Place

We would rate this Vacation Home and the hosts a 10+/10. It was the perfect place for our two families to spend quality time together! It had everything we could want and more! It was fully equipped with beautiful lake views, large backyard, huge fire pit, great game room, and a large open kitchen/dining/family room. Relaxing and watching the sunset on the dock was breathtaking, and coffee on the deck was the perfect way to start our mornings. The house has beautiful decor throughout and very comfortable beds! We really couldn’t you ask for more! We will definitely rent again soon!

Great Lake access nice sized home

Annual Family reunion / vacation nice sized home, easy walk to the lake, nice dock. Helpful property manager nearby. Owners were very helpful and responsive. Minor wishes were for more bed pillows, and an extra blanket or two. Trash service required that guests haul trash themselves to nearby collection area. Launch ramp is about 10 min from house. Overall great spot, would consider returning in the future.

This place is a gem!

We did a family and friends get together and this place was perfect. Clean, great layout with a main, upstairs, and downstairs. We loved the big kitchen and island on the main. It is very spacious with comfortable/relaxing seating both inside and outside. Excellent wifi reception. Amazing view of the lake. We enjoyed the pool table downstairs and having a fridge on the main and downstairs was very convenient. Would definitely book again. Ed R.

Awesome Times

We had a wonderful girls week. Having stayed in the house before a couple of years ago before the renovations we were excited to stay a second time. The pictures do not do the renovations justice. The kitchen, dining and living space was fabulous. The downstair bathroom and bedroom renovation was just we needed. Debra is wonderful to deal with and she is always quick to respond. I have recommended this house to several people since since my stay.

Fantastic vacation

My wife and I stayed for a month and our two daughters and their families who live in Atlanta visited on the weekends and sometimes during the week. The house was fantastic and well stocked with supplies. All bedrooms and bathrooms were great and ready for our arrival. The dock and lake and weather were perfect. Hosts were better than great. My wife cried when we left. We will be back next year for an even longer stay.

Awesome Family Christmas get away

This lake house is amazing! It was so clean and well decorated. Several of the rooms are very large and our party of 10 felt like we had ample space. Love the 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and the lower living space with a pool table. Everyone had hours of fun playing pool! We also enjoyed the fire pit one night before the rain came. It would be a great place to stay when it's warm enough to use the lake. The host was extremely responsive every time I sent her a question. The kitchen had everything we needed including nice sized coffee mugs. There is ample parking which was nice since we had 4 vehicles. There are plenty of games to play and puzzles to do. We would definitely stay here again! Note that the road to the house is quite winding so we were glad it was above freezing during our stay so we didn't have to worry about getting out. Also, you have to take your own trash to the local recycling area. It's not far but if you check out on a Sunday or Wednesday, it's closed so you have to carry it with you.

Thanksgiving with the Family

We enjoyed a wonderful time at this beautiful lakeside home. The house is spacious and was able to accommodate our children and grandchildren. The living area was huge with an amazing view of Lake Hartwell. There were plenty of roomy bedrooms for all of us to sleep comfortably. Owners are very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Paradise On The Lake

This is our third stay and each visit is better than the last. The recent work on the main floor and deck area have made the house even more wonderful, taking advantage of the incredible lake views. Can't say enough good things about the house, property, location, owners. We look forward to our next visit.

Family time

We love this property! This was our 3rd time staying here and our 1st since the renovations. Everything really works well together, easy to work in the kitchen together. The only downside we found is when you sit down to eat at the tables in the evening the sun is in your eyes and it really needs more handrails on the stairs and in the shower. We definitely will want to stay here again, it's like coming home!
