The guest is being untruthful. If this happened why did she rent our other property for the next month. She guest left the house a mess. Never cleaned or did laundry and still owes for utility overages. I would never rent to her again.

I am sorry they feel that way, I can tell you that you cannot please certain people, as they cannot be pleased. I communicated with them through VRBO site on the fees to heat the pool. They signed a lease stating the extra charges on utilities and the departure time. I did adjust their stay as there was a conflict with someone coming in that day, and they were given notice of this adjustment. Their departure time was 9:00 a.m. as stated in their lease and we had cleaning there at 9:30 a.m. and the renter was not close to leaving. When you rent from us we want you to enjoy your vacation. These renters from day one complained about everything, they refused to pay their deposit, which was a red flag. We never once raised our voice to them, and gave them the extra time to depart the premises. They went to VRBO with lies, and VRBO cited with us because the communications were through the site and they concluded that they were not being truthful. People feel that they can hurt someone's business because they are just miserable people in their life and want the same for everyone else. I have 20 properties I manage and all my reviews are awesome! I am sorry that they feel the need to not tell the truth and put lies on here to make themselves feel better. From the first day they arrived they stated they really could not afford to stay there, and that was a red flag. They trashed the house, for 30 days they never did laundry or cleaned up after themselves. They left trash all over and two 50 gallon recycle bins full of beer bottles and wine bottles. They used the house as a party house, and this is in a 45 and up community. We had a few complaints during their stay from the neighbors. I would not rent to them ever again.
