Cozy log cabin in Lake Community.

Cozy log cabin located on a quiet cul-de-sac, this is the relaxing get away you have been looking for! Hang out on the covered front porch in the rocking chairs or enjoy the back deck that is nestled in the woods. Open Floorplan with a new kitchen, quartz counters, and new appliances. Two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen, one with bunk beds. Upstairs in the loft you'll find a king and a half bath. The finished basement has reclaimed barnwood walls, a large couch, recliner, 65 inch roku Tv, dartboard and a popcorn machine!
We are part of the private Sleepy Hollow Lake community where you will have access to amenities such as a lakeside beach, two pools, playground, tennis, pickleball, volleyball and basketball courts. Please note- use of these facilities are limited to Sleepy Hollow Lake members, so guests will be provided wristbands and a key card for access.
We are 20 minutes to Historic Hudson where you can stroll their main street and find multiple restaurants to enjoy. If you visit in wintertime, we are appropriately 45 minutes to Hunter or Windham mountains.

Great Getaway

We had a great time at this property. The host was very easy to work with and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. The house is immaculate and has several fun spaces to spend time with family and friends. We will definitely go back.

We had an amazing time at Valā€™s cabin. Itā€™s is full of amenities. The cabin offers a private secluded feel yet it is just a few streets away from the lake beach area, pool and kayak rental or launch. Great place to just relax or do many of the activities available.. we picked up playing pickleball. Thank you again for a great stay!

Amazing place. Quiet and private. Close to pool and lake. Outdoor ate and grille were great. Darts Pac-Man and cornhole kept the kids busy. Kitchen was well appointed. Best Iā€™ve stayed at. Valerie was great to work with.

Awesome cabin in the Catskills

We stayed for a fall wedding in Hudson. Val is an amazing host and the property and cabin were impeccable. Excellent place to stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful stay

My wife, son, and I couldnā€™t have been more comfortable in this beautiful cabin and community. We loved hanging out on the back porch and playing games in the basement. Nice location - short drives to ski in Windham and dine in Hudson. Thanks again for a memorable stay, and we hope to be back soon.

Fantastic Getaway

My group had a wonderful stay at Valā€™s cabin. The place was private, comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. We especially loved the basement and the back deck. And of course the kids loved the community swimming pool. Val was super communicative and check-in and checkout could not have been easier. I would definitely stay again.

Sweet cabin in the woods

This cabin was a great base for our two week stay upstate. It has lots of little extras that made it very comfortable, like the finished basement with big TV, nice grill, washer/dryer, and two full baths. The kids really enjoyed the pool and beach and we got a bonus when we were able to watch the July 4th celebration in the lake community -- it was really a nice show!

Amazing getaway

Amazing property that lets you disconnect from the city! Amazing deck on the back that you can relax and just enjoy the quiet. The downstairs game room is great way to spend time with the family! Easy check in and check out process, great communication with host!

Lovely stay in a lovely community!

The house was even better than the images! Cozy, but also nice and very well maintained. The amenities in the community were perfect for a low key weekend - pool, lake, etc. Athens is under 10 mins and Hudson is 20 mins and so cute! We really had the best weekend!

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful long weekend in the Log Cabin! The cabin is cozy and quaint with every modern amenity. Well stocked kitchen although we ate out everyday! Great restaurants and shopping in Athens and Hudson. This is an ideal location to explore everything the Hudson Valley has to offer. We would recommend to our friends and definitely stay again.

Great location, lots to do

We really enjoyed our stay here - great cabin with everything you need, kids especially loved the popcorn machine! The host, Val, was really responsive to our questions and itā€™s a great area with plenty to do. We enjoyed a trip to Catamount Mountain (40 minutes) to the aerial adventure, Hudson for shopping and restaurants and Kaaterskill Falls hike. Lake and pool access were also wonderful. Highly recommend!

Nice cabin

We enjoyed our stay. The retro video games were our favorite. Nice public lake/pool. The cabin is cute, clean and spacious. It was stocked with dishes, cooking pots/pans, etc. Great communication from property owner.

We had a lovely time gathering for a small college reunion. The house was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed the amenities. It was clean, the property was very well maintained and the owner quickly responded to my questions and needs. Couldn't have asked for a better stay. We will be back.

Private cabin getaway

The cabin was tucked away in a cul de sac surrounded by trees-so private and peaceful! The interior was decorated perfectly and super clean.It had all the amenities you would need! The lower level had a dart board,a Pac man game table, a big screen TV and a popcorn machine! My family loved it. Beautiful huge deck in the back for family to gather-quick 5 minute drive to lake and pool.Val was super responsive to any questions and we would definitely stay again-I can imagine how nice it would be in the Fall and Winter!!

Wonderful stay at a fantastic property!

We were the first guests at this newly renovated property and had a great time during our brief stay. The communication from the owner was exceptional, as not only did I get to chat with her before our stay to learn about the property and surrounding area, but every time I submitted a question or comment through the VRBO app she responded almost immediately. When we checked in for the start of our stay, the house was immaculate. Everything we needed was there to welcome us and make our stay comfortable. The kitchen was newly updated and stocked with everything we needed, the beds comfortable, the downstairs area is great for relaxing and watching a movie or playing a game, and the back deck area was fantastic and provided a great space to hang out and have dinner outside. The community the cabin is located in was quiet, and we took advantage of access to swimming at the lake and the nearby pool. There are plenty of areas to get out and explore nearby, with restaurants, shops, wineries, historic sites, etc. Both my family and the couple we were traveling with would not hesitate to stay here again, and we have shared our impressions with friends who are interested as well. If you are looking for a nice quiet escape with all the amenities, a great host, and a chance to explore the Hudson Valley area then this property should be one to consider.

Fall trip

My family and I made a short trip up the Hudson valley in October for a long weekend and were fortunate enough to stay at this amazing cabin. It was actually better than the pictures indicated. We ate outside on the porch, played old school video games on her pacman machine, and explored the local towns. The owner gave great recommendations for local restaurants which we enjoyed. I would love to come back!
