Lake and mountain views greet you from large picture windows. This property is near NYS hiking trails. It is a 30 minute drive to Saratoga Springs and 7 minutes to the quaint town of Northville.

The setting on the lake was beautiful and it was great to sit on the dock and jump off of it. We loved the views and the three season room as well. Very homey place that was well equipped. Note there are stairs to get down to the dock. Recommend stopping for groceries before you get far from town. We popped into Northville a few times for ice cream and to visit the 5 and 10. Great place!

Thanks, Beth. The house is private with 250 feet of waterfront property. I fully stock the house with all the paper products my renters would need so they can just bring their food, drink and relax. So glad you enjoyed your stay. You are always welcome back.

First off the host was very responsive, was able to answer any questions and responded within 30 minutes of an inquiry. If you’re looking for privacy right on the lake with beautiful views this is the place to be. Check in was easy. Property was well maintained. Interior of the home was very clean and well stocked. For those that fish we had good luck catching small mouth bass and northern pike. All in all we had a great experience. The only thing negative I would say was the garbage disposal. The receptacle was fairly small and located at the roadway which is a bit far with a steep grade from the home. Not ideal for those who are older or have health issues. Other than that I give the home a 5 star rating.

Thank you, Regan for the lovely review. The house is located very close to the water for maximum privacy. As for the garbage—it does have to be brought to the road so it can be picked up. Of course, the garbage can be dropped off as you drive out. We hope to see you back in the future.

We enjoyed a wonderful, 3 week stay at this cabin on GSL. The camp was very spacious with sweeping views of the lake, several options for dining and gathering.Our favorite space was the enclosed porch that had plenty of seating. Our host, Roberta, was very attentive to our needs and extremely conscientious with follow up. We will definitely book here again.

The property was all that we could have wished for. It was clean, amply supplied kitchen, and more than comfortable. Listening to some LP’s on the turn table while the sun was setting over the lake, brought back many memories. Roberta was responsive and helpful with any concerns. Would definitely recommend this property

Great Time at the Lake

We all really enjoyed our stay at the lakeside cabin. The fishing was excellent, the house was spacious and comfortable for everyone, and the views from the lake were fantastic. Overall a great spot, and made our vacation a special time.

Family Vacation

We had a beautiful week! The home was spacious and well equipped. Our daughter absolutely loved swimming and jumping off the dock. The adults loved spending lazy afternoons floating and reading. The sunsets were beautiful! The back porch was the perfect place to have breakfast in the morning and unwind at night. The place was clean and really had everything we needed.

Lakeside Getaway

Glorious time away relaxing by the lake. Views from dining and living area perfect to wake up to with coffee. Ample seating in multiple areas outside to enjoy the sunset. Will be returning.

Lake house

We enjoyed our stay! Great location and the house was clean ans spacious! The yard has different elevations due to being on a hill, might be harder for kids under 3. Overall we would stay there again!

A Great Sacandaga vacation

Lake House!

We couldn’t be happier with our stay at this home. Roomy, stocked kitchen for cooking, swimming, kayaking and a lovely room to read or play games that over looks the lake.

Family vacation

What a lovely relaxing week we had! The view of the lake and sunsets were amazing. The sunroom was a favorite place to chill with coffee in the morning and a breezy way to unwind at the end of a day. We enjoyed the breweries and waterfalls and all that the area had to offer.

Excellent retreat!

Peace and quiet galore!The house decor was a wonderful reminder of how getaways used to be. Knotty pine everywhere and vintage layout. Marvelous!Everything you could need to just kick back and relax. The sunsets were just as beautiful as in the reviews. What a find.Roberta was a most gracious host. Quick to respond, and the house was neat as a pin.Will definitely recommend to others!

Lakefront Cabin

It was an absolute pleasure to stay at Foxes Den. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the solitude of late fall on the lake. The property had everything we could want. Roberta's attention to detail was evident. The house was very clean and well appointed. We're looking forward to returning.

Just as pictured and described

This is our second year at Foxes Den. We enjoy the privacy and the expansive view of the lake from all the windows. The house is very clean and complete with all the little extras to make your vacation less stressful. The host is very easy to work with.
