We had a very nice stay. Great place for a small family and two dogs. Only a 10-minute walk to town. Very clean cabin with large, fenced-in backyard. Host was gracious. A lot of attention to detail, and loved the teddy bear theme.

What a beautiful, clean and fun place to stay in Idyllwild!!! This cottage was perfect! Super close to town yet far enough to feel isolated. They left us wood for the fire and clear instructions for everything we needed. We’ve stayed in a bunch of homes throughout Idyllwild and this one topped them all!Thank you again! We’ll sure be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Honey Bear Cottage. Elena and Harold are outstanding hosts—friendly, highly responsive, and proactive communicators. They even came to our rescue immediately when we managed to lock ourselves out! The cottage is charming, well-stocked, and full of thoughtful amenities. We loved the stone fireplace, and the level 2 charger was a significant plus! Overall, fantastic hosts and home!

This is a cute cabin to stay at. It's got all the kitchen amenities you need. The fenced backyard is great for our dog. The host was super responsive and even gave us a bottle of champagne for the new years.

Honey Bear Cottage was delightful and Elena and Harold are very gracious hosts. The cottage is just adorable and super comfortable. Everything we needed, I mean everything, was there. The house, outside areas, kitchen, and bathroom were so well stocked. The deck was our favorite spot at the beginning and end of the day. Our doggie adored the big backyard. Elena and Harold were excellent communicators before, during, and after our stay. The day after we checked in, there was a weather alert for Idyllwild (cold, rain, and snow). Harold personally called us to make sure we felt safe and to let us know where extra wood was stored for the fireplace. He said to call if we needed anything and I knew he was sincere. We look forward to returning to Honey Bear Cottage and highly recommend the property as well as the kind hosts!

We very much enjoyed this well-appointed home! It was a short walk to town which we loved. The kitchen had all we needed. The backyard is huge…it was very cold when we were there so did not enjoy it as much as we’d have liked, but would love to return in the summer. The cottage is very pet friendly and the Ev charger was super helpful for us. We would definitely return!

We were impressed with the entire environment! We were impressed with how well the fireplace drafted to provide warmth and a cozy atmosphere. It was a perfect yard for our pups. The owners thought of everything to make it a fabulous stay! We will be back!!!

We truly enjoyed our stay here. Having the screen in back porch gives a separate area to hang out in other than the living room. The table on the back porch was a good place to play games.

Honeybear Cottage

We had a very nice cozy stay. The cabin was everything we hoped for, and had a fully stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Also has a nice deck to enjoy morning coffee. Quiet peaceful location close to town. Great communication from owners. Would definitely return for another visit.

Dog friendly mountain getaway

Dog friendly home in a great location walking distance to town. Our dogs loved sniffing around the large fenced in back yard and we enjoyed watching them from the patio with the mountain views. The fireplace was great for warming up and relaxing after a day out hiking. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for meals at home. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Idyllwild.

Our stay at Honeybear cottage

It was a great stay. I my wife and I had a great time. The backyard was amazing to just relax underneath the oak tree. The location is a short stay to town for all the activities. We thank you again for making our stay the best that I can be. Will be staying here again in the future.
