Savage Sands is located on half an acre of one of the top ranked beaches in the world, Tar Bay, Great Exuma, Bahamas. This oceanfront paradise offers a 4000 square foot home that comfortably sleeps 10 in four spacious bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom. When you arrive, you will be greeted by swaying palm trees and brightly colored bougainvillea. The view as you walk in the front door will take your breath away. You will see a completely open floor plan from the kitchen to the living room/dining room framed by a half moon shape of floor to ceiling windows giving you a 180 degree view of the spectacular Exuma blue water that awaits you just steps away. As you walk out onto the deck you can relax on the lounge chairs and take in the beauty in front of you that is Tar Bay. You can walk for miles in the soft, powder white sand, relax in the large new infinity pool, play volleyball or choose to explore the gorgeous turquoise ocean via paddle boards, 1 double kayak, 2 single kayaks, inner tubes, masks and fins all provided for your enjoyment during your stay. You will never want to leave your new Bahamian home away from home! Security cameras are located on the exterior perimeter for safety and security purposes only. Absolutely no pets and no smoking or vaping on the property!

We LOVED our week at Savage Sands! Stephanie and her family didn't miss a thing when setting up their house for guests. They provide comfy, oversized beds; enough toiletries and other household items to last the week; labels on all the drawers and cabinets in the kitchen so it's easy to find things; and all the pool and ocean toys you could need. The house and property are stunning - the pictures and descriptions are 100% accurate. You get the best of both worlds by having a beautiful pool and ocean to enjoy. Book your stay NOW! We had the most amazing winter getaway at the gorgeous Savage Sands. The pictures really do not do it justice. Shawn was a fantastic host and Stephanie was incredible with frequent communications and accommodating our multiple travel delays. The owner and host were both amazing. I have been to the Caribbean many times, this was my favorite vacation rental by far. Beaches and home are pristine. Some of the most accommodating people I have met on any trip. We rode hydro bikes and took pigs/iguana tour both were worth every penny. My 70 plus year old parents and my 4 year old both had everything they could have wanted. This place is perfect for any age. The heated pool was a wonderful spot to relax.Exuma is truly a slice of heaven! I genuinely believe after touring the island this is the best vacation rental in Exuma! Would never go anywhere else!

The home was immaculate, beautiful views, easy access to great beach. Plenty of spices for cooking. Plenty of room, only drawback was lots of stairs for elderly visitors to navigate. Would recommend highly.

Great time at Savage Sands

Amazing visit!! The house is beautiful, well maintained, and super clean. It is very well stocked with everything you need to cook, play, and make awesome memories. The location is perfect with quick access to the airport, Georgetown, and Little Exuma. The owners and onsite care taker were very attentive during our stay. We stayed 8 days with our children, and everyone was sad to leave.

Look No Further

If there is a nicer place to stay on Exhuma, I don’t know what it could possibly be. The house is absolutely spectacular, no detail has been overlooked. The pool is fantastic and is right on a beautiful white-sand beach. Our family spent time on paddle boards and kayaks and spent nights on the Wii and many indoor games. The owners have provided cornhole, spike ball, and all kinds of amenities to ensure a delightful family vacation. They are responsive and offer detailed suggestions to make your stay spectacular. It is without hesitation that we recommend Savage Sands and can’t wait for our next trip back.

My wonderful wife Steph and I have been married for a magical 28 years and we have traveled around the world together to some of the most exotic places on Earth. I have done 2 tours on Survivor (Pearl Islands and Cambodia-Second Chance, that's right, a 2-time Survivor loser, lol) and had the pleasure of experiencing incredibly beautiful beaches in remote locations. In 2020, Steph and I visited Great Exuma island in the Bahamas and this beach house and we immediately fell deeply in love. Within 5 minutes of setting foot in this beach house, we made an offer and never looked back and it was the best decision we ever made. Over the last 4 years, we have created deeply meaningful, incredible family memories with our two daughter, MacKenzie and Skyleur, that we will cherish for a lifetime and we have only just begun. I can say unconditionally that the Savage Sands beach house and location is order of magnitude more gorgeous than any other tropical location I have ever been. Trust me, you will not be disappointed and you too will create memories that you will cherish forever!
