Great Hope Town Rental

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sea Merc is a nicely appointed home in the Hope Town settlement. From the porch upstairs, you can watch boats entering the harbour, and you have a front row seat to the lighthouse. There is no vehicle traffic in front of the home which is really nice and quiet.

Memories at Sea Merc

Havin gbeen to Hopetown numerous time before with different groups, this was the 1st time we stayed in the establishment. We rented a golf cart & a boat and appreciated the private dock for the boat. The house was great as our adult children had the downstairs to themselves and we had the upstairs. The views were breathtaking as you can see the bay from the upstairs porch. We cooked and used the kitches well stocked amenities. The porch wrapped around the whole house. Grill worked nicely. The only recommendation we would make is to add mattress toppers to the beds as they are rather firm. We would gladly recommend this charming place and would stay there again.

Paradise with a view

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was our second stay a SeaMerc and looking forward to our next one. We were met by ECP at the dock who helped carry our bags and let us us into the house. It has all the amenities you might need including beach towels-thank you!!! One thing you need to know is that there is only a large tub with a handheld shower in the master bathroom. We brought our Roku so the teenage boys could keep up with sports in between beach, and basketball court time. The A/C worked great. One of the reasons we chose this house was it had a generator-which came in handy. It’s almost a necessity these days. The wrap around porches make for spectacular views of the water, lighthouse and nighttime stargazing. I’ve been visiting Hope Town for 57 years and would definitely recommend this house!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We picked Hope Town as a celebration for my daughter's graduation. The trip overall was a great success. We had an awesome family vacation. The Sea Merc was very clean and comfortable. The view of the entrance to the harbor was great for watching the boats come and go and the night sky from the rear deck was incredible and we saw numerous shooting stars.We will definitely go back to Hope Town and would rent this home again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay for a week at Sea Merc. The home is fresh and spotless. Everything works well, including the back up generator! The location is ideal, a short walk to the beach, to the center of the settlement, and to the docks in the harbour. The views from upstairs are amazing, and include the lighthouse and harbour, sunrise to sunset! The upstairs primary bedroom has a huge closet, comfortable king bed, and well appointed bathroom. The two downstairs bedrooms are smaller but comfortable with a nice bathroom. This is a lovely, new home that we really enjoyed.

It is a lovely, beautifully maintained, exceptionally clean home just a minute’s walk from the Lower Public Dock where the ferry drops you off. The sunsets are spectacular from the upper balcony, where there’s a dining table, lounge chairs, and a barbecue to sit and enjoy the view. Sea Merc is a very short walk to a small grocery store, Captain Jack’s restaurant, and several shops. The rental property company was super easy and pleasant to deal with...we definitely recommend staying at Sea Merc!
