Highly recommend this place

Iguana Villa was a great place to stay. Petra responded quickly to any questions or things we needed. The location was great to get anywhere on the island. The home was immaculate and well-stocked. It was an added bonus to come with a great vehicle. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore this beautiful island.

Great VRBO Rental

This villa was in a great location and was very comfortable for 5 people. The pool and car were the cherry on top! The location is mid island and allowed us to get to all areas of the island quickly. We will book this villa the next time we visit Curacao. Thanks Mike and Petra!

Great Villa for Exploring Paradise

The property is as advertised. Lovely pool, lovely yard. Breezy, clean rooms, reliable appliances, lots of towels and tupperware, and other sorts of things rental villas are often lacking. The villa manager was helpful and responded very quickly when we had a question. The villa's location makes it easy to explore the island, and it is also easy to avoid Willemstadt if you want to avoid crowds. All of the nearby beaches we tried were lovely, with easy and entertaining snorkeling, good prices for lounge chairs. Driving wa fun, and most drivers were very considerate. The island is clean and pretty, with lots of things to do.

Will not stay there again. Be aware of the hidden fees. We are a family of 3 and we were charged for an extra person even though the villa is advertised for 8 people. Asked the owner why - never got a response. We booked the trip on Expedia and there was nothing about electricity and water usage not included in the cost. We found out about that after the fact. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the master bath, there was an old soap stuck on the shelf in the shower, no shampoo, no soap, no paper towels in the kitchen. We talked about that with the property manager Petra and she said they rely on the guest to leave "stuff" and the previous guests took everything with them. Speechless! At least she brough toilet paper. Out of 4 air conditionings, only 1 worked. Tv was turning on by itself so we had to keep it unplugged. She said somebody will come to fix it, nothing happened. We were charged extra cleaning fee because it took them more time to wash the towels! We've travelled to many different places and countries and never been charged extra for washing towels! We used 2 beach towels per persons because it was impossible for them to dry overnight. We used separate towels for the shower and the pool because this is how we were instructed (there were labels on the towels shelf saying which one to be used where). And it is a beach vacation after all! Take pictures of the car on day 1! Don't trust Petra- she missed a spot and accused us on the last day. Don't book it!

Life the island life

Wonderfully equiped three bedroom, two bath house in great location. Owner and property manager did everything to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable. Great to be in a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle but close to wonderful beaches. True testimony on how good... we are going back

Schönes Ferienhaus mit gutem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis

Von der Buchung über Check-In bis zum Check-Out hat alles gut geklappt. Super Kontakt zum Verwalter des Hauses vor Ort. Schönes Domizil in der Inselmitte gelegen. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Super für Taucher, da Trockengestell und Boxen vorhanden. Super, dass man einen SUV mit mieten kann. Preis-Leistung top!

Haus und Wagen in super Zustand. Alles hat genau den Ausführungen und Beschreibungen des Eigentümers entsprochen. Auch vor Ort toller Service. Jederzeit wieder in dieses Haus und zu diesem Vermieter!

Traumhaft schönen Urlaub gehabt in einem tollen Ferienhaus. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt & wenn dann wurde es über die Besitzer geregelt & eins zwei fix durch den vor Ort verantwortlichen Objektbetreuer erledigt

Perfect central location and comfortable environment

This property was what we hoped. It was nice and well-equipped, but also comfortable and laid-back. When we were awake, the natural breezes through the screens provided plenty of fresh air and the air conditioners in the bedrooms kept us comfortable overnight. The backyard was a private oasis and was mostly in the shade in the afternoon (including the pool), which was perfect for us so we didn't have to worry about applying more sunscreen. We especially loved watching the tropical birds come and go in the backyard. Having the SUV on-site was very handy and Friso was super reliable and friendly in getting us to and from the airport. The location was perfect as it was equal distance from both the Westpunt side of the island where the national parks are and the Willemstad side. Very near the house (within 10 minutes) are the nicest beaches- Cas Abao, Portomari, Coral Estate, and Daaibooi. We spent most of our time at Daaibooi. Also nearby is the Flamingo area and Williwood, which was especially fun for their BBQ and live music on Sunday night. Mike was very quick to answer all my questions leading up to and during the stay. We are glad we chose this place to stay.
