Aloha,

Welcome to my home away from home, a sun kissed, ocean front get-away in front of which the hump back whales breach and frolic in the winter while the sun shines and the trade winds gently blow throughout the year. Really. I lived on Maui for 10 years and some of my favorite memories are of enjoying my morning coffe (or evening cocktail) while lounging on the deck and watching the sun sparkle off the waves.

The Royal Kahana Resort is minutes away from world class shopping and fine dining in Ka'anapali and within walking distance to shops and restaurants at Kahana Gateway Shopping Center. The championship golf courses in Kapalua are a short drive to the north offering not only exceptional golfing, but charming restaurants as well.

Come visit us, whether to explore the island and all it's treasures or to sit on your private lanai, beverage of choice in hand, and get away from reality to appreciate the sounds and sights of paradise.

We consider this our home away from home. Fantastic location and the condo is just what we need for our stay. Beautiful views and the complex is great. The host, Karla, is amazing. We have already booked for next year!

Wonderful stay

Our stay was awesome. The absolutely highlight was the amazing view over the sea. We loved it and spent many hours at the balcony. Thank you for everything and the really easy check-in and check-out procedure. We will definitely recommend this appartment to our friends and family.

Great value, especially location and view!

Karla is great & very helpful! Perfect location, great wiews from balcony, where we spent most of our condo time. Comfortable bed and sitting area. Great shower. Small condo, great value, fine for 2 people.

Loved it.

This room was extremely clean, everything we needed and more was available in the room. The pillows and bed are very comfortable. We stayed nice and cool in the room. I'd stay here again!

Amazing view

We had a great stay. We had everything we needed at the condo. Very clean and the view was spectacular. Our host Karla was absolutely wonderful and did a great job communicating. We will definitely come back again.

Views are great!

Views are great from the apartment. Owner is quick to respond to any request and provided all the necessary information. Even though the beach is eroded, there is a connecting beach access from the property which was pretty convenient!

Good location, close to family, activities and shopping. Having a small kitchen and washer and dryer is always convenient. The view of the whales from the balcony was awesome. Will return again as a guest.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The view from the balcony is exactly as shown, and was wonderful to wake up to. Most mornings we could see whales while having our coffee. The location was very good with easy access to Kapalua, Kaanapali, and Lahaina. Karla provided all the necessary information for a stress free stay. We highly recommend her condo.

Perfect location!

We showed up after dark and couldn't see anything from our view but then we heard it! The ocean! Slept each night with the window wide open and let the ocean lull us to sleep. Woke up to the perfect view

LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!!! Top floor corner unit

The view is incredible….the space is great. We love the lanai. The room is spacious. The ensuite laundry is very convenient. Communication was great. I would highly recommend this place! It’s perfect tor 2 people. We loved it and would love to return.

Kahana Paradise!

This was our second stay in Karla’s condo and we have already booked 2 weeks next year. The unit has amazing views from the lanai and there is nothing better than falling asleep to the sound of the waves. It’s very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The complex itself is very well-maintained and has a great pool with plenty of chairs and a small workout room. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Beautiful view and magnificent sunsets!!

We loved this unit at the Royal Kahana! The place was immaculately clean. The view from the balcony was gorgeous as were the nightly sunsets over the neighboring islands. The pool area had plenty of chairs. The waves were great and fun to swim in. The beach is safe. The area near the unit was quiet at night and you could hear the ocean waves lull you to sleep!

Missing it already

This condo was a great base for our Maui adventures. We loved the location- easy to find with an incredible ocean view. Great for watching whales anytime of day! The condo was nicely furnished and had almost everything we needed. Only things we were lacking were a coffee pod maker and a pizza cutter, but we made do. Other than that, we were happy. Would definitely stay again.

Great Views but needs a few updates

This is the perfect little place for a couple. It had what we needed but could definitely update the kitchen, lighting, appliances, hair dryer. I would also suggest to add some beach chairs and boggie board to the property.

Great Kahana condo!

Excellent location, I've stayed at this building before. Quiet area and this condo had everything I needed. Check in process was smooth, the building employees were all very kind and courteous. My favorite part was that spectacular view from the lanai! I was watching the whales during the day and it was magical. Of course I was there during prime whale season. I imagine that during the summer the sunset views are probably ideal. Stay here, you won't regret it!

The view from the lanai is absolutely spectacular!!

The property is just as it is shown in the pictures. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 10 night stay. We never needed to contact the property manager during our stay. The appliances and lighting could use some updating. Really nice having laundry facilities right in our room. The location was perfect. With-in walking distance to groceries and restaurants.

PERFECT SPOT !

We stayed at this unit for 4 days and it was PERFECT for us ! It was just my husband and the unit worked out wonderfully. First off Karla (the owner) was in contact with us making sure our stay and the unit were up to our expectations and I have to say that it most definitely was. The property was very clean, there was a great little snack shack at the pool. All the amenities were very, very nice. As for the unit, there was nothing that I would change. Everything was all updated and remodeled, the kitchen was well stocked with whatever we needed to cook with. The closet was full of beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, etc. If I had one suggestion, it would be that the pool was a tad bit on the warm side but that was okay because the beach is twenty steps from the pool so we just jumped in the ocean !! There is no doubt that next time we are there, we will stay at this unit. Thanks so much Karla for sharing your nice little studio condo with us !

Great view but AC did not work properly

The good: The view is excellent The bad: We rented this unit because the listing said they had AC. The AC didn't work properly. We let the property owner know and she told us to call the managment company. We called and they sent someone out. They said the AC needed repair and AC tech. The property owner sent us a message apologizing but said she couldn't get an AC tech within the next 2 weeks. That wasn't acceptable and I let her know. She offered no concessions.

Nice condo, but....

We just returned from a 13 night stay here and while the condo was nicely decorated, I was disappointed with several things. First, I was quite upset that the wireless internet was only available to guests for $10/day or weekly/monthly rates after I was led to believe was included and avaiable with the unit. Secondly, on most nights, I was unable to take an evening bath since there was such a lack of hot water. I finally had to boil/microwave water in order to take a tepid bath. :-( (Also had to do dinner dishes most nights without hot water!). I was also disappointed with the quality and quantity of cookware and utensils. The coffee pot lid was broken and poured onto my hands more than once and only one large frypan which all the teflon coating is worn off for cooking. Sadly, since it rained 11 of the 13 days, we spent more time in the condo than usually would have so would have appreciated at least one brighter light for reading since lighting was lovely but not good for older eyes! We come to Maui every year, and for the price it was a nice little studio with good view in a great area, however I would probably not stay again.

Thank you for your feedback Tamara. Though wi-fi was not free when the building first installed it, it is now available at no charge. Also, thanks to your comments, any missing or broken items have been replaced. My on-site management company is available to address your concerns immediately which is why I include their local phone number on your confirmation letter. I fell in love with Maui the first time I visited the island - so much so that I stayed for 10 years. I got a job in the visitor industry that allowed me to see paradise up close and personal. I've flown over waterfalls, biked down Haleakala crater, swam off the black sand beach and dove at Molokini. Although I've moved back to my home in Seattle, WA, I fly back to my island home every year to take a deep breath and feel the aloha.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

When I travel to Maui, my goals are sun and relaxation. I have recently remodeled my unit to create an open, breezy, island style atmosphere and to take total advantage of the ocean view. I can watch whales from my private lanai in the winter and enjoy the colorful sails of the windsurfers in the summer. There's no better place to feel the aloha.
