Information on Using the Vacation Rental To ensure that you and future guests can enjoy a pleasant and hassle-free stay, prevent damage, and ensure a smooth transition between guests, we kindly ask that you observe the following guidelines: • Pets are not allowed. • The entire property is non-smoking; the balcony or terrace may be used for smoking. Any violation of this rule (this also applies to smoking “by the window”!) will result in immediate termination of the rental agreement, with no refund of the rental fee and a cleaning fee of at least €2,000. • Towels are changed weekly—we will place clean towels in the laundry basket outside your apartment door. Please exchange the towels and leave the basket with the used towels outside your apartment door. • Bed linens are changed every 14 days—we will notify you personally one day before the change or post a notice on the information board in the hallway. • Please close the windows when leaving during the cold season. • Please turn the circulation pump switch (located behind the apartment entrance door) on before using hot water and off afterward. For the sake of the environment! • Blankets, sofa cushions, etc., may not be taken outside from the apartment. • Please do not rearrange the furniture in the vacation rental. • Please do not dry laundry inside the apartment; instead, use the laundry room in the basement. • Please be mindful not to disturb others, for example, while watching TV or sitting on the patio or balcony. Whenever possible, please observe the midday quiet hours from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and the general quiet hours after 10:00 p.m. • Please do not dispose of or flush grease, food scraps, or other materials down the toilet, urinal, or sink, and please do not use harmful chemicals such as chlorine or similar substances in the vacation rental. • Please use trash bags in the trash bins and sort your waste according to the following categories: Glass—collection bins in the basement—we’ll take care of disposal! Recyclables (plastic, cans, plastic wrap, etc.) go in the yellow bag—collection bins in the basement; paper—blue bin; compost (no diapers, no meat!)—brown bin; general waste—gray bin. • Use of the property’s bicycles is at your own risk. • Baking paper must be used when using the oven. • The tenant is liable for all damage to the vacation rental and to the property grounds. The tenant is also liable for any accompanying guests or co-tenants. All damage must be reported immediately. Any existing damage must be reported at check-in. • Downloading paid content from the Internet is not permitted and may result in criminal prosecution. • The tenant is not permitted to sublet the rental property to third parties without the landlord’s written consent. • On the day of departure, the apartment must be vacated, swept clean, and the trash cans emptied before it is returned, so that the vacation rental can continue to be rented out in the future without an additional end-of-stay cleaning fee.
