Waikiki Condo - Ocean View - Minutes from the Beach!

Aloha and thank you for checking out your home away from home in the heart of Waikiki within minutes to the beach!

You will be located in room 1630 on the 16th floor of an oceanfront condo that gives you access to a beautiful ocean view right from your own private and spacious balcony (called lanai in Hawaii). The balcony has a nice large dining table w/ 4 chairs to view the ocean while enjoying your meal. You will also have front row seats to a weekly Friday fireworks display right from the comfort of your own balcony!

The modern condo is about 620 sq.ft. (including the 120 sq.ft. balcony) and can accommodate 4 adults. The condo is fully equipped with a queen size bed and a double size sofa. A full-size modern kitchen with a granite counter, a full size refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, pots & pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, and more for your in-room cooking and dining pleasure.

The bathroom has a granite covered wall shower stall w/ removable shower head. Hair dryer, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and 100% cotton towels are provided for our guests.

The condo comes equipped with:

• 40” LCD flat screen TV, cable TV
• free WIFI and hi-speed internet
• air conditioning and ceiling fan
• laundry facility down the hallway
• extra towels, pillows, linen, blanket,
• and 2 beach chairs, a portable cooler and beach towels provided for our guests

You will find yourself in the heart of the action with tons of restaurants and shopping, all nearby! They include:

• minutes’ walk to Waikiki Beach!
• minutes’ walk to fun-filled family activities at a salt water lagoon (viewable from your balcony) where children and adult alike can enjoy a tranquil wade or swim or try out an aqua-cycle or a stand-up paddle
• less than a mile away from Ala Moana Center, the world’s largest open-air shopping center with over 350 stores, including more than 160 dining options!
• less than a mile away from “Luxury Row,” with access to high end shopping and many international food options on friendly, festive and walk-able Kalakaua Ave.
• less than 2 miles from the Honolulu Zoo and Aquarium
• the condo itself boasts two swimming pools, coffee shop and café, and a local favorite, Dave’s Hawaiian Ice Cream.

There is parking on the lots behind the hotel, on the streets and valet parking. Street parking is also behind the building from 4am-10:30pm. Valet service, for a 24hr period, is currently $45 with unlimited in and out privileges.

This is a studio with a solid wall division making it a really nice 1 bedroom apartment. Super clean, updated kitchen, bathroom is great, no complaints at all. The view from the balcony is more of a side view to see the ocean but it’s still a great view, even more so for Friday fireworks. Let’s face it, if your spending to much time on the balcony your not experiencing Hawaii. We used it for enjoying a cup of coffee at sunsets and a drink capping the night. The host answered all messages immediately even late at night. We grew up on Oahu, we have family on the island still, not much room in their homes, so this was a perfect place for us to spend the holidays with family and friends.

This property is in a great location, right in the middle of downtown and beach. The view is gorgeous! Lots of good restaurants in the area. Although we enjoyed our 7 day stay, the property could have been cleaner (a bit dusty, shower looked partially clean, poorly cleaned floors). We initially walked barefoot around the unit until we realized the bottoms of our feet were black. I am not exaggerating. They were black. I cleaned the floors to make things better, but we mostly wore socks or flip flops when we were in the room. At the onset, we noticed the AC unit was not cooling properly, and slept uncomfortably the first 2 nights. But, the host was quick to get things checked out and always kept us in the know about AC repairs. Since parts needed to be ordered, the host brought in a portable AC unit which was a lifesaver. One caveat was the runoff condensation had to be monitored and water dumped every couple of hours when we were in the unit. Because of the AC issue, the property owner refunded us for 3 nights, so that was a bonus and we were very thankful for the discount for the trouble we went through to keep the AC going. If the AC had been working properly from the beginning, my husband and I probably would not have had any issues. We could have dealt with the dust and floors. The lanai has pigeon poop in several places. I took a couple of the beach chairs to the shower and scrubbed them clean so we could use them at the beach. Host is awesome! Location is awesome!

Recommend but be awareThe good. The view is beautiful. You can only see the ocean from half of the balcony. The hotel lobby is maintained like a 4 star. The location is very convenient Pool ,Lagoon and beach is easily accessible The valet was superb even though its pricey. It was worth it. Also the fountain sounds from the Hilton made it even more relaxing. Also got to see the Hilton Laua from balconyThe so so. The room is too small for 4 adults. The sofa is too small. Its really a studio with a wall. No doors for privacy. Room was clean. Everything supplied as expected except for bath towels. We only got 1 for 4 people. We did get 4 pool towels. But what really made this a 3 experience vs a 4. Is their is one main AC For the entire unit. For privacy when the curtains were closed to the bedroom. It became unbearable hot. So we had to utilize fans in the bedrooms at night (which was in the unit) We visited in July.

The condo was perfect for us. I slept on futon which was very comfortable. The view to the lagoon was actually closer than thought and fireworks were wonderful. Very convenient to bus and stores. Contrary to other comments there were no bugs and very quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

This place would've been worth the cost if it had been clean. We've traveled all over the world and for the price point, this location was the most dirty. We contacted Brad about it and he did send a cleaning crew to resolve some of the more blatantly disgusting issues. Thank goodness. Otherwise, this place would've been unbearable.

Great view but couldn't use the lanai.

We stayed a week in this unit. Location is fantastic, close to everything. The biggest disappointment was the lanai. We booked specifically for the view. It was so filthy that we couldn't sit out and enjoy it. There was a "huge" pile of bird droppings, (lots of pigeons) in the far right corner that was right in line with the view of the lagoon. There were also water items/toys that were covered with the bird droppings therefore you couldn't use them...It is terribly gross and unsanitary. This lanai hasn't been cleaned in months!!! Kitchen had only two coffee cups. The sample size dish soap was watered down so badly we had to buy our own in order to wash our dishes upon leaving. The door lock was a little tough to get to lock at times, the instructions were not clear but that was figured out immediately which was appreciated upon checking in. We don't mean to be picky but the filthy lanai was terribly gross, not useable, and it needs to be cleaned.

Great location, super clean and with lots of amenities in the building

Right on Wakiki beach Great cafe for breakfast or a meal when you don’t want to travel. You will have to use valet parking but it’s worth it. Half hour to Pearl, fifteen minutes to Diamond Head, walk to whale watching or turtle snorkeling. Overall A plus!

Waikiki Ocean View -Steps to beach

We stayed in this Ilikai unit for 3 weeks in January 2025. Brad was an excellent host in providing check-in and other information on a timely basis.Unit is very clean and reasonably equipped with kitchen appliances, pots/pans and plates/bowls. Could use a few more pieces of cutlery. Bathroom is nice and shower pressure is excellent. Lots of good quality towels. Beach chairs and flutter boards are available for use.Location is fabulous….short walk to beach, Ala Moana Mall and downtown restaurants. Great for morning walks at Ala Moana park.Would definitely return….thanks Brad!!!

Wonderful Waikiki

Beautiful location. The resort is central with many restaurants close by. We really enjoyed the on site restaurants and having a market in the building. The pool is enjoyable and heated:-) Nice lication

Great location and an excellent host

Brad's place was in an excellent location and the apartment was comfortable and well equipped. He was responsive and accommodating. Marina parking garage is just around the corner and can be accessed directly by going through the pool area of the next door Modern hotel and the overpass, it's all linked. Overnight parking there was 33. There's also outdoor hourly (1/hr) parking at the marina. We didn't use the valet at the hotel. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location - Love the Ilikai

The location of this condo is great! You are right next to the beach, the lagoon, Ala Moana Mall, Waikiki Beaches, Friday Night Fireworks! Manager has good communication. We love staying at the Ilikai. Ad pictures are nicer than condo. This unit is a little rough and needs some minor updating. Bathroom exhaust vent does not work. Ceiling fan broken. Shower curtain is short and water leaks on to floor. For the right price, this is still a great condo!

Not so comfortable

After checking in a day we found several bugs, roaches I think crawling everywhere in the condo, the manager sent someone to fix the issue but the bugs are still there.

Better than the listing!

We stayed for a week at the end of May 2024 and loved this apartment ! The view from the balcony is beautiful and front row for Friday fireworks. The apartment feels bigger than the photos in the listing make it look and was absolutely spotless on our arrival. We had no problem with the elevators .. they were busy at times as you'd expect but there is also a bathers elevator which is a great backup if you don't want to wait. There are always ubers within 5 minutes of the apartment and plenty of restaurants within walking distance (recommend Goofy's and Gangnam Korean BBQ which are both just outside the front door and also breakfast in Pesca's on the top floor of the building). Beach is an easy walk and the pool is a great place to relax. We were very sad to leave !

Door key assistance

Information prior to check in on how the key lock for entry would have been helpful. Ended up contacting the property manager for assistance to get in. More washcloths would also have been appreciated.

Perfect location for us

The location was perfect for us. Very short walk to the beach and everything you needed was provided. Great view from the balcony of the Hilton luau and Fireworks. The valet was very quick and professional and worth the price for the convenience. The laundry room was convenient. The host Brad was very responsive and unit was just as described.

We came for a purpose to see Pearl Harbor and to relax This place has a great view of the water and is very easy to get to, the host is great to deal with and just a great experience overall .

Wonderful location with all the necessary amenities

The Condo had all of the amenities and was a great spot to lay our heads after a day of beach tours throughout the entire island of Oahu. It was very easy to access by car and the beaches and amenities of the Ilalani are right there at your disposal. Use the Valet, they were very easy and extremely professional for $45 a day it was well worth the spend. The only challenge was an elevator issue that they were dealing with the week we were there. Day 1 was by far the worst but it presented a challenge throughout the entire trip with every owner, renter and hotel guest showing deep frustration. Brad (host) was very accessible and offered every option he could, to support us during our visit. I 100% will stay here again if we come back as a couple. Thank you Brad for your amazing support during a challenge that you had no control of!
