Pioneer Cabin was built in 1865 and was relocated from the Holy Ghost Lutheran Church property in 2018. The cozy cabin accommodates 2 people comfortably with a queen size bed, a large bathroom and a nicely stocked kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator and toaster oven. The cabin is decorated with period antiques while providing all the modern comforts. Wi-fi and a streaming TV are provided inside for staying in touch with the world. The outdoor firepit, patio seating and grill allow for enjoying the private yard space. Please note that the driveway is shared access between Pioneer Haus at the front of the property and Pioneer Cabin at the back of the driveway. There is a fence with a gate to provide privacy between the two units.
The property is directly across the street from the Pioneer Museum and also across the street from St. Mary's Catholic Church making it very convenient for anyone attending events at either of these popular destinations. Pioneer Cabin is very walkable to all of Main Street with a myriad of restaurants, shops and event venues. One block to Main Street means you can park your car on property and never have to look for a parking space in town! Have dinner at one of the many restaurants and enjoy an easy stroll home. Back at the cabin, luxuriate in the top tier linens on the comfortable bed.
