Beautiful views in a country property away from the Hub Bub! Our hosts were very attentive and we had a great July 4th weekend..... and then a few days for a smaller gathering to reinvigorate before returning home. A car is a must. We hope to return!

Our overall experience was wonderful. Everything we wanted to see and visit was at least 20 minutes away, which we loved. Our host Haven and Dan were excellent. They were very responsive and they made sure we had an awesome experience on the Vineyard. The cleanliness of the home was good and WiFi worked well. 2 thumbs up from 6 ladies from Chicago.

This pet-friendly farm was ideal for our family vacation! The hot tub was a hit, and you can’t beat the view from almost every room in the house. We loved visiting the horses and chickens, taking hikes along the trails right near the house and playing in the large yard. The beds were comfy and the hosts were helpful and quick to respond. We would absolutely stay here again!

House was in a great location with everything you could possibly want/need. Our kids had a blast walking over to see the horses and the ability to get a parking pass to the beach was a great perk. Thanks for a lovely stay!

We loved our stay at Sanctuary Farm! The house is so cozy with amazing views and beautiful touches. Haven and Dan were very responsive, kind and even left us goodies from the farm, wine and wood for the fireplace. I highly recommend staying there if you get the chance. We'd love to come back one day!

My family loved the location and beautiful views. The house is an expanded Cape with three smaller bedrooms upstairs that share a small bathroom, plus a larger primary bedroom with an attached bath. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows, bedding, and towels could use a refresh.One challenge was the older upstairs area, where the window AC units were not properly sealed. As a result, quite a few bugs made their way into the bedrooms and bathroom. A vacuum was provided, which helped, but it was still unsettling, especially for some members of our group.Another inconvenience was the water filtration system, which cycled during the night restricting the flow of any water. Not being able to flush toilets or use water normally at night was unexpected and made things less convenient for our group.The outdoor space was our favorite feature. We really enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and outdoor shower. Access to Lambert's Cove Beach was another great perk, although the pass only allows walk-on access. If you're visiting during peak season, plan on using Uber or paying for parking. We visited during the off-season and were fortunate to find parking available.Overall, we had a nice stay and appreciated the location and outdoor amenities. Unfortunately, the home did not feel as clean or well-maintained as we had hoped, so while we enjoyed our visit, we would not choose to stay here again.

Beautiful and comfortable home with spectacular views. Very attentive hosts that have a sanctuary for geriatric horses. Need I say more? A very special place.

Magical

Beautiful ocean views, comfy beds, and a fully equipped kitchen: What more could you ask for? Our stay at Sanctuary Farmhouse was simply perfect.

Memorial Day weekend wedding on the vineyard

Property was as presented and the attention to detail throughout the house to ensure we enjoyed the stay was noticed and appreciated! Will definitely recommend Dan and Havens Sanctuary Farm to others!

Weekend stay

Our short stay was lovely. The home was great, comfortable and well cared for. The animals were great, and our son loved visiting with the horses and chickens. Great hosts and a fantastic spot. Hope to come back.

Best house on MV

We love this house! And have stayed multiple times. Always spotless! Wonderful kitchen. Always easy communication. Great views of the sunset over the water and a quiet location. Our go to Vineyard escape.

Tranquil and restorative location. Ac in all rooms. Modern kitchen. Entire interior appears recently updated. Nicely isolated property giving you lots of privacy. The only other companions on the property are two horses, a pony, and chickens!I’d go back without question.

Beautiful water view on a working farm MV

This property is as advertised. A perfect mix between old architecture and modern amenities. The water view faces west, so it’s a great place to relax after a day of adventure on the island and watch the sunset. Hosts were responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous property in a wonderful location

We had the best possible stay at Sanctuary Farm with our three kids. Dan and Haven are the kindest, warmest hosts, and the house is beautiful. Our kids loved seeing the animals every day and riding bikes down the quiet roads. The location next to hiking trails and with water views can't be beat. An absolute gem, and we will be back!

The Get Away!

We had an amazing time at the Sanctuary! The view to the ocean is out of this world. Saw an amazing sunset over the ocean. Loved the fresh eggs and the wine that Dan and Haven left us. Very sweet touch. Would highly recommend this house.

Gorgeous Home and Location!

We loved our stay at the Sanctuary House. The house itself was so beautiful - it had the farmhouse feel with modern touches and appliances. The view off the back deck was amazing and we enjoyed a lot of our time out there. We loved having the horses and chickens out front to say hi to as we came and left! We hope to come back and enjoy another stay at this lovely property!

Just the best

It truly is a sanctuary. Our family was thrilled to be back and can’t wait to plan our next trip! Haven and Dan are the most wonderful hosts, the house is perfect and has everything you could want. And the location can’t be beat - ocean views, quiet, and miles of gorgeous walking trails right out the door! It’s a truly special place.
