Our home is in a quiet neighborhood of West Bay, close to 7-mile beach, Camana bay; approximately 4 minutes away from famous horseback riding, ATV bikes, Adventure, Snorkeling, Divetech, Sundivers, Car Museum, Dolphin Cove, and Turtle Farm. The house is on a bus stop route with restaurants and supermarkets just 3 minutes away. Easy access to popular attractions will give you everything you need for the perfect tropical getaway! You will have a private entrance, kitchenette with microwave, cooktop, fridge, coffeemaker, toaster oven, and a small dining place. Our home is comfortable, and we are happy to share with our guest's excellent hospitality (Caymankind).

This unit, while off the 7 mile beach, was well suited to my quick Cayman stay. With all due respect, I would suggest the host switch to an unscented laundry detergent.

Wonderful Experience

I truly enjoyed my stay. The location was clean, quiet and accessible to public transportation. I've never been to the GCM and I'm delighted that I chose Imperial Suites for my stay. The Ricketts are phenomenal hosts who went overboard to ensure they met any needs i had.

It was an amazing stay! The hosts are wonderful people — they responded quickly and did everything they could to make our trip the best. They even provided beach chairs and an umbrella, which was so thoughtful. We’re truly grateful for such a warm welcome. The place had everything we needed — kitchen essentials, a small stove, and more. It was very clean room. The neighborhood felt very safe. In the evenings, we enjoyed walking around and meeting friendly local people. It's close to everything: SMB, restaurants and stores. Highly recommend!

Very nice!

Accommodations were adequate, clean and great for 2 people. Robert and Diane were excellent with communication and ideas for things to do and places to dine. If you are looking for a quiet suite away from seven mile beach, this is the place! Highly recommend! Thanks for everything!

The Ricketts were excellent hosts and their generosity made my birthday weekend that much more special. I didn’t drive on Cayman and they very generously drove me to a couple of excursions and to the airport. Although the public transportation system was decent and affordable, I would still recommend a rental car. I would not hesitate to book with them again: Truly above and beyond.

We had wonderful stay at the Cayman Imperial Suites. Dianne was an excellent hostess! Definitely would return in the future to this property. One word of advice would be to rent a car for your vacation on Grand Cayman.

We had a very nice 3-night stay at the Imperial Suite. The room was great, very clean and supplied with everything needed for a short stay. Would definitely return if we get back to Cayman. The Ricketts were wonderful hosts!

Quaint and Cozy

The Ricketts' property was quaint, cozy and clean with a very comfortable bed. The apt had everything I needed with no issues. It was perfect me. The communication process was flawless before and during my whole trip and they are VERY accommodating. The location of the property is not far from restaurants, food stores, beaches and shopping. I highly recommend this property!! Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Ricketts!!!!!

Great!

Excellent spot! The room was fantastic, everything you could need for a "launching pad" into Cayman. Great furnishings and very comfortable. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The only odd thing was the place wasn't where i thought based on the vrbo map. But this was my first time using Vrbo so perhaps that's just how the app works? Even so, fantastic spot! i would definitely stay here again!

Great location in West Bay

Originally, we were looking for a place near Georgetown, near the airport and Pickleball Caymans. This place came up with VRBO description of 3 minutes to Georgetown port and 10 minutes to the airport. So, we initially thought it was in Georgetown but after further check, the location and reviews clearly say West Bay which is north of the 7 mile beach. After staying there, we were happy that the location is in West Bay which is close to many good restaurants, close to the 7 mile beach area, and not that far from the airport and Pickleball Caymans where we played pickleball. The room was clean, the neighborhood was safe, and it was very convenient to get around as long as you have a car. The listing indicated washer but you have to request laundry service in order to wash your clothes (not a problem for us). Most of all, we appreciated the super fast responses to any questions we had about the location, restaurants, places to go, etc. We had no problems at all during our stay. Parking is conveniently located in front of the room.

Snorkel vacation

The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They are also warm very kind. They respond quickly to any questions and offer suggestions for where to go for sights and meals. The host even picked me up and dropped me off at the airport. I would suggest getting a car. Things aren’t as close or easily accessible. I enjoyed my stay with them.

Great place for short term stays

Host provided excellent directions to this West Bay residential neighborhood rental and gave great recommendations for area attractions and restaurants. Unit was comfortable for 2 but only for a few days (no laundry). Bed and bathroom were wonderful while kitchen was small. Barkers Nature Preserve had a few isolated beaches (very nice) but road was, unfortunately, unpaved with pot holes.

Cayman Imperial Suite

The apartment is just as pictured. Very cute, updated & clean. They bed is soo comfortable! Beach chairs & beach towels were provided which was an added bonus. The apartment is in a neighborhood & close to a bus stop. I decided to rent a car & was so glad I did. The beach isn’t as close as I thought. The Roberts were so helpful & checked in with us several times via texts. They offered many suggestions for restaurants & activities & even close local restaurants & grocery stores. I reached out to them when I had questions & they replied quickly & were very attentive. Couldn’t have asked for better owners. I will definitely recommend this apartment to friends & would stay here again.

Great little place but you need a car!

The listing was exactly as described. Great, clean, functional 1 bed 1 bath apartment with a small kitchenette. No issues at all and slept well most nights. TV had Neftlix and worked well when it was raining or whatnot. It is located about off of West Bay Rd. We had a car so it was no issue for us but if you tried to rent this with the intention of walking to 7 mile beach you will be disappointmented. The best way to hit the beach from here is to have a rental car, grab the two awesome beach chairs they provide you, stop by a shop to get some drinks & ice that you can store in the back of the chairs, and park at Governer's beach and relax! Free and absolutely incredible area of the world. I actually watched a sea turtle snacking by just swimming from the beach with my snorkle gear. Unbelievable! The other downside is the neighbor, which is an at home boat repair shop, has two dogs that LOVE to bark and bark loudly. White noise from our phone muted most of it but still can be pretty annoying. Not much the owner of this property can do about that though.
