Loved the Golden Tee in the Room! Everything was 5 Stars except the bedding and pillows. not sure I've ever slept on pillows that terrible.

The condo was clean and comfy and we loved the location. It felt very private and serene and the resort facilities were great. We’ll certainly be back.

Great for our family!

We had such a relaxing, comfortable time here. Communication was fantastic, and we had everything we needed for a fun weekend.

Cute little place. The elevator was not working when we were there but we made do. Loved the amenities we were at the pool almost every day.

This place is way out there noone delivers here, walmart is 30 min away and the local retaurants are so plan accordingly. I rented this property because of the pools and lazy river, they dont tell you that everyone over 2yo must pay 25 tax to access the club house or the pools. Our condo was pretty clean but there was sand in the bottom of the shower and bathtubs.

Pointe West is a lovely resort located on the west end of the island and is great for those seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle. We do have in our listing a map with location. Also listed is the beach club resort fee of $25 per person 4 and over. We look forward to hosting you!

Excellent accommodation that has great touches. Table on back porch is great. The arcade game was super fun for our son. Kitchen decently stocked. Nice decor. Everything worked as advertised, which is nice. Great location. We will hope to stay there again!

The host was great, but the amenities were somewhat lacking. When we entered, the place was very musty smelling with several dead roaches on the floor! Looked as if nobody had been there for quite a while!

We appreciate your stay and feedback. Though off season our rentals are inspected weekly and since at a coastal community, treated for any unwanted guests. Had you contacted us during your stay we would have more than happy to address any issues. We haven't had feedback of this sort. Summer Beach Trip

We loved the location of the Pointe West complex. The house unit is really close to the second boardwalk of the property. It was not crowded at all, so it was a nice peaceful getaway. We enjoyed the pools- the one at the beach club is great and has bar/ food service. The lazy river pool down the road was nice to have a second option. The Sol Searching condo was wonderful! Beds slept really well. The living room was perfect for our family of 5. We spent most of our time out on the patio- it was spacious, had a great view of the ocean over the dunes, and the weather/ wind was perfect. The kitchen was just right since we brought premade meals. Washer dryer combo worked well. Everyone was very friendly and the whole complex was well kept. We also had a great time walking our dog around at night. We had a wonderful time and it was perfect for our family pup.

Great stay but $ definitely adds up

Location was great, private beach feel, easy walk to beach over the dune walk, and condo was clean and very well appointed (a mixing bowl or other large bowl would have been nice, but otherwise kitchen had all that you might need to cook for a family). The Beach Club and other amenities were also clean and very nice, but do know that all of these amenities listed are EXTRA $. $15 a guest to use amenities (good for the duration of your stay). Game room at the beach club is great, but be prepared to pay for everything you rent, every time you want to rent it (i.e. ping pong paddles, pool cues, etc...). Also, very little shade at the Beach Club, it gets hot but the water was consistantly cool 😊 Make sure you bring all the food, etc... you might want as you are 30 min from town with only 1 store 10 min from the resort and every item there costs twice as much as it would in town. Definitely would stay again !

Thank you for your review of the beautiful and perfectly located Sol Searching. You can be beach or pool side in minutes. We are glad you found our rental in tip top shape! We try to think of everything so while you are "home" you may relax and enjoy. I hope you were able to catch some amazing gulf breezes and sunrises from our spacious and private balcony; they are simply the best! In regard to The Beach Club and their amenities, we do note on our listing that if you wish to use those facilities there is a $15 per person, per stay charge for guests 4 and up. The Beach, walking trails and fishing ponds for example are open to all guests, complimentary. The Beach Club is a separate business and we have no control over their pricing and policies. They do have two beautiful pool areas, a well-equipped gym and game room as well as changing and shower facilites. I have shared your feedback with them. The community of Pointe West is 20miles from the "tourist" zone of Galveston. Guests choose the area to escape the traffic and crowds. Out here you will find an uncrowded, clean and spacious beach, beautiful scenery, local birds and quiet. Perfect for couple, family and friends to get away and make memories together without spending a lot of money in the "tourist" zone. Perfect vacation place !

We enjoyed this beautiful location and all the amenities. Being on the private beach made us feel like we were the only ones there. The condo had everything we needed! The bedrooms and bathrooms were very roomy. The decorations were professionally done! We loved eating outside on the balcony with the large kitchen table and chairs. We used the George Forman grill provided. Our preteens enjoyed the game room, upstairs from the infinity pool. They also got in the habit of getting an ice cream from the cart outside the restaurant. We swam in the pool morning, noon and night. The only downfall was our last night, the mosquitoes attacked us. We were eaten up all over our body! We had not experienced any Mosquities the other days we were there. I’m glad we didn’t have to deal with that. This trip was great!

A well stocked and beautifully decorated vacation rental that brings the outside ocean views in and radiates peace and relaxation. Close to both the pool and beach club for fun in the sun. Sounds like you enjoyed all the fun Pointe West offers and then some. Mosquitos on a occassion will rear their ugly heads here, the county does a aerial spray weekly as well as the community sprays, both normally keeps them away. We hope you will come again soon!
