Welcome to Poseidon's Getaway - A retreat that's perfect for six gods and goddesses. Our beach house is centrally located in the heart of the Outer Banks, offering easy access to the beach and sound. Less than one mile away, you can sink your toes into the sand and soak up the sun, while enjoying the sound of the waves. Just a quarter-mile away, you can immerse yourself in the serene beauty of the sound and enjoy the stunning sunsets.

The two-story beach house is designed with an open concept that allows for an abundance of natural light to stream in through our elegant French doors. With a cozy and stylish interior, you'll feel relaxed and at ease as soon as you enter. Take advantage of our outdoor hot tub for a day of ultimate relaxation and afterwards, wash off those sandy feet in our outdoor shower.

Fabulous Weekend Rental

The rental was super clean, beautiful furniture and accessories. TVs in every room were a plus! Hot tub was a great way to relax after a day of touring. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay honestly.

Peaceful Getaway

We had a wonderful four-day stay. The home was extremely clean and well organized, and communication with Emanuel was exceptional and accommodating. The weather was not cooperative, but a movie theatre was nearby, so we saw Mission Impossible-Dead Recking.

OBX Lovers

The house was clean, cozy, well organized and convenient for everything we needed. We were so comfortable, the only thing we went out to buy was ice cream. The neighborhood was perfect - far enough from the main highway that we didn’t hear any kind of traffic or disturbances, but still only a few minutes from the beach. The jacuzzi and grill were the cherry on top. We loved our stay and definitely plan to return!

Girlfriends Weekend

My girlfriend and I stayed for the weekend and it was exactly what we expected and wanted. A place that wasn’t too large for two people but gave us each some room to move. Centrally located and bery clean.

Doesn't Disappoint

Everything about our stay was perfect!! The location was close to just about any store you could need. The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! Would definitely stay again!

Time to catch up

I stayed with my best friend and her husband. Property is in a fairly quiet neighborhood and beautifully decorated. We were very comfortable there. Our only complaints were that the water pressure and temperature for showers could be improved. Everything else was wonderful!! We will definitely go back!

The Perfect Vacation Home

First stay in there outer banks!

We had a fabulous vacation. The house is conveniently located with access to the bike path and a very short drive to the beach, dining, and shopping! The hosts were excellent and very responsive for the minor problems we encountered which were promptly resolved.

Perfect for families!

Poisedon’s getaway was perfect for our family of five! The home was extra clean, beds were very comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. Emanuel was a wonderful host, replied very quickly to any messages. Just a short walk to the sound to see amazing sunsets. We would absolutely recommend!

Was a great place to stay

Check in process was easy, place was super clean, how was super responsive. only suggestion would be to provide a few more towels, we just had to continue washing towels for the week. Fridge was not working however unplugged and plugged back in was working. However place was great and host took care of everything!

Family Vacation

Overall this is a very lovely property! Very clean and inviting. With five adults and one child we had plenty of room. Very comfortable beds and location was perfect. If you wanted and were capable you could walk to the beach only took like 15 minutes. If by car it was only a few minutes. We all had no complaints and hope to stay again in the future! Thank you for sharing your home!

Thoughtful host

We had a delightful time in spite of uncertain weather. Our grandson's special plushes were left behind accidentally, but when we contacted the host he quickly when to the house and retrieved them for us and will mail them to our grandson. We are so appreciative.

Great Getaway

Birthday Celebration Celebration for my birthday and pre-retirement getaway. Second time staying at the property. The Owner/Property Manager is very tentative to my needs during my stay (if/when) needed. Excellent customer service!

Paradise at the Poseidon

The property, location, and owners exceeded any and all expectations. The property and its contents are in immaculate condition – bedding; bathrooms; you name it - are spotless! Quiet neighborhood in close proximity to sunsets on the sound, quiet family time on the beach, and restaurants and shopping. The owners are exceptionally responsive and accommodating. I am already looking at the calendar for another stay in the fall.

Poseidon's Great getaway

House is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Were a little disappointed in available cookware- would've liked to have cooked some local fresh seafood but only provided with 2 small pans, especially since nearby restaurants don't take reservations and wait time was an hour and a half or more. Overall very happy!

One step above a hotel

Beds were comfortable & repair response to A/C failure was quick but needed softer/nicer towels & more than 1 per person for the whole week. No tissues, trash bags, laundry soap, dishwasher soap & only 1 roll toilet paper per bath for the week. Needed non-skid rugs in baths, and black-out shades in the upstairs bedrooms. A more comfortable sofa would have been nice.

Girls trip

If you’re thinking about renting this house, do it! You will not be disappointed! Like the other reviews mentioned, this house is so clean. The seller always responded within minutes of sending a message. One bedroom with king bed, one bathroom and laundry room are down stairs. The other 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, and living room are upstairs. The seller has bistro lights around porch rails so arriving after dark helped us see. I will rent again!

Hi there, my name is Emanuel, and I’m a proud host on VRBO. I’ve called the Outer Banks home since 2015. I have a passion for audio/video and IT work, which I do here on the beach. Additionally, I run a local and airport transportation business.

I have a rich cultural background, with roots in Romania and a childhood spent in the Italian Alps. I’m excited to share my love for this area with you.

Our rental property is located in the heart of the Outer Banks and offers some of the most stunning sunsets you’ll ever see, just down the road. I’m lucky to have my best friend, J, as my co-host. J and his family have lived in the Outer Banks for 30 years, and he brings a wealth of local knowledge and experience to our hosting endeavors.

Together, J and I are dedicated to providing our guests with the best possible experience during their stay. We are confident that you will love your time here, and we can’t wait to host you soon!

At the front of our neighborhood, you’ll find a Wawa gas station and convenience store for all your immediate needs, as well as a Target store for more extensive shopping and a movie theater. A variety of stores and restaurants are just a mile away, offering plenty of options for dining and entertainment.
