Welcome to Royal Fortune!

Our beautifully-decorated home is on a private street with 4BR/4.5BA. Includes porches in the front and back (screened), plus a balcony. Inside is a large fully equipped kitchen with gas range and stainless steel fixtures. Master on the first floor with spacious bathroom (double sink, glass door shower and soaker tub). Three bedrooms on second floor, each with their own bathroom. Landing on second floor is a great place to relax and read, look at the NOAA maps and vintage encyclopedias and take yourself to another time and place.

The private salt water pool is perfect to take a dip in on a hot Georgia day or relax on the lounge chairs. Rinse off in the outdoor shower after a trip to East beach. Attached garage includes some games to pass the time. We are a 10 minute bike ride to the beach. On the way you'll pass Ocean Motion which has bike, kayak rentals and Crabdaddys which has amazing food, and the historic King & Prince Resort. Approximately 0.9 miles to the Village which features restaurants, bars and shops.

2 Dogs under 50 lbs. welcome for a pet fee of $150 for one and $225 for two.

Really enjoyed the house and the location. The small pool was great. Did have reports from the people staying upstairs that the water pressure was very low in the bathrooms on the second floor. We also missed having a blender. But mostly a well furnished kitchen. Would definately recommend this house and would rent again.

This is an amazing home. Located on a short dead end road with very few homes, very quiet. The house is very clean, well designed and spacious. The bed in the master was very comfortable, the master bath and shower is amazing. The kitchen had a good amount of pots, pans, utensils, cups, dishes and silverware. The master is on the main, and three guest beds with their own baths upstairs were fantastic ( although we did not use). The pool, while on the smaller side was a great place to hang out on a hot summer day with some shade from the bamboo and screened in porch to avoid the blazing sun at certain times of the day. The apartments behind the house do have a view into the pool area, but they all have their blinds closed and we never once felt as if we were being watched. There are small side yards on both sides of the house with pine straw for a dog to hang out that aren’t in the pictures, and we felt it was very secure. The home is a 2-5 minute drive to 3 beach areas, and easily accessible on a bike or golf cart. A few local restaurants are minutes away, too. Walking is also possible as the area is very pedestrian friendly. Additionally, there is a small gas station around the corner if case you need some immediate supplies. We also enjoyed watching the small planes take off overhead from the pool. It’s not loud or very frequent and not a noise concern at all. I highly recommend this home, and will definitely be back. I can’t recommend it enough.

Great property!

Spectacular home that is very well maintained. Plenty of room for families and in a nice quiet area. Walkable to many locations and not far from the beach. Wonderful communication when needed as well. Would definitely go back again!

Great house

This property was great for our party of 9 (two families with kids). There was plenty of space for everyone and the location was perfect. The communication from the property management was superb. The pool was smaller than we expected, but it was fine for the kids to play in. I wish the seating on the back (screened) porch was better. The kitchen was lacking some items that would have been nice (blender, extra plates for larger groups, foil/plastic wrap, etc). The window coverings did not block the morning sun, but did provide minimal privacy. Overall it was a good stay.

Perfect location for walks with our dog & soaking up the beauty of SSI!

Our stay was a dream!! The gorgeous home was ideally situated for leisurely strolls with our dog to the pet-friendly beaches and SSI lighthouse. The Property Management Group was incredibly accommodating and friendly, making communication a breeze. It truly was an unforgettable experience for our family!

Layout and flow of house were great- plenty of room for gathering together or spending alone time (2 toddlers & 7 adults). Loved the porches. Access to beach was quick. Pictures of pool a bit deceiving-more the size of larger spa. Cute, secluded space however.

Beautiful home, Excellent customer support

The home is extremely clean, had everything you needed, and was beautiful! Loved the pool. When I got up the first morning the Keurig was not working. Within an hour the management company dropped off a new Keurig!! Seriously, who does that?! They went above and beyond to make sure I had a great visit. I would stay at this home again!

Room for the entire extended family

This house was beautiful and had plenty of room for our family get together. Everyone was comfortable and could find a spot to relax. They didn't have much in the way of cleaning supplies for wiping counters and such so you may want to bring your own. The location was terrific and the check in information was easy to understand. We all enjoyed our stay.

Family Thanksgiving Week

Eight adult family members were very comfortable in this large modern house with lots of bathrooms. The well equipped kitchen was appreciated by some serious cooks. We enjoyed all our meals “at home.” Hope to be back.

Loved St. Simons and Jekyll Island

Great neighborhood and a very responsive owner and property manager. They took care of anything we needed. Highly recommend this property. Walking distance to great restaurants and a an easy golf cart ride to a nice sandy beach. (We also took a trip to Jekyll Island and loved the Driftwood Beach.)

House is beautiful, new, and clean. Picked this property due to the pool. The only negative was it was dirty when we arrived and I didn’t hear back from the owners. I had to reach out to the management company and they were excellent. The owners were prompt in getting back to me on everything else. Location was perfect for us to ride into town for dinner, breakfast, and desserts. The keurig came in handy. Kitchen looked great but we didn’t cook. Had a little wine/ bar room but we didn’t use that either. Had lots little touches like Bose system, TVs in every room, ect, and xfinity. We only used the TV downstairs though. Parking was very accessible and a garage full of beach/ pool supplies which we didn’t use those either. House is set up for anyone flying in that can’t bring all their own supplies. Rare find off the beaten path and look forward to staying again.

Absolutely great place to stay! Everything was as advertised and exceeded expectations. Will certainly be returning to this home.. cannot find a better dog friendly home with a pool on SSI!
