The Cabin on Galusha Farms 85 acre compound was built 40 years ago. It has always been a place of peace solitude and reflection. Nestled on the edge of Sleeper Creek valley, it has trails and waterfalls. Outdoor cooking area, fire pit, cozy beds, outdoor shower and a private porta-potty. 10 minutes from Watkins Glen. College Town Ithaca and Glass Making Corning are 30 minutes away. Located at the southern gateway to the Fingers Lake, wineries, breweries and recreation await you.

This property is fantastic! The cabin is rustic but had everything we needed for a great glamping experience. There is a lot to do in the area for both kids and adults. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome weekend getaway

Amazing little cabin nestled in the woods! šŸ™‚ Beautiful property and the structure itself is super cool to check out. You can tell every log was cut by hand with little personal touches added here and there over the years . It has Everything ya need and nothin ya don't. Its perfect. Beth and Chris we're extremely helpful with everything from check-in instructions to answering any questions I had and even giving me a history of the cabin upon check out. Five starsā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļøā­ļø. We will be back !

Family Getaway

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at the cabin! The kids were thrilled to explore the surrounding woods, and we all enjoyed discovering the beautiful natural scenery that the area has to offer. It felt like an adventure every day! The cabin itself was cozy and well-maintained, providing a perfect retreat after a day of outdoor fun. The owners were incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay special. They provided us with fantastic suggestions for local activities, which made our trip even more memorable. It is a magical cabin in the woods, but close to many other types of activities!! My daughter, son-in-law, grandsons (6 & 7 year old), and myself enjoyed exploring the trails, falls, and beauty of nature all around the cabin. The SUPER HOSTS BETH and CHRIS have everything you need at this phenomenal place! If you are an avid outdoorsman, and love natureā€¦..check this out!!

Charming Rustic Retreat With Modern Comforts

We had a fantastic time at this glamping cabin in the Southern Tier of New York! While the setting is rustic with outdoor facilities (as expected), we found everything very comfortable and well-maintained. The port-potty was freshly cleaned for us, and the outdoor shower with hot water was a welcome luxury. The outdoor cooking setup was well laid-out and made it easy to enjoy meals in the fresh air. Inside, the cabin was cozy with a lovely sleeping loft that had three very comfortable beds. The cool night-air from the loftā€™s large bank of windows contributed to some of the best sleep weā€™ve had in a while. The property is private and relaxing, with trails to walk on and a creek with little waterfalls and small swimming holes. Our two young boys and our dog had a great time running around and exploring. Beth was a pleasant and communicative host, making sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. Ideally located, the cabin was the perfect base for us to explore nearby areas like Watkins Glen, Corning, and Ithaca. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back one day. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy nature in comfort.

Wonderful property

We loved the cabin and our stay. The sleeping loft was very cozy and relaxing. We loved the outdoor shower and spending time on the porch. We were met by Chris at checkin and Beth was very quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone that wanted time away to disconnect. Thanks for a great time Beth & Chris!

Mini Honeymoon

My wife and I got married three weeks ago, before we could go on a long honeymoon we had the chance for a long weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect for us and our dog Roy! Not too far from town and entertainment, yet far enough out in the country amongst the farms and forest to enjoy the solitude.

Charming rustic cabin

A charming rustic cabin - truly a glamping experience! We had a great time being off the grid with no tv and not checking our phones. They provide games and corn hole to fill your time when not exploring the area. Beth was very responsive to all of my questions.

Marvelous experience

My wife, two kids (4 and 6), cousin and dog enjoyed the cabin. We absolutely loved it! We used it as a base to explore the area for 3 days. We ended up extending an extra day and could have stayed more. It is quite relaxing, feels off-grid, it is surrounded by woods that even have a creek running through that was great to explore with the kids. We found the outdoor shower spectacular. The hosts were wonderful, very easy to communicate with. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it. Thanks for sharing your cabin :-)

Grandkidsā€™ vacation

We took our 3 grandchildren to the finger lakes area and stayed 3 nights at this cabin. Super cozy, tucked back in the woods. A bit rustic but very much worth it. Highly recommend staying here.

Hidden Gem

Beth and Chris were quick and responsive whenever I needed them. Their cabin is a gem!!! Canā€™t explain how amazing it is. From all the open windows to the large porch to the hammocks swinging under the tree..we enjoyed every inch of it! We will certainly be back!!!!

Great spot to get a quiet weekend away with friends and have some nearby trails to hike around, and also only 15minutes from the heart of Watkins Glen when you need to get into town for anything!

AMAZING RELAXING stay

I can't say enough good things about this cabin. we were greeted on arrival, and you can see the pride they have taken into this property. The cabin itself is beautiful and the wrap around porch is perfect. They had everything that we needed. Grills, grilling tools, fire wood, containers for food storage. The upstairs loft was perfect for sleeping. the beds were so comfy. I have to say the outside shower was so nice with the morning sun beating down. Having coffee out on the porch in the quiet was exactly what we needed. if your looking for rest and relaxation this is the place for you! The location was perfect, it's right down the road from town. We can't wait to stay again!

Much needed R&R

We had a family emergency the day before our stay. The property manager was very responsive to questions before during, and even after our stay. The cabin was the perfect place for us to relax after all the chaos. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Wow! What an incredible property. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, rustic getaway, this is it! An ultimate glamping experience! We are avid outdoors lovers and this was a great fit for us. Hope to rent again next summer.

Glamping Oasis

What a wonderful spot for a much needed nature break from city life. I see why Beth and Chris are ranked as super hosts, they were very friendly and thorough giving us all the info we needed for an amazing getaway and couldn't have been more welcoming. The cabin is one of a kind, has everything you could possibly need with an amazing outdoor cooking set up. Our pups loved the cabin and it was secluded enough that we could let them be off leash. Close enough to amazing wine tasting, Watkins Glenn, waterfalls, kayak adventures and a tasty creamery it really is the perfect location. Thanks Beth and Chris! We'll definitely be back.

Happy Glampers

This was a last minute little getaway for my boyfriend and I and our friends. We absolutely had the best time together - we spent our days walking the trails. We saw so many beautiful waterfalls! we spent our nights by the fire outside sharing stories and laughs and making memories that will last with us forever! Buck (the dog) was so happy to have free roam of the entire property, playing and relaxing with us. If you are looking for an authentic camping experience - this is it, w a touch of glam.
