It's quirky, it's comfortable, and it's unlike anything else you'll find — and yes, your four-legged friends are welcome too.

We created Terrapin Station Retreat as our own version of a “Terrapin Station”—a place not just on a map, but a state of mind. Inspired by the spirit behind the Terrapin Station by The Grateful Dead, it represents an escape from the noise of everyday life into something deeper, more meaningful, and restorative.

The Space

A vintage 1970s hi-fi stereo and turntable anchor the room, ready to set whatever mood you're chasing. Drop a record, pour a glass of Seneca Lake wine, and let yourself settle into something slower. Every piece of furniture, every brushstroke of most art on the walls comes from a local artist or a friend with a story. The wood throughout the home was reclaimed, the décor rescued and reimagined — saved from landfills and given a second life here. Nothing in this space is accidental. Everything has a past, and now it's part of yours.
