Kate was easy to communicate with. We had a lovely time ringing in the New Year here and then hiking in the local parks. Loved cooking for my family in this beautiful kitchen while taking some much needed r&r after the busy holiday season. Cant wait to come back!

We were a group of four college friends who live in four different states, but we manage to reconnect somewhere every year. And this year we decided on Hocking Hills. THANK YOU for representing my state well! We arrived in the dark, but I was confident based on my gps AND the extra instructions listed. We immediately oohed and ahhed over the quiet solitude and large grounds. Upon inspection of the home, we discovered room enough for each of us to sleep in a separate area, but we most often convened in the well-stocked kitchen to make food (gotta introduce them to Buckeyes!), eat food, or just chat. I LOVED walking the grounds, and we spent time walking the lane, sitting on the deck, and even stargazing as well (Milky Way visible and two shooting stars included!) While we were four women with one bathroom again, we just re-lived our college apartment life and had the best time ever. THANK YOU for a lovely stay, a clean home, and prompt replies to my questions! I have already recommended this property to my husband for our family to come stay as well! My one recommendation would be to have a page of emergency numbers and instructions for check in/check out.

This place was lovely and our host was incredibly responsive and kind. Make sure to read the driving directions she gives you to avoid being lost in a dead cell zone. The house was super clean and well stocked. We loved it!

Birthday getaway for fiancée

Literally have nothing negative to say. This place is a complete gem. Please note. Be careful if you are driving a car that sits low to the ground. There is a 1.5 mile gravel road to the property. It can be a bit rough. Totally worth it though!

Memorial Day

This cabin was wonderful for our weekend getaway. Very clean, had everything you could need/want. The kids enjoyed making smores around the fire and loved seeing all of the wildlife that visited!

Spring Break with Family

The communication was amazing ! She was nice as can be.It was peaceful & relaxing being away from everyone. They had everything we needed. Offered extra towels which is needed for our family. A warning for the ladder to the loft ... cause we have a toddler. Offered soaps & pretty much everything. Hospitality was perfect! Hot tub was clean & very nice for all of us. Loved the cabin! Would be a great place for an outdoor family gathering! The stars at night sitting on the deck were wonderful! I would only suggest having a dresser or some storage to use for clothes in the master room. Also maybe something for the kitchen to store the food. Thanks again!!!!

More Than Expected

This vacation was all about our son (Fragile X Syndrome, Autism) and making his spring break special. Kate took the challenge to heart and made sure we had everything we needed for the perfect home-base for our exploring of the area. She even created a scavenger hunt on the property just for him. Our hostess was easy to communicate with, always available, ready to please. We've stayed in over 20 vacation rentals and this one will be the new bench mark to beat. We would love to return with our whole family.

It was beyond expectation. The hostess was so pleasant and reassured us that she was a phone call away, should any issue arise. The home was stocked with everything for your beautiful cabin getaway. The beauty and cleanliness of this home is far beyond the online pictures. Waking up surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature, made me feel like a Disney princess !!! Definitely going back soon…….

Perfect valentine's weekend away from the hustle & bustle .

My wife and I visit from Wheeling West Virginia area for Valentine’s Day 2025. We were looking for a place that was secluded and we found it here . The cabin was very private which we liked . The cabin was very clean , well organized and fully stock kitchen . The king size bed was super comfy , definitely on the softer side . Hot tub worked very well and was a great add on to a peaceful weekend. The owners were very responsive along with making sure every need was met .We plan to revisit with our kids this summer .Don’t second guess on this cabin, just book it . Well worth it . I rate it a five out of five. .

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful cabin in the woods! This is one of the cleanest vrbos we have stayed in and we travel often! The owner was easy to communciate with and checked on us several times during our stay. Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!.

Peace and solitude

Total seclusion. If peace, solitude, and connecting to nature are what you are after, then this is your place. Each morning was filled with wildlife. Deer grazing and flocks of wild turkey passing by. The owner remained in touch throughout our stay to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The home is clean and furniture comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. We were there during peak fall colors making all of our hikes throughout The Hocking Hills magnificent. Coming back to the silence of this property and soaking in the hot tub under the stars and breathing in the autumn smells was perfection. We left feeling renewed.

Cabin Getaway

Took my family to this cabin for a little fall getaway. It was perfect for my 5 & 6 year old. They loved the hot tub and the little bed in the loft. Great property, very secluded.

Beautiful property

The property is absolutely gorgeous and very secluded. The drive up to the property can be a little scary at times, but it is well worth it. Having the hot tub on the upper deck under the stars at night is the perfect place to unwind and relax after a long day of hiking.

Great place in Hocking Hills

Beautiful. Secluded. Well taken care of. Plenty of towels, dishes, blankets. Loved the hot tub. The picnic area, grills, televisions. Good idea to review directions if you're using GPS when you get within 10 to 15 miles of property. Wifi intermittent. Only one bathroom. I had 4 teenage girls with me. Lol
