The house was clean and well stocked with sheets, towels and blankets. We had a bit of trouble getting in the door (I had the wrong code), but the host was prompt in responding, super helpful and very nice! The kitchen is big and easy to use, there are now two bathrooms (both can be an on-suite) with one being shared by the 3rd bedroom, though not attached. For our quick overnight before flying out of Eugene the next day, it was perfect! Plus this house is no more than 10 mins from the Eugene Airport.

Perfect family stay just outside of Eugene

Perfect little getaway spot after the Oregon football game. Very quiet neighborhood with bbq, fire pit and apple trees outback! All the beds were so comfortable-we all slept so good! Kitchen was well stocked and spacious.

We had a great stay here. The check-in/check-out was super easy. The place was very clean and it had everything we needed. The mattress in the master was super comfy. The place is nice and spacious as well. Veneta is a darling community.

We had a wonderful stay. The home was clean and comfortable. The host offered clear communication and was very helpful. The place perfectly suited our needs. I would definitely choose to stay there again. I would highly recommend this property..

Veneta wedding

Stayed here with my sister and nieces for a wedding in veneta. Check in was super easy, and the house was a great place to stay with family and cook meals for the kids.

Home away from home

This was the perfect place for our family! Very comfortable beds! The perfect location between Eugene and Noti. The host, Eugene, was so helpful and communicative! We would love to stay there again anytime we’re back in the area!

Nice place to stay outside of Eugene

We were in town for Nike National and this location was a nice place to stay and relax when we weren’t at the meet. Was close to wineries and hiking trails. Was a quiet neighborhood.

Very clean and comfortable home for Family Weekend.

This house is very comfortable and worked very well for our family weekend! We very much enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and pantry. The beds were very comfortable also. The home was very clean. Really enjoyed having some space to walk the dogs on the field. That was such a great bonus!!

Great set up!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. It’s an older home and doesn’t look like much from the outside but inside it’s clean and has a great layout with bedrooms on opposites sides of the house with their own bathroom. Great for us and my mom. Would stay again. Peaceful country setting and very good communication with host that went above and beyond to accommodate us.

So sorry the price was not ideal for you. We use a software called pricelabs, which averages prices with similar homes in the area. Please come back and visit, you’ve been a great guest and we can work out a reasonable price that can make it worth coming back.

Family reunion 2025

Booked the Country Retreat for June 18-21st for a family reunion in Eugene. Communication with the host was always quick, the rental was as described, beautiful home, there was 4 of us that stayed there, bonding with my siblings was 2nd to the family reunion, There was about 65 of us there for the reunion on the river.Getting a hotel is just more expensive, we would have needed 3 hotel rooms, It was nice that the 4 of us stayed together, played card games with some music and we eating breakfast and lunch together brought back childhood memories Veneta is not too far from Eugene and this rental is clean, private and easy getting around wherever we were going. I would definitely stay here again!

A Hidden Gem

A cute clean updated home. Spacious and I was pleasantly surprised that there were 2 full bathrooms since it is advertised as just 1! Thank you for providing lots of bedding and towels. Only thing, I wish there was more seating in the living room for a more comfy game night. But that’s just a want not a need!

Comfy stay

The house was a very comfortable place to stay. We cooked all our meals at the house, everything we needed was there. I especially liked the full spice rack. My only small complaint is the yard. Theres multiple things in the yard that need to be picked up, and the lawn was high. It would also be nice since its dog friendly if there was a section of the yard that was fully fenced. The house is beautiful, and nicely updated.

Quiet home in the country

This is a quiet place to stay if you're looking to visit Eugene but not stay in the city. We had a few minor issues in the house, which we assume were isolated incidences, and the host was very responsive to our communications and intent on making things right. We appreciated the kid's books, bunk beds, and a few games, all of which made it very family friendly. The kitchen was well stocked and the check in/out procedures were simple and easy to follow. There are apples trees outside and llamas in the neighboring property, so a great taste of the country! The neighborhood isn't especially walkable if that's important to you. Overall, this house met our needs for a weekend away! We were impressed with the host's communication and desire to make it a positive experience.
