Possenhofen is a dream on Lake Starnberg. Our Remise (with 3 guest apartments) is only 200 meters from the S-Bahn station and 100 meters from the lake. The rooms were finished with modern baths and fully equipped kitchens in 2016. THE SEA ROOM
"One of the three most beautiful rooms in the coach house," Gregor says. The sea room is the largest apartment in the house. In deep blue painted, it offers a fully equipped kitchen. There is a huge comfortable E15 bed in the sleeping area. To the south is a private terrace with wooden deck for outdoor sitting. The sea room has a separate dressing room for those who like to take some more luggage (Katrein!). In the bathroom you will find a spacious shower, and a wonderful "fishtape" by Fornasetti.

The coach house was built in 1890 as a horse stable and coach house for the "Villa Fischer". In coordination with the monument protection, we completely renovated the building in 2016 and extended three holiday apartments. The sea room is on the ground floor. The mountain and forest rooms can be reached via the outside staircase and are located on the upper floor. They have a common antechamber and can be rented as a single unit. The sea room has its own terrace facing south. For the mountain and forest room there is in front of the Remise a beautiful gravelled courtyard, which invites to sit outside.

During the remise of the Remise, three themes were particularly important to us: design, comfort and ecology. All rooms are equipped with solid oak flooring from local trees and furnished with comfortable designer beds and vintage furniture from around the world. The walls are painted with water-based paints by Little Greene. In the modern bathrooms you will find eco-soaps and shampoos from "Stop The Water While Using Me". And, of course, the beds are cosily lined with organic cotton.

Since 2010 we live in Possenhofen as a colorful patchwork family with seven children and two cats. We love life here on Lake Starnberg. The beauty of nature. The proximity to the mountains. The lake in front of the door, the forest behind the house and the suburban train around the corner, to quickly return to Munich and back again. And we love our home in the "Villa Fischer", which has been here since 1860 and has been renovated with great dedication.
Nevertheless, we travel a lot and gladly around the world and look forward to, even if we live in tasteful and comfortable rooms. With this claim we have gone to the remise of the Remise. The apartments are equipped in such a way that our friends and guests can feel as comfortable as ourselves.
