Historic Fischer Cottage near Munich and lake built 1650 fully renovated 2017

The fisherman's house (built 1650) has been lovingly renovated and furnished according to the most modern standards, without forgetting the historical structures and details. Only historical and ecological building materials were used for the renovation. The house consists of

ground floor:
Living room with sofa bed (can be converted into a third bedroom), dining room, small bathroom with shower, toilet and washbasin, well equipped and modern kitchen with terrace, storage room with washing machine and dryer

First floor:
2 bedrooms and a large bathroom with WC, shower, bidet and washbasin


German and English books as well as a large selection of children's books and comics are available for your use in the accommodation as well as DVDs.
Due to the favourable location in the village also well suited for rail travelers. 2 adults and 3 children's bicycles are at the guests' free disposal to explore the area without a car. The lake and the centre are only a few minutes' walk away.

Dießen is the ideal starting point for exploring the pre-Alpine landscape with its many sights, for active sports or simply to relax. The lively artists' town has a beautiful building fabric and a rich cultural offering. Would you like to stroll around the small shops and studios, enjoy a fresh fish sandwich or paddle a round of stand-up paddling? This and much more is possible from our holiday home in just a few minutes' walk!

Cities like Weilheim, Schongau, Landsberg, Munich, Augsburg, Garmisch and Murnau are all within easy reach, partly also by regional train. Alpine hiking possibilities are in the Ammergebirge and Garmisch, a bit closer and with beautiful views also Peißenberg or Kloster Andechs. For nature lovers: Pähler gorge or Paterzell yew forest.

Gorgeous cottage

We loved our stay here, the cottage was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. It also had an incredibly well equipped kitchen. We also loved the location just a short walk from the town’s cafes and restaurants and the lake.

What a great vacation home

This home had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Bathrooms were great. The kitchen was very well equipped. The host was extremely helpful in providing information before we arrived and helpful while were were staying, even volunteering to help us find a place to watch the Germany Euro 24 match against Spain. The home is a very short walk to the town of Diessen and to the ferry to take you around the Ammersee. It is just an easy drive or train ride to Munich. If we were going to visit Bavaria again, we would want to stay here again.

Quaint house and village

Great quiet neighborhood with pretty houses and beautiful flowers. Lots of cafes in walking distance. Only warning is low ceilings and beams. Have to be real mindful of your surroundings. Could bang your head real easily. But to be honest…. It is notated in house description. Owner left a lovely baskets of snacks which we greatly appreciated after arriving late and all restaurants had already closed

very well stocked house

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen was wonderful with a great wealth of supplies available (not typical in a rental). We cooked at home every night and even did a full Christmas dinner. Bedrooms and Bathrooms were just as described. They were roomy and the bedding was very comfortable. The washer/dryer combo was very helpful. The trash system in Europe is more complicated than in the states so that took a little mental work for us to figure out (we are hoping we did it right). The only thing to note is that the ceilings in the top floor are very short. We are a tall family and we hit our heads on a number of doorways before we finally remembered to walk with our heads held low! We did a number of day trips - Zugspitz, Garmish gorge, castles, Rothenburg and the house was in a perfect position for all of these. We explored the Andechs monastery which is beautiful! The little town had a number of restaurants and shops to explore. Wonderful home in a beautiful country!

Charming and Authentic Fishing cottage

We stayed in the fishing cottage for about five days and cannot say enough about the house and the neighborhood. The house is a very short walk to the town center and the lake. It is very well equipped and has everything that you may need and everyone we met, to the neighbors to the shop and restaurant staff were just wonderful. The house is about an hour drive to Munich and Schwangau castles. Some things to keep in mind- We were there early June and there were some serious mosquitos or other biting bug. The house had screens for the windows so they were not a real problem in the house but made eating outside difficult. The grocery store sold some repellant but when we went to one of the pharmacies she recommended a stronger spray that worked really well. The other thing to keep in mind with this house, similar to other reviews is the doorways and ceiling are very low. Three of our party of four range in size from 5'8-6'0 and they had to be cautious when going into rooms and doors but we all agreed we would stay in the house again. The host was responsive, gave great instructions and even noticed a billing issue and resolved it with VRBO. We hope to return soon.

Wir hatten noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Hat nichts gefehlt. Sogar Equipment für Cocktails war da. Kaffeebohnen gab es auch. Natürlich war eine Kaffeemühle vorhanden.Auch sonst gab es großzügig Goodies für die Gäste. Aber Vorsicht! Die Fischer waren früher deutlich kleiner als heute. Kopf einziehen bei den Türen, vor allem im Obergeschoss ;-).Wir werden das Haus wieder buchen, wenn es frei ist.

Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft in der Nähe von allem was man braucht und sehen möchte.Das Haus ist sehr sauber. Es mangelt an gar nichts und man hat einen tollen Aufenthalt vom ersten Augenblick. Der Gastgeber ist jederzeit erreichbar und stellt alles zur Verfügung um ein Wohlfühlwochenende noch entspannter zu machen.

Das Fischerhaus ist, was es verspricht - gemütlich, geschmackvoll und hochwertig in der Ausstattung. Es fehlte an nichts und auch die freundliche Verwalterin war sehr zuvorkommend und gut erreichbar. Durch die zentrale Lage, blieb das Auto stehen, man konnte vom Haus direkt starten, egal ob Joggen, Wandern oder Radfahren.

Aangenaam verblijf, heel netjes!

We hebben deze vakantiewoning als heel goed ervaren. Heel netjes , alles is aanwezig in keuken, huis. Wel wat lage plafonds als je groot bent, maar is door de oorsprong van vissershuisje... Ideaal om de buurt van hieruit te verkennen, op wandelafstand van het naburige Ammersee meer.

Wunderschön

Ein wunderbares Häuschen, das sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist. Bei den noch sommerlichen Temperaturen haben wir uns gerne im Garten aufgehalten, der, wenn alles in voller Blüte steht, sicher noch schöner ist. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns bei Sabeeka, dass wir unseren Kurzaufenthalt in diesem besonderen Kleinod verbringen durften.

Wunderschöner Urlaub am Ammersee

Das Ferienhaus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und mit allem ausgestattet, was das Herz begehrt. Von der Vermieterin wurden wir mit einem Geschenkkorb begrüßt. Wir fanden in der Ferienwohnung alles vor, was wir für den Alltag ge- und verbrauchen konnten. Das Haus ist ein Unikat, sehr urig, der Holzboden und Decken. An die Türrahmen- und Deckenhöhe muss man sich erst gewöhnen. Das Haus ist ideal gelegen. Alles in Dießen fußläufig erreichen. In jedem Fall empfehlenswert.

Wir fanden es traumhaft !

meine Partnerin und ich haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es handelt sind um ein wunderschönes und toll renoviertes Haus. Man spürt förmlich die Wärme der liebevollen Einrichtung. Die Lage ist toll und das Haus bietet mehr als genug Platz, auch für mehrere Personen falls nötig. Wenn es sich einrichten lässt, würden wir jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Es ist absolut zu empfehlen !

Perfect cozy Bavarian cottage

The cottage was very clean and well cared for. The neighborhood is picturesque and Diessen is wonderful. The Ammersee is only a short walk away. It’s an ideal setting.

Wunderschöne Tage am Ammersee

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in dem liebevoll restaurierten Haus, alles war einfach grossartig, wir wurden mit einem Geschenkkorb empfangen, das Haus ist toll, gross, qualitativ sehr hochwertig renoviert worden, die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet, alles perfekt, sauber, und sehr gemütlich, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt, die Informationsbroschüre war sehr ausführlich und umfangreich, und wir werden sehr gerne hoffentlich bald wiederkommen. Wir waren einfach glücklich und hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Vielen lieben Dank an die Vermieter, einfach nur empfehlenswert, echt toll!

Idyllische Auszeit am Ammersee

Es hat alles reibungslos funktioniert und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und bestens gelegen, um den See zu genießen und auch für kleine Besorgungen im Ort.
