Beautiful resort on the calm part of Mallorca

During high season there will be more life in the streets, but we enjoyed it in May. Nice pool, perfect grill, tennis court and rockets for free to use. Really nice place to stay. Cliff, shop restaurant and beach is close enough to enjoy. Owner is super kind guy. Thank you for a nice stay.

Wonderful Family Stay with Exceptional Hospitality

We loved our stay at Sol de Mallorca. The host family was very kind and helpful, when I got sick on the last night, they even let us stay way past the standard check-out time. The apartment has everything you need, ideal for a family of four. We especially liked the terrace with the grill, which we used on most nights. The surrounding garden is full of trees and flowers and gives a very nice shade. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the table tennis table. Highly recommended!

Superb accomodation with great facilities in a top location

Raphael was a great host and friendly towards our family. He even inflated our boys’ crocodile for us to play with in the pool. We are already planning when we can come back.

Ideal family holiday location and accommodation

We had a great time with our Children aged 6 and 8 loving the use of the pool and tennis court in particular. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and obviously work very hard to maintain their fantastic property.

Everything was perfect

Really nice and lovely place right at Cala Mesquida. The beach is only 5 minutes walking distance away and the apartment has everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommend this place as especially the hosts living nearby were very kind and helpful :)

Our own private paradise!

If you are looking for the whole package, don't look any further. A clean, specious and beautiful spot, everything you need is there. Made with love by the owners. Rent a car and discover all the nice beaches and old towns. And enjoy the local restaurants. We are in love, Mallorca! Nothing, it's perfect!

Brilliant property

Very well located in a peaceful area but walking distance from the beach. Property was just as in the photos, perhaps a little bigger than they suggested even. The pool was very well kept and very clean even though it was the end of the season. We will likely return.

The apartment meet our needs as a family of four. The hosts were very pleasant and welcoming, even though we did not realise they would be on site. The bed in the master bedroom was not comfortable. For a week long stay a change of sheets and towels with a clean half way through I would of expected.

Great find!

A superb apartment in a quiet resort for total r and r! The apartment on the top floor is exactly as described. Very clean and comfortable. Kitchen not necessarily for high end cooking but totally adequate for holiday catering and does include proper sized fridge, and for the Brit traveller kettle and teapot! Comfortable beds. Efficient air con and excellent WiFi, even by the pool,so teenagers happy. Location superb...totally secluded even though it is In an area of holiday lettings and two low rise hotels. Very quiet most of the time with the occasional children playing noise from the hotel next door during the day, and some evening entertainment noise but not intrusive and certainly did did not keep us awake. Very little,passing traffic or seemingly people either....perfect! Pool a little dated ( gets the sun from 9am until about 6pm in summer) but the owners Rafael and Cati who live on site keep it spotlessly clean. Enough sun loungers for everyone , altho we didn’t see much of the other people in the other apartment, usually having the pool to ourselves. We had the top apartment which was lovely as better views, and catches morning sun and also sea breezes to help keep cool. Tennis court was great....balls and racquets provided. Lots of parking in road immediately adjacent to apartment. If you want active and wild nightlife this apt and Cala Mesquida is not the place for you. There is 1 small bar and 1beach bar....no real restaurants unless you go to the hotels...but not really the Spanish experince we were after. however 2 towns...one on coast, Cala Rajada, offers livelier nightlife and Alta, inland offers quiet relaxed dining and people watching...both an easy 10 minute drive with easy parking too. We much preferred going to Alta to eat out....lovely old town. Very small supermarket near apartment for basic needs, but on way into Cala Rajada there are 2 big supermarkets. Rafael and Cati who own the site are lovely. Nothing too much trouble. They both have excellent English which is reassuring in case something goes wrong. They keep the apartments well maintained and very clean. We booked this apartment on gut instinct...there were no reviews...and it was everything we hoped it would be and were delighted Cala Mesquida did not replicate some of the louder resorts you hear about in Majorca. This is truly a family apartment in a family friendly resort. We would def stay here again if we chose to return.

Der Pool und der liebevoll gestaltete Garten, mit kleinem Häuschen für Kinder ist ein Highlight. Die kleine Terrasse lädt zum Frühstück und Entspannen ein. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war zweckmäßig eingerichtet und sehr sauber.

Vsude bylo kousek, v lokalitě je ale nedostatek barů či restaurací. Na druhou stranu je díky tomu velice klidné středisko v porovnání s přeplněným zbytkem ostrova. Apartmán je akorát pro 4člennou rodinu. Jedině co bych doporučila, je mít v kuchyni trochu soli, oleje a pár kapslí na kávu, aby alespoň první den šel přežít bez cesty do obchodu.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit bei Rafael und seiner Frau. Der Außenbereich ist super gepflegt und vor Allem mit Kindern ein kleines Paradies. In dem schön angelegten Garten gibt es ein Spielhaus, eine Schaukel, einen Sandkasten sowie am Pool einen Basketballkorb, eine Tischtennisplatte und einen privaten Tennisplatz. Sogar Schläger und Bälle stehen zur freien Verfügung. Die gesamte Anlage und der Pool werden jeden Morgen von Rafael gründlich gereinigt, sodass alles in einem prima Zustand ist. Rafael und seine Frau sind sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und auf eine angenehme Art und Weise zurückhaltend. Sie legen viel Wert auf die Privatsphäre ihrer Gäste, wenn man dies denn möchte. Ein kleinerer Supermarkt und Strand sind ca. 5 Gehminuten entfernt. Für Restaurants sollte man einen Mietwagen haben - Empfehlungen für sehr gutes einheimisches Essen haben Rafael und seine Frau :) Wir würden in jedem Fall wiederkommen. Danke für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft und ein sehr netter Vermieteter

Vor allem für Familien mit Kindern sehr geeignet. Wunderschöner Strand und Naturschutzgebiet in der Nähe. Restaurants und Supermärkte vor Ort hatten im März noch nicht geöffnet, daher Auto benötigt.

Tolle Wohnung mit freundlichen Gastgebern

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und es wurde uns alles gezeigt. Die Wohnung ist super mit einer schönen Terasse. Neben dem grossen und schönen Pool hat es auch noch einen Tennisplatz den man jederzeit benutzen kann. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern, da es sehr viele „Gadgets“ hat für Kinder. Undere Tochter hatte sehr Freude an dem sehr schönen Holzhaus, wo sie zeichnen und erkunden konnte.

Schöne Unterkunft nah am Strand

Toll, dass man den Pool fast ausschließlich für sich hat (Teilen mit nur einem anderen Familie, die unter uns gewohnt hat). Die Vermieter wohnen direkt nebenan, so dass man immer einen Ansprechpartner hat bei fragen. Sie waren sehr nett. Im Garten gibt es ein spielhaus für Kinder, das sehr liebevoll eingerichtet ist und viele Beschäftigungsmöglivhkeiten bietet. Neben dem Gelände gibt es einen Tennisplatz den man mitbutzen kann. Bis zum Meer sind es ca 10 Minuten zum schönen Strand.

Das gemütliche Ambiente

Das gemütliche Ambiente. Sehr gepflegter Garten inkl. Pool und Tennisplatz. Diesen teilt man sich lediglich mit den Bewohnern des 2. Apartments. Grillmöglichkeit auf der Terrasse war mega! Klimaanlage in jedem der Zimmer mit separater Steuerung. Parkplätze haben wir eig. immer direkt vor der Haustür vorgefunden. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber! Küche ist für die Vorbereitung des Frühstücks und kleiner Mahlzeiten ausreichend. Bad könnte evtl. mal modernisiert werden.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung in einer top gepflegten Anlage mit Pool und Tennisplatz, Spielhaus für Kinder. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet mit Waschmaschine, Herd, Backofen, Mikrowelle, Gasgrill auf der Terrasse. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung liegt am Ortsrand von Cala Mequida, das zum größten Teil aus einer Hotelanlage besteht. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind im Ort mit 2 kleinen Supermärkten vorhanden. Zum Strand sind es ca. 5 Minuten Fußweg. Die Restaurants im Ort gehören alle zur Hotelanlage und sind auch nur für deren Gäste reserviert. Ausnahme war das Restaurant direkt am Strand. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder :-).......
