Beautiful 2 bedroom/ 2 bath lower level condominium that comfortably accommodates 6 overnight guests. Spacious living area perfect for families with a Queen size sofa bed. Views of the ocean and direct access from the rear patio door to the grassy common space and pool for your enjoyment. Pack 'n Play available for use and beach toys to share for your vacation enjoyment. Summerhouse has 4 Heated Pools, 4 Tennis Courts, 4 Racquetball Courts, 4 Pickle ball Courts, 4 Beach Walk-Overs, and Shuffle Board. There are 2 grilling areas and 2 playgrounds for the kids conveniently located at either end of the property. There is a small Book Library and a Fitness Room available during normal business hours.

A good substitute

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were fortunate to have a flat after we lost our usual one. The unit needs some tlc. Guest bath needs updating. Guest closet needs emptying to allow renters room for their things. Overall we enjoyed our stay. Master bedroom is very comfortable.

I expected something different

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is in need of major upgrades as its owners have done nothing to the bathrooms and kitchen for 40 years - it is all original (and worn) from the 80's. Toilets require about 3 gallons to flush and are constantly stopping up, the vanities are literally disintegrating and tile is coming off the floors in the bathrooms. The main floor was recently replaced with cheap LVF, and the unit has fresh paint -- the same color in every room. That's the only "new" things in the unit, contrary to the single 5 star review stating otherwise. There were no headboards on the beds, the floor was filthy when we arrived and we had to clean it, the drains are slow, the disposal doesn't work and won't drain, and the shower heads need replacing. Most furniture has been there 25 years, but the sofa bed/loveseat is new. I don't even know how such a dated unit made it into the rental program as the previous owners were refused for 20 years bc they didn't do the required kitchen/bathroom upgrades. After seeing the quality of other units, I became depressed and felt deceived. Doubtful this review will be published, but maybe management will see it and insist on getting the unit up to par because that is the most important thing. The only review, a 5 star review, for unit 422 is patently absurd. Compare a real 5 star unit - #431 - and you'll quickly see this unit #422 isn't worthy of anything more than 1 star in comparison. Very disappointing to be misled by a false 5 star review claiming "everything is new." I expected much more and at the very least factual transparency.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We’ve stayed at Summerhouse for many years and 422 was one the best units we’ve ever had. Everything seemed new and fresh. Definitely will request this unit again. Only negative and I’m being picky was that the washing machine was rather loud.
