A house with all the conveniences
Nick, the property owner, was very accommodating whenever we needed anything. He brought over an iron and ironing board which I needed for my sewing projects. And when he knew we were going to have a visit with our young grandchildren he brought appropriate books, toys and some little chairs for them to use. The only issue he was unable to help with was the noise which the refrigerator made but it did not happen all the time so it was something we accepted.
I like to bake and cook and the kitchen had all of the utensils and pans I needed. Nick was very quick to bring over a new small sized pot when we said we needed something smaller than a 5 quart pot just to boil an egg in.
The house is located in a neighborhood which must have many car owners who like loud exhaust systems on their pick ups and sporty cars so if noises bother you bring ear plugs to be able to sleep through the night. That is the only reason I did not rate the house 5 stars on the neighborhood.
Overall I would recommend staying in this house because it is centrally located and Nick is a great owner.

Perfect Stay
We just love our stay at Nick's place. It has a convenient location and the home is in a nice neighborhood. The property is fantastic with 3 comfy bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen, and new smart TVs. There is a nice fireplace in the living room which we used a few nights upon arrival is was a bit chilly for us. The property also had fenced backyard with a gas BBQ which we enjoyed. Toward the end of our stay, it was hot for a few days and the AC was mandatory with temps over 100 we were lucky this house had it, and it worked well. I also must say the communication with Nick was very easy and he was very responsive at all points during the process of booking, staying, and departing. All in all a perfect stay and we'll come back next time.

Great Spacious and Clean House
The house was great and all our needs. It was spacious with a 2 car garage and space for 2 cars in the driveway. The back yard was well kept although we didn't have a chance to use it due to time constraints.
The host was attentive and communicated in a timely manner. He even made special gesture to give his condolences as I was traveling for a funeral.
The location is about 20 minutes outside downtown Portland with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby.
I'd stay here again.

Not as expected
The owners were rigid and overly directive to us. The property was listed in south Portland but is on a distant suburb.

Regarding our property location, we simply provide the exact address to VRBO then they manage how it shows in your chosen search criteria. Also, when viewing any property it gives a general location which you had the opportunity to view for yourself prior to booking. This is the first we have heard about a location discrepancy so we will look into it further through VRBO to ensure the location is clear. We wish you all the best.

Working out of town.
This place was very clean. The contact nick was very receptive and always answered my text or call. If any issue came about he was quick to take care of it to make sure we were taken care of.
We stayed for 2 months straight and had zero problems. Thank you nick.
