We focused our attention to a cottage experience. We have added the privacy, ownership and flexibility of a personal cottage/home to this amazing real-estate just a few minutes’ walk to a private beach.

The space
We have equipped the kitchen fully with cooking ware, spices, plates, cups, and cutlery for your use while you stay. Enjoy your favorite wine next to a wood fire place in our cottage, or enjoy a cold beer while barbequing your favorite steak in the shared bbq area and at night light a fire on our fire pit and share stories under a starlight sky.

To make you feel more comfortable at home, we have provided you with lawn chairs, gazebos and tables for your outdoor pleasures. Just bring your food, swimming shorts and fire wood.

We have cabins for use for larger gatherings such as Reunion or Anniversary which can accommodate up to 21 guest in all, if you would rent all the cabins on the property should you require larger gathering. If you want all your family in one place to share stories around the fire, cook and eat together, this is it. For large group please inquire early in the season, as cottages and cabins book in advance.

Finally to add the touch of a hostel, we have 4 cabins, which are rented individually. Get out and meet new people if you like and share your world experience with others. We have an onsite Chip Wagon, take out or dine-in establishment. Fully staffed, serving fish and chips, burgers, sausages, ice cream, pop and all the rest of goodies to make you feel at ease. Restaurant times may vary please confirm and inquire before booking.

We are surrounded by Sand dunes, fence and trees. This makes the property rather private and separate from neighbors, noise complaints are unlikely but we still ask groups to be considerate to those around us.

Enjoy the white sand and breathtaking sunsets on the shores of Lake Huron. Only 5 minute walk to Ipperwash beach. Boating, fishing, trails, shopping, live theatre, Pinery flea market, tennis courts, many golf courses and amenities nearby.

About this space
We consider ourselves to be strong travelers and we have travelled the world from Australia to South Africa, to most of Europe and the Americas. Living in hostels, communal living arrangements, and hotels, we have put together this family project to share our experience and joy with our guests.

Sunset Cabins Ipperwash beach is located on Ipperwash Beach Road, just a 3 minute walk to the beach. Come enjoy the safe quiet sandy beach, clear water and outstanding sunsets on beautiful Lake Huron. Relax at our quiet family oriented cottages and cabins which is also home to an onsite Chip Truck serving lunch and dinners. A perfect place for family vacations & weekend getaways. Provincial Parks, Golf courses, Motor Speedway and Drive In Theatre all nearby.

Other things to note
Please remembered to bring your own linins, pillow and bed site and blankets, soaps and shampoos. We provide you with Amenities include coffee pot, toaster, stoves/microwaves, en-suite bathrooms with stand-up showers, BBQ's, picnic eating areas & fire pit.
Master bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, other areas of the cottage might have fans. WiFi is also available on site but may be not reliable in the rooms as we are limited by the service provider.
