Brand new one bedroom, one bathroom located in the center of historic downtown Ellsworth.
One of two similar second floor apartments that could be rented together if available.

Steps from some of the areas best restaurants, bars, shops and The Grand theater. Downtown restaurants within a short walking distance include the highly rated Provender Kitchen, Finns Irish Pub, Airline Brewing, Fogtown Beer Garden, Margaritas, Union River Lobster House and Serendib. John Edwards Market is just a block away for a great assortment of wine and cheeses as well as grocery needs. Downtown has become known in the area for its eclectic mix of shops with something for everyone. Walking distance to the harbor and library. Downtown Ellsworth is conveniently located in the center of the areas best attractions such as Acadia National Park, Schoodic Point, Bar Harbor, Blue Hill, Lamoine and Surry to name a few.

Although there is not a private parking spot the building has public lots on both sides. The main lot is located directly in front of city hall, police and fire making its location extremely safe. EV parking and charging is approximately 500 ft.

Perfect little apartment for one or two people to stay in while visiting Maine! Located above stores, but fairly quiet and secluded. Close to many shops and delicious restaurants that you can walk to. Communication with our host, Linda, was great! She was quick to respond and helpful with directions to the place when asked. It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from Acadia which was perfect for us since we spent the majority of our time there. We were able to park out front on the street each evening into the morning. The area felt very safe and welcoming. We had a wonderful time and would stay there again!

The apartment was beautifully decorated with so many adorable finishes. It was immaculately clean. The bed was a comfortable king but just a touch too firm for our taste. We arrived earlier than anticipated and Linda was able to accommodate an early check in for us. I can’t say enough great things about her place. We loved loved loved it and didn’t want to leave.

I have nothing but great things to say about my stay at apt B in Ellsworth! Check in instructions were communicated timely and clearly. The apt was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Also in a great location with it being super walkable to many restaraunts and cool shops. It was a quick and easy drive to Acadia so I would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area! Perfect for a nice get away for a couple or 3 people! I’d happily stay here again next time I visit Acadia! Thank you again

Perfect Location for Acadia!

This apartment is exactly as advertised. It's in a great location, about 25 minute drive to the park entrance. So much to see and do on the route. The apt is clean and comfortable with all the supplies you need. The apt is up a flight of stairs for anyone with challenges. Free 2 hour street parking and free lots around. Cute stores and nice restaurants, some with nightly live entertainment. Hosts were quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend this unit and would stay again if I cameback to the area.

Maine vacation

This apartment was perfect for our trip. We spent most of our time visiting Acadia and this was a great location to stay. It’s about a 30 min drive to Acadia. Ellsworth is such a cute town with great restaurants within walking distance. The apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated and had all the necessities. The owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Location to do day trips from

I would like to start out my review of our apartment in Ellsworth by saying Maine natives have to be some of the friendliest people in any state. I love to rent an apartment in small towns across the US around the month of June. I was a retailer in small town for 30 years and love to see small towns still thrive. Our apartment was nicely decorated and clean. Located right downtown and even with lots of traffic during the day, it really quieted down around 5:30. One local bar by the name of Black Moon has music most afternoons or evenings. The staff are friendly and locals are willing to share their ideas of places to visit. Flexit Café was great place to have breakfast or some great sweets like scones, blueberry muffins, pastries. We took day trips from here which were within 1.5 hours. NE Harbor, SW Harbor, Belfast, Surry, Schoodic Point (94 degrees in town, 74 at the point), Winter Harbor, Millinocket and so on. Point being you can really use this as your home base and see lots of Maine close by. We did not visit Bar Harbor as it was too crazy get around and park.Our apartment owners were available for anything we needed, although not much was needed. We hope you have as nice of visit as we did in our two weeks in Maine. Next year we plan to visit Walla Walla, WA and Vancouver, but hope to return here another date in our future.Cliff and Barb

This place was perfect! It may sound strange but it’s the little things. The place smelled good. Loved the layout, it was quiet, nice and roomy for my husband and I. There were baskets in the bathroom on the wall that made it nice to be able to have somewhere to put your bathroom things. There was a nice full length mirror in the bedroom so I could do my makeup while my husband got ready in the bathroom. Blackout blinds. Dimming lights. King size comfortable bed. The place was one of the best short term rentals we have stayed at. They put a lot of time into the details to make sure the stay was just perfect. It was a perfect location in town. Coffee shop just a few doors down when you walk downstairs. Restaurants are all within walking distance. Shops, cute town. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park were a short drive I would say around 30 min. Gave us time to enjoy our coffee on the way. We had no issues at all. We would without a hesitation stay again. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Studio in Ellsworth

This is a great space for two. The apartment was very clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Had quick question upon arrival and the host answered promptly. There are a few stairs to second level, not a problem for us. Enjoyed restaurants in walking distance and shops too. We trekked over to Bar Harbor/Acadia every day. Highly recommend.

If you want to stay away from the Bar Harbor commercialism and hordes this is the place for you! Apartment located in cute Main Street Ellsworth. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you will need and immaculately kept.

Good home base for visiting Acadia

We enjoyed staying at this property when we visited Acadia National Park. Pros: nicely updated property; friendly host; room darkening shades in bedroom Cons: no dedicated parking; no shampoo/body wash; high security deposit Overall, this is a nice property and a good home base when visiting the area.

Wonderful apartment

We had a wonderful stay at Linda's apartment! The decor is modern and cozy with lots of light. There were several extra touches like spacious closets with lots of hangers, ample storage space, USB ports in the nightstands and plenty of bath linens. Both the sofa and bed were quite comfortable. The location was perfect- several great restaurants, bars and shops were right on the same street.The location is an easy drive to Acadia, Bangor or Bar Harbor too, making it the perfect "home base" for our travels. We found on-street parking and the area was quiet and felt very safe. The best part was that Linda recognized that we were on vacation and didn't ask anything of us at checkout! I highly recommend this apartment for your stay.

Comfy Stay

This apartment was roomier than the pictures and I felt I was at home. Very comfortable and clean, it worked well for our stay. It doesn't have a view but we got a kick out of watching the squirrels run across the electric lines-we weren't there for a view. The downtown area was very nice, but not a late night life for the time we were there. Would definitely recommend this place unless you have issues with stairs. The owners were wonderful and very responsive when we had questions. Overal fun and comfy stay!

Great location and apartment!

My wife and I stayed here while visiting Acadia National Park. When researching vacation rentals, we weren't sure what area to stay in, but we were so glad we chose Ellsworth instead of Bar Harbor! Bar Harbor was so crowded and busy, which we didn't like. Plus the places to stay looked either dated or very expensive. Ellsworth was close enough to be a short drive to Acadia, but far enough away to be much more laid back. Plus, the location of this apartment in downtown Ellsworth was perfect! There are lots of shops and restaurants within a couple blocks walking distance, and it was a nice way to unwind after a busy day of exploring Acadia. The apartment itself was great, in a cool historic building but totally updated and modern inside. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have both air conditioning in the apartment and a ceiling fan in the bedroom. We would absolutely stay here again if we ever go back to the area.

Perfect Location

This well appointed apartment is in the perfect location to walk to most places in Ellsworth and is also within an hour’s drive to many scenic places, including Acadia National Park. The apartment was clean, well decorated, and comfortable!

We enjoyed our visit with our 86 year old dad. Our visit was a family reunion with our dad, uncle and aunt from Florida and cousins who all live in the Ellsworth, Trenton and Bar Harbor area. The apartment was perfect. Clean quiet and updated. Above a children’s store with hours of 10-5. Very quiet overnight and morning. Would definitely stay again
