Enjoy Maine and the way life should be in this spacious family home surrounded by woods and tranquil views of Muscongus Bay. This recently renovated 4000 sq ft house located on 7 acres includes three full levels of living and ocean views from every room. Check out the amazing stars at night or enjoy sunny afternoons from the dock in the summer. Prepare and enjoy meals in the large, well-stocked kitchen, equipped with a new Viking range, or grill dinner on the deck. Enjoy time together around the dining room table which seats 10-12. Or better yet, during the summer and early fall, head to the lobster pounds in Round Pond—a short walk or ride. It’s perfect for large or multiple families looking to explore mid-coast Maine, or couples who want to vacation together yet have your own space. Summer and fall are beautiful and winter and spring are tranquil. The house is available to rent year-round and is equipped with two wood stoves to stay warm on chilly evenings. High speed internet and boosters throughout the house make it a great option for those looking to work from home in the summer or off-season. Monthly rentals are available.

House is full of books, games, puzzles to keep everyone entertained, and you can test out the new croquet set while you soak in the sea air and tranquil views. Comfy beds and new Cuddledown pillows make it feel like home.

With quick access to destinations such as Pemaquid Point, Rockland, Camden, Freeport, Boothbay and many more this is a perfect home-base location for a Maine vacation. You'll want to return year after year.

We have stayed here two years in a row. We love it! Perfect place for the whole family, three generations, to spread out and enjoy. The dock is great!! The house is well stocked. There is plenty to do nearby.

The kitchen and pantry were well stocked for cooking at home, which we did often. There were local co-ops and grocery stores that were recommended to me when I enquired. We used the large dining room with view for our meals

Nice house, Great location

Property as described. One of the cleanest houses I’ve stayed at. Appreciated how well stocked the kitchen and house in general was. Only comment to make others aware of if you have back issues is that two of the beds are on the softer side.

Spectacular Vacation Home

The property truly is a home away from home. The kitchen has all the equipment and tools any cook would need. The beds are clean and comfortable. Plenty of space to visit or play a game or you can find a quiet corner to read a book. The hosts were gracious and accommodating. Lovely view. Better than advertised.

Wedding week

This home is exactly as advertised and more more more. It is in a breathtaking, secluded private setting overlooking the water. Home is absolutely beautiful and comfortable. The owner has been so considerate in the smallest of details like phone chargers and reading glasses 👓 We are already thinking of our next visit. Thank you Tracy for sharing this special place.

Absolutely beautiful

This property could not have been better for our large family. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and space for all of us to be together at meals or apart when we wanted to be alone! The outside has plenty of room to play or simply enjoy the waterfront. We love being in Round Pond. Tracy is an excellent host. Already booked again for next year!

Perfect family house in a perfect location

We stayed in Tracy’s home as a family of 10 including 3 small grandchildren. Her home was the perfect size to all be together but also have our quiet spaces when we needed. The location was not only gorgeous and remote but the perfect central spot for all of the adventures that we went on. We visited Kennebunkport, Portland, Cape Elizabeth, Boothbay, Freeport, Pemaquid area, Rockport, Camden, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Our Family will definitely want to stay here again on our next adventure to Maine.

This home was everything we wanted and so much more! The location was an absolute dream. The house was warm, welcoming and clean. Tracy was beyond helpful and quick to answer all of our questions. I honestly cannot say enough to adequately praise this home and host. We will definitely be back!

Elegant retreat

Group of 8 adults enjoyed our stay in Maine. The house is convenient to many other towns and scenic sites. Cooked a lot of meals in-well stocked kitchen. Could have supplied better pillows. In our room they were flat and gave no support. Two nights were very warm, and with no AC it really affected our sleep. All in all, it is a wonderful house and we had a great time.

Beautiful home!

This house fit our family perfectly! It was just as described! Beautiful inside and out with a lovely dock and view of the water and an Eagle that flew by a couple times a day! Lots of games for adults and children. Three close restaurants for LOBSTER plus a store in Round Pond that sold every little toy a child could want.. with an ice cream window in the rear!! PERFECT! And for myself, being an artist , we visited all the many galleries on the peninsula! WONDERFUL WEEK! Thanks so much Tracy! You were so helpful! Love to come back!!

Beautiful home with everything we needed!

We own a small cottage nearby and rented this vacation home for our children and grandchildren, as we LOVE the Pemaquid area and all it has to offer. The home and setting were exceptional. Plenty of parking, a well-stocked kitchen with everything we could imagine for cooking and serving a very large group. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, so we were comfortable no matter the weather. The house is stocked for recreation too - with plenty of games and activities to keep kids of all ages engaged and busy. We did not swim off the dock, but we could have. There are three mostly above-ground levels in this home, so there were plenty of spaces to go if you needed some quiet time. The host was communicative and welcoming and available by text if we needed anything, which we did not. The property was clean, comfortable, beautiful and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. 5 Stars!

This was by far one of the best family vacations that we have had in a long time! The house had everything that we needed inside and out The calming, natural setting was stunning, and the hosts were very accommodating in every way. Beautiful Views & Perfect Location

Beautiful spacious home that was perfect for our family! The house had everything that we could have needed and it was conveniently located to our favorite spots in Pemaquid. We enjoyed relaxing on the pier and even caught a few fish. The home was everything that we could have hoped for and more. Highly recommend!

Great vacation spot

We had a great time and really enjoyed the house, the waterfront and area around Round Pond and New Harbor. The nearby islands are beautiful and within interesting reach by powerboat. The only thing I would say about the anchorage is that waves can make it a rough place to keep a boat and bring into the dock. If you're experienced it can work out but otherwise, it may make sense to rent a mooring in Round Pond. Swimming and kayaking from the dock were great.

After renting in and around Round Pond for many years, we purchased this home from the original owners' family in 2021. Built in 1994, the house has been updated from top to bottom including renovating all bathrooms. It's a lovely spot with easy access to nearby hiking trails, the Maine Botanical Gardens and Pemaquid Beach.
