A Cinderella Story -Downtown Southern Pines

Welcome to A Cinderella Story, our cozy historic 4 bedroom cottage equipped with everything you need for your home away from home.

Located minutes away from world-class golf, nationally renowned equestrian activities, and the relaxing Spa at Pinehurst.

A very short walk away to beautiful downtown Southern Pines - picturesque boutiques, delicious restaurants, coffee shops, a brewery, a movie theater and more!

Comfortably sleeps 14 for golf trips, family retreats, and girlfriend getaways.

The house features:

Bedroom 1 - 1 king bed with full linens, Smart TV
Bedroom 2 - 1 queen bed with full linens, ensuite bathroom and a Smart TV
Bedroom 3 - 2 pyramid beds with trundle and full linens (sleeps 6)
Bedroom 4 (located upstairs) - 2 twins beds with full linens. A full bathroom is across the hall with a clawfoot tub for a nice bubble bath.

There are 3 full bathrooms downstairs stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body soap and hair dryers.

Make yourself at home with our open space fully equipped kitchen - microwave, coffee maker, toaster, fridge, gas stove and oven, dishwasher, pots and pans, plates, cups, silverware…etc to cook your favorite meals. Grab a barstool at the welcoming kitchen island and enjoy your favorite snacks and drink.

Adjacent to the kitchen is a beautiful long dining room table that seats 10 people- a perfect place to come together for a meal or play one of the numerous board games you can find on the bookshelf.

A cozy living room with a Smart TV, several accent chairs, and a sleeper sofa (to accommodate extra guests) is the perfect gathering place to unwind after a fun day of exploring the town or playing a round of golf.

Need to get some work done? Around the corner from the living room is a small private workstation.

Expansive fenced in backyard with gas grill, outdoor games and secluded fire pit with chairs to enjoy a relaxing evening. New in 2022 is a professionally installed putting green.
There are 5 hole locations and it rolls like the real thing. There is also an outdoor 10x10x10' hitting bay to help you get warmed up before your next round.

The house and linens are professionally cleaned by a third party cleaning service.

Relax, unwind and escape to the charm of the North Carolina Sandhills.

My golf group had a great experience at A Cinderella Story and would highly recommend it to others. We had 12 guys who all had a place to sleep. The house is very close to all the food in Southern Pines, plus approx. 5min to Southern Pines/Mid Pines/Pine Needles golf courses. 10min to Pinehurst, 25min to Tobacco road and an hour to Tot Hill Farm. We played poker and used the firepit, and check in/out was very easy.

Buddies Golf Trip

Our group had a wonderful time staying at a Cinderella Story. The house had everything we needed and more. Rebecca was such an inviting host and was there for anything we needed. Close to many restaurants and bars!

Fun for the whole family

Great location! walking distance to downtown southern pines. The home has a great layout great for groups . Our group never felt crowded . Putting green and fire pit were a hit with the teens and adults . Good communication from the owner . Would stay here again!

Great place for a golf trip

Walkable to downtown Southern Pines. Four bedrooms with four bathrooms. A nice TV room as well as other amenities. A great stay.

US Kids Worlds Golf

Multi-generational “entourage” for our 10 year old golfer. We all enjoyed the putting green and the “pool table”, but she especially enjoyed the record player! There was plenty of space for everyone in this charming cottage, but my favorite place was the window reading nook!

This was by far one of our most memorable stays. The house is amazing and loved every moment of our stay. Location is great. Plenty of parking and loved the putting green! We look forward to being able to go back soon. Rebecca was great and we loved every moment of our stay!!

Cinderella Story: Nov 9-12

The cottage was even better than the pictures online! The entire process was extremely smooth and couldn't have asked for a better location. The food recommendations provided were all great and will definitely look to stay here again next time we're in the area

Wedding weekend

Rebecca was a great host! Very quick response to questions. House is gorgeous and very clean. Kid friendly and everything you need- toiletries, coffee bar, bedding, games etc… Great property for pictures and close to downtown Southern Pines and Pinehurst. Will definitely be back!

Magical Weekend!

An incredible weekend celebrating our son’s 18th birthday. Golf, food, friends, and football! A perfect weekend, and The Cinderella Story was the most perfect location. The putting green and the fire pit made for the best “after golf” activities. Thank you for creating the most welcoming spot. We hope to be back!

Fun Golf Getaway

We were in town for a golf tournament. The house was great. Very close to the golf course we were playing at and close to lots of restaurants and stores. The beds were very comfortable and the house had everything we needed. We came during an extremely hot week, and the temperature in the bedrooms in the addition were a little warm, but there were plenty of fans to help keep it cooler. Overall, really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect cottage charm

Lovely home in walking distance to all that Southern Pines has to offer. Plenty of room for the family to spread out. Great location to get to any of the fabulous golf courses in the area. Loved the putting green! Host was great. Would definitely return.

Charming cottage

This home was absolutely charming. It was clean and cozy. Warm and inviting. The beds were comfortable, and it was well stocked in the bathrooms and kitchen. It was a fun place to stay for our entire family from 7 years old to 45. We had a wonderful time.

An enchanted cottage with the perfect extras

I was in the lodging business with Marriott for 25 years. This cottage is a perfect for a fantastic family, friend or golf gettaway! The private fire-pit with wonderful seating in the back yard. A putting green with five holes, balls included with a practice hitting net! A gaming table inside, a library of games, 4 private, comfortable bedrooms. A terrific dining room that seats 10 people. A cozy family room, porches to the front and back. A location that is walkable to quaint dining/boutique retail. Well appointed and up to date home! Rebecca the host was very efficient and friendly. We will return! Thank you for a superb experience, stay and our Cinderella logoed golf balls!

Perfect House Fore a Golf Weekend

The house was perfect for our four-man golf weekend in Southern Pines. It was much more walkable than we were expecting, we particularly enjoyed grabbing beers and sitting outside at both Red's Corner and Hatchet Brewing, both of which were a short walk. Vito's and the Sly Fox were also a short walk and great for dinner. The house was well equipped with everything we needed, plus some very nice touches such as a fully stocked coffee station with to-go cups. I highly recommend this house and we will definitely stay there again if we make it back to Southern Pines.

Beautiful Property

We loved this house! It was beautifully decorated and renovated. The beds were really comfortable. The house was stocked with everything you could possibly want or need. Great location within walking distance to Southern Pines’ shopping and dining. We would stay again for sure!

Unbelievable

This house looked really great online, but it was even better than we thought it would be! It was gorgeous, well-appointed, in an excellent location, and we loved it! We have rented many VRBO’s over the years…this one will go down as one of our favorite! The host was so helpful and responsive. Such a perfect place for our family to celebrate being together!

We fell in love with not only this house, but for the proximity to charming downtown Southern pines, which is just a short walk from our front door. The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 full bath with many amenities to make your stay pleasant and relaxing. The area is surrounded by world class golf courses, local breweries, and amazing restaurants. It is a perfect home base for that annual golf trip, a girls getaway, or just an escape to a slower way of life.
