This review is completely inaccurate. Matt only informed me that the air was not working properly once I let him know I saw someone enter the property with a dog and he would be charged a pet cleaning fee because I have a strict NO PETS policy. The video from my security system shows and records audio of his guest in a blue shirt beckoning for the dog to follow him inside. He lied and said it was my neighbors dog. I know my neighbors dogs and this isn't their dog. Plus neither of my neighbors were in town. Also Matt's wife tried to lie to me about the dog and when I told her it's on video she said she was so sorry and the dog wouldn't be staying and that it was a friend's dog that came over to visit. This call was recorded by the VRBO agent when I called to ask about my rights as a property owner if my house rules are violated. They told me I could cancel the reservation and the guest would have to leave immediately. I didn't want to do that and just wanted the dog to leave and them to pay the pet cleaning fee. I am allowed to have security cameras on the outside for the protection of my guests and property. This is published in the listing. I offered to send the A/C company out at 8:30pm when I first learned of the malfunction and Matt declined saying it was cooling off. I told him the company would come out first thing in the morning instead. He left at 8am a day early without giving me the opportunity to fix the issue and before the A/C could get there. Matt is not welcomed back.

Charana completely disrespected and broke every house rule. He threw a bachelor party without my consent and had about 15 guests. I reiterated the HOA rules of only having 3 cars and he kept changing the names on the list to have more people access the community. He did inform me of the porch light not working and I told him he could plug in the string lights until I could fix it. I received a call from the neighbor the morning of his checkout saying the guests were playing loud music and the drums late at night. Also one of the guests urinated on the beach in broad daylight and another exposed his rear end. There were lots of cigarette buds left outside all over the property. Charana did not ask for a late checkout and checkout time was at noon. My housekeeper went by to clean the house for the next guests and had to ask them to leave at 1:30. His guests apologized for the incidents and started cleaning while Charana yelled, was disrespectful and put his fingers in the housekeepers face. I was on speaker phone and could hear the conversation. During his stay he sent me a message saying he loved the property, to keep the place going so he could come back and he spoke with my really nice neighbor. I have the copies of these messages. Of course this was prior to me receiving the neighbors call. I pride myself in providing the best possible experience for my guests and that is why I receive 5-star reviews and have maintained a Premier Host status. Charana is not welcomed back.

Hi Leslie. I am quite disappointed that you were unsatisfied with your stay at the cabin and you are asking for a 1 night's refund in which I will respectfully decline. Also VRBO doesn't issue refunds after checkout. You initially stated you were lookin for a quick getaway, comparing prices, and on a single mom's budget. The next day you booked and I sent check in information. Never once during your stay did you inform me of any concerns as the message log confirms. Yet you stayed for 2 night. After reviewing the alarm system notifications log, I see several doors were opened, left opened and closed an excessive amount of times. On 7/18 @ 4:17:12pm the back sliding door was opened and closed 30 times from 10:36:34am. I'm not sure how you were able to do that if the door was difficult to open and close. It appears the gnats came in due to this or they were planted. The housekeeper discovered lots of gnats only in the upstairs shower which appears that they were brought and dumped there. The guests after you didn't have an issue and neither did I after staying the last few days. You also never informed me that the smoke detector was beeping. I would have sent the housekeeper to change the batteries. The kitchen is fully equipped to handle my large family that enjoyed Thanksgiving there. If you stay in a cabin in the country, you have to keep the doors closed to keep bugs out and maintain the temperature as stated in the check in instructions. You are not welcome back.
