Kiahuna Plantation With View of Ocean

Our condo is located on the sunny, south side of the beautiful island of Kauai in the Kiahuna Plantation Resort. We are located in Building #19, Unit #131 which is upstairs with no vacationers above you. It is situated on the property where parking is ample all day. We've recently remodeled the kitchen with beautiful granite countertops and our unit is decorated with a lot of Hawaiian style. Plantation shutters lead out to our beautiful lanai which boasts an ocean view (we are categorized Garden View Deluxe). You will love enjoying your morning coffee on the lanai with beautiful balmy breezes. A bar-b-que is located a few steps from our unit. A short 2-minute walk to the most beautiful beach with a beach hut at water's edge to purchase drinks and snacks. Towels and beach chairs are free. We currently installed air conditioning so our beach house is cool and comfortable.

Across the street is a beautiful shopping mall with several restaurants and even a Starbucks. Down the street is a brand new shopping mall with new stores opening every day.

Unit #131 is our little piece of paradise and we would love to share our beautiful Hawaiian home with you.

Clean, comfortable, nice property! Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay. Small view of the ocean from the balcony. The A/C worked really well. Well-decorated, carpet seemed newer which was nice. Cookware was a bit outdated, but usable and generally had what we needed (except for food/leftovers storage containers). At the time of our visit in May 2025 in the closet was a small cooler, a couple of boogie boards, a single camp chair, some big kids size swim fins. We've stayed at other Kiahuna condos and this one was the cleanest.

First time on Kauai

This property was a great place to stay for our first trip to Kauai. Driving to other parts of the island was no problem! The plantation itself truly feels like Hawaii! Additionally, having a luau within walking distance was a real bonus! We will come back for sure!

Poipu Paradise!

This lovely 1 bedroom condo with ocean view is well located - close to shopping, restaurants, and of course the beach! The upstairs unit is nicely decorated, with a full kitchen, sitting area, dining area, spacious bedroom with king sized bed, and full bath with tile shower and double sink vanity. The lanai is pleasant in the morning and evening, but gets plenty of afternoon sun. Laundry's facilities are located some distance away, but they are clean and modern. The grounds are lovely and very well maintained. There is even a botanical garden on site (Moir Garden). We can’t say enough about the Castle Resorts management staff- they are courteous, knowledgeable, and fix problems quickly. Our stay included priveliges at a swim club across the street (no pool on site) but we didn’t go to the pool. There is plenty of parking, and we noted security personnel patrols. Would definitely stay at Kiahuna Plantation again.

Heavenly Kauai

We enjoyed our time at your wonderful condo and resort. The grounds were beautiful, the condo was very clean, nicely furnished and roomy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view of the grounds and ocean from the lanai was beautiful. There were great restaurants, shopping plazas, swimming, snorkeling and the athletic club within close walking distance. We saw several green sea turtles on Poipu Beach which was within 5 minutes walking distance from the resort.

Great Little Condo & Beach

Perfect little condo for two. Pool- across the street but very nice w/many activities, bar, food, & very easy. Linens are $15 to replace or $6 to do yourself. Little view from the lanai is great. Beach umbrella and chair is broken but the little 6 pack cooler was great. Kitchen is perfect for 2, ice maker was handy for the cooler. Parking is super easy and many spots, beach hut rental has chairs for free that are a little heavy but doable, and beach towels with the card they give you at check in. BBQ grills are the cleanest I have ever seen. Shopping and restaurants across the street or within 5 minutes. Rock & Roll sushi is great! We enjoyed our stay & was very easy to communicate w/the owners, even allowed a late checkout when our next place was delayed from entry to make sure our food would not spoil. Thanks!

Misleading listing; Overpriced; why a VRBO?

Amenities listed washer+dryer, pool...W+D is actually 8 bldgs away in pay "guest" laundry; pool is across Poipu Rd in crowded (public) athletic facility. When questioned host reply was "I didn't say they were in the unit or on the property". Other "resume enhancements" in listing. Save $$$ by contacting on-site Castle Resorts--Kiahuna Plantation (who manages most of other 311 units in KP) for lower price, less tax, lower cleaning, and no VRBO fee.

2 wonderful weeks in Kauai

We stayed at Kiahuna for the 3rd time (different unit each time) and will definitely return to this one! The size is perfect for a couple, maintained very well and the deck is PERFECT!

Overall good

Overall good but a few things could be improved. Condo is getting somewhat shopworn. Most importantly the living room carpet edge onto the tile is totally frayed and lifting up. Soon someone is going to trip on it and fall. Pointed it out to onsight management to have addressed. Lighting could be brighter. A couple of folding beach chairs that another had would have been nice.

Perfect spot on Kauai

My wife and I loved the property and the unit where we stayed. Being able to walk to the beach in a couple of minutes was fantastic. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay at this property

Thank you for the wonderfully decorated condo!! Our family enjoyed our stay here very much . The kitchen is well equipped. The beach is located near the condo and it took us less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach . There is a beach hut for us to borrow beach towels and it opens from 8am to 5:30pm. Laundry facility is located less than 3 minutes from our unit . The owner is very helpful with our stay and very responsive. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Kauai in the future.

Great Stay!

I've been coming to the Kiahuna Plantation for ages now. It's a great location on the sunny south side of the island, one of the best beaches is right out front, a short walk to the grocery store and shops, and it's always nice to have your own kitchen so you don't have to eat out all the time. The unit was great! And the AC was a pleasant surprise, very nice to come home from an all-day adventure to a cool room. Comfy and clean with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean. I would definitely come back again.

Comfortable and Lovely Poipu Condo

Kiahuna is a great place to stay and this condo was lovely. The AC was exceptional after spending the day in the sun. Greatly enjoyed sitting on the lanai and the partial ocean view.

Lovely home

Condo is part of Kiahuna Plantation, a beautifully maintained property. Condo location is perfect to get morning lattes at Little Fish Coffee across the street, as well as an easy walk to the beach. In November, it was easy getting a beach chair from the hut. Unit is very nicely furnished. Slept well. Plenty of kitchen articles. A cooler!

Great Location

Such a great location. Short walk to a beautiful beach with access to chairs and towels. Nice that the unit was supplied with an umbrella and cooler. The kitchen had everything we needed and having a full size refrigerator was nice. The unit got hot in the afternoon when we forgot to close the blinds but the AC unit cooled it down quickly. Quiet location and close to shopping, grocery stores and restaurants. We'll definently return.

We spent our honeymoon in Hawaii and from that first trip we knew we would be back several times. After many trips back to Hawaii, we finally took the plunge and purchased our own Hawaiian home. It was the best investment we ever made. We love our little piece of paradise.
