Beauty, comfort, quality, and value are what best describes this spacious renovated one bedroom condominium in sunny Poipu! This is a real gem with stunning ocean and mountain views from the lanai that backs up onto Prince Kuhio Park, a lush, quiet open space that meets the sea.

This large one-bedroom has all the comforts of home and then some. It is in a quiet location in the middle of the second floor. The living room overlooks a lush tropical garden with Japanese Koi pond, relaxing waterfalls, a new pool, and picnic and barbecue areas.

All of this is across the street from two sandy beaches for swimming, snorkeling, surfing, and diving. Hawaiian sea turtles and tropical fish swim close to shore in a protected cove, and in season, whales breach in the distance.

You will enjoy the sound of the ocean, the birds singing, the tropical breeze, and the amazing sunrise every day from your lanai. With wall-to-wall windows in the living room, cooling trade winds blow through the condo. Snorkel, dive, fishing, and ocean tours, as well as tennis, golf, and restaurants are also nearby.

Over the Moon in Kauai

The property was EXACTLY as described in the post. We had the perfect room, view and location. The island breeze was very pleasant and the property was clean and easy access! We will return! Mahalo

Prince Kuhio condos

Very clean comfortable condo in Poipu, away from all the resorts but close to everything. Swimming pool was very nice as were the grounds and landscaping.

Well stocked and a great location

We liked how close we were to beaches. The kitchen was unusually well stocked and the communal gas grill was a pleasure to use. We would definitely go back.

Nice condo

This condo is impressively well-stocked with tons of kitchen utensils (more than we have in our kitchen at home!), beach chairs and umbrellas and even a first-aid kit. Very spacious 1 bedroom unit with a view of the park and ocean. We would definitely stay here again.

Great view

The room was clean, and the view from the balcony at sunrise was dreamy. The kitchen has everything and we were able to cook dinner every night. The host provides a small cooler to use throughout the stay and to take home, this was great for packing snacks for day trips. They also provide a few larger coolers for grocery shopping and beach day. Definitely enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful little spot!

This place was great! Beautiful view, comfy king bed, super clean and included everything you need! Its close enough to the Kukui'ula shopping center to walk. We did, almost every day. Also the Beach House restaurant is amazing and conveniently located right across the street. We rented a car for 3 days and there was plenty of parking. No AC but it wasn't needed, there is a great breeze that blows through. Also, I very much appreciated the ear plugs in the medicine cabinet... the roosters outside wake up early 😂

This property is well-stocked with kitchen ware, so it's easy to cook if you choose. The grounds are beautiful and the hosts let you use beach chairs, beach towels and coolers, which is great. While the breeze is lovely, we really missed air conditioning during the day. Sleeping was comfortable--though the roosters start crowing any time after about 3:15 AM, so with the sliders open, you really hear them.

Kauai in June

The property was clean and comfortable. There is a view of the ocean. The unit is well stocked. There is no AC but the nice ocean breeze and fans made the unit comfortable. The best snorkeling on the island was at the beach just a block away. We would stay here again. My only complaint was having to return the keys in a location not convenient to our departure. ( miles away). Would recommend local drop off.

Our First Time to Kauai

It is the cleanest condo in which we have ever stayed. My wife is a germaphobe and was very pleased. We liked the size of the complex which was small and quiet. It was our first trip to Kauai and it now our favorite island! The staff at Kauai Vacation Rentals have been very helpful and wonderful with whom to work!

Very clean, good location

This condo was spotless. Probably the cleanest VRBO I've ever stayed in. Views from balcony were good. Distant view of ocean. Can hear ocean waves crashing at night with windows open. No AC but we had no issues with that in mid May. Temperature was very comfortable. Lots of roosters growing in early am though with windows open was only downfall, but we found a jar of ear plugs in the bathroom cabinet which I thought was great and thoughtful to have! Great location. Short walk to the beautiful Lawai beach for snorkeling or a beautiful sunset. Short drive to Poipu beach and the shopping center for shopping and restaurants. Loved this spot for our south shore adventures. Would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at Prince Kuhio for a little over a week. It was a great condo and a great location. We felt like we were at home there. The kitchen was great and stocked with many appliances and utensils needed to cook many of the meals that we made while there. The bed was super comfy. There is no AC, but that wasn’t much of a problem. We left the sliding door open in the bedroom to allow air to flow through until we heard the roosters. Then we’d get up and close it and fall right back asleep. And is located across the street from The Beach House Rest and Lawai Beach. We’ve not gone to the right of the restaurant several times. We took walks to Holoholo Grill, local shopping, and evening walk, going past the restaurant. On our evening walk, we brought a flashlight and saw crabs on the beach and other critters here and there. We had the greatest time and felt so relaxed and comfortable in this home! So thankful!

My only two issues were, parking is not always available, unless you came back early, not even in the parking garage. Also, we got in at 11:30 pm, definitely ready to go to bed and there were no sheets on the bed. Maybe just an oversight, but we had to put our own sheets on the bed.

Great location, lots of room, big pool

Very comfortable condo with every possible kitchen appliance (including pretty serving trays and pitcher) and beautiful interior design. No place to put groceries, though, except on the counter. The beach is just a few steps away, with great snorkeling. The listing said there was a washer and dryer but it was out of order. This was inconvenient as we had packed light, assuming we had access. The complex had a laundry but it was always busy. We called Home Away Kauai, and they argued that the listing didn't include a washer and dryer. They later apologized and said they would investigate the situation.

Lovely Location

LOTS of glasses, dishes and cookware. You could easily serve a crowd! They also provide beach towels, coolers, beach chairs--all much appreciated. While I would have preferred AC, once you open the shutter windows at the front and the bedroom sliders at the back, the ocean breezes were terrific. The view from the balcony is sublime. The roosters were early risers and LOUD, but beautifully feathered. The location is close to restaurants, touring and shopping, and the condo complex's pool and gardens are gorgeous. We had some challenges with the TV, but that wasn't a huge problem. This was a lovely respite...

Great location with unforeseeable circumstances

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our condo had not been cleaned when we arrived causing us to wait an additional 4 hours to get into our unit. Then we experienced torrential rain with flooding into the park and the basement of the condo, losing hot water for four days and incredible loss for the owners and residents. Kauai Vacation Rentals were very supportive and helpful in both situations. This condo is actually a little gem. The unit is small but adequate and well equipped. Our condo had a comfortable bed, a great view of the park and ocean from the lanai and foliage on the living room side. The pool was a welcome retreat, especially with the brown water advisory for the ocean. The BBQ area is lovely. Residents and guests are friendly. We have stayed in a different unit as well as this one and would willingly return. There is no elevator so be prepared to climb stairs. The location is walking distance to snorkeling, beaches, spouting horn, the National Botanical Gardens and Kukui'ula Shopping Center. Mahalo....we look forward to returning to the island again!

Looking at your picture of the ocean view from the lanai was exactly what we experienced, perfection! The place was immaculate, very comfortable and had literally everything we needed and more. We usually are on the go and don’t hang out in the place we’re staying in but here, we spent more time (mostly on the lanai) and were so comfortable. I was originally concerned about no AC but the breeze was all we needed it added to the island experience. Looking forward to our return visit, highly recommend. A big mahalo! ❤️
