Washington Family Property, Lower Carriage House in Old Town on 107 S Lee Street

Location:
At this location, you would be 50 feet from the intersection of King and Lee Street, which is the most popular location of all the best restaurants in Old Town, all of which have outdoor seating. Additionally you would be just a block and a half from the Potomac and the park that runs along the water (with ferry access) all the way to DC. You simply cannot beat this location.

Parking:
There is on-street paid parking from Monday through Saturday, and street parking is always free on Sundays and federal Holidays. Unpaid parking is available 150 feet (west) in the Burke and Herbert parking lot after 5pm on weekdays and after 1pm on Saturdays. You also have the option to park at the covered garage immediately across the street between Lee and Union Street (115 S Union Street) for $17 per day and $10 overnight (sign details below). There are 3 other lots all in about a 1.5 block radius as well with similar rates.

Metro/Trolley Service:
A benefit of the location is that the King Street Trolley is a free shuttle that runs to the metro every 15 minutes. It starts one block from the house (City Hall/Market Square) and ends at the King Street Old Town Metrorail station. It runs from 11am to 11pm, seven days a week, including holidays.
