A sunlit mountain-view getaway awaits when you select Moffitt Branch as your home base in Asheville. This dog-friendly escape sits on a sprawling property and offers ample room to relax and entertain both inside and outside. With an open-concept floor plan, your group will be sure to enjoy every moment. The spacious covered patio is the ideal spot to make memories - gather on the cushioned sitting around the gas firepit or watch the game on the flatscreen outdoor TV. A table presents rooms for card games or an alfresco meal.

Unwind next to the gas fireplace for movie nights on the flatscreen TV in the living area. Or simply kick back on the plush sectional and take in the views from the plentiful windows. A full kitchen has all you need to create your favorite meals. When it’s time to dine, the table seats six to delectable dishes. The well-furnished bedrooms are perfect for resting your head after fun-filled days. When you want to venture out, find the area’s best attractions within a scenic drive.

Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.Free high-speed WiFi and cable.The family dogs are welcome for a small nightly fee.Please note that there are Ring cameras on all three doors (disabled when guests are on-site).This property is managed by Vacasa North Carolina LLC.All Vacasa properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. No more dogs are allowed.
Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.

AWESOME VACATION!

In the last 5 years we've stayed in 3 different locations while all have been great the Moffit branch house was my favorite. The peaceful location along with the spacious area and amenities it really stands out! I would recommend this to EVERYONE that is looking to visit Asheville. I honestly hope this house is available next year because we will DEFINITELY be staying again THANK YOU VACASA!

This house isn't horrible but it was probably the worst condition of any rental we have ever stayed in. It smells, feels, and looks like an elderly family member passed and the family rented the home out without updating, cleaning, or repairing anything. The photos on the listing made it look very nice compared to what you get. The outdoor couch area was very dirty and not even blown off after they mowed the lawn. We had to clean the table and couch before using. There were wrappers and rags from the previous renters on the floor in the master, counters were very sticky in the kitchen, no swing like listed in the photos, no k cup coffee maker like the listing states. This has the potential of being a great property but we expect cleaner conditions when paying high dollar for a rental. We will be staying elsewhere next year and would not recommend this property.

Older home but great location

Older home. The pictures do not represent its current state on the exterior. The beds were very comfortable. It is in a great location. The kitchen is well stocked. A few lights and outlets didn't work. The water pressure in the shower was incredibly low, problems that come with an older home. However, the management company doesn't appear to be keeping up the property very well, as there were stains on the carpets, vines growing all over the porch, and the backyard space was dirty including an unusable firepit.

Great time at Moffitt Branch

We very much enjoyed our stay at Moffitt Branch, especially morning coffee on the front porch. Outdoor space is perfect for Saturday afternoon football! Would definitely rent this property again.

Great location and beautiful home!

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was in a perfect location close to a grocery store and a short drive to downtown. The house was equipped with many amenities, and we enjoyed our stay! Thank you so much!!

Great stay

The location of the house is excellent, right between Black Mountain and downtown Asheville, and very close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The house layout was great, and we especially loved the ample outdoor space. We had a 5 year old in our group, who loved the big front and back yard. Great for chasing fireflies in the summer! We hope to return in the future.

Octogenarians visit the Biltmore

Long weekend with my parents, sister and pup to visit the Biltmore and enjoy Asheville and a short hike. Perfect property, lots of space indoors and outside. It rained 3 days and the covered outside table and comfy furniture were great for dinner, morning coffee, afternoon naps. We had fun studying the family photos on the hallway telling a story of multi-generational happiness. Quiet, private location, 10-20 drive to breweries, downtown, Biltmore and hiking. Property management responded immediately.

Magic each time

Every time our group stays at this beautiful property, we experience such magic. The house feels like home and warmth during the holidays with family. We love watching the sunsets from the top of the property line. This time, our friend got down on his knee and proposed to his future wife in the backyard while the sky changed colors and the sun descended! We also enjoy movies and games in the family room by the fire. The wind chimes in the back patio area with the outdoor TV and additional fire place is bliss when the cool air blows and the foliage surrounds. We love this place and look forward to it every year!

Perfect Getaway!

This was a wonderful experience! The house was the cleanest I have ever seen from a VRBO property! The management company was highly engaging from start to finish! The outside fire pit was the perfect way to end the day exploring Black Mountain and Asheville.

Amazing view!

We enjoyed our stay at Moffitt Branch! The house is just as described and is very convenient to the highway and sites of Asheville. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals. We would stay again!

Moffit Branch

Very clean and well equipped. Older house. The living room and patio were excellent gathering spots for morning coffee and evening wine and conversation. Fantastic bird watching. Close to the interstate to go to day adventures and sightseeing.

Lovely home

This is a very nice place to stay. Clean and very close to the Biltmore. Has a very nice view from the living room. Plenty of room for our party of six and had room for two more comfortably.

Wonderful home

The house is absolutely beautiful and so are the views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was close to everything we were here to do! However, the beds are not great at all. Part of our family had to go rent additional hotel rooms to be able to sleep bc they fell into the mattress (not in a good way) and the platform was very unstable. It could work for children or very small adults. Maybe some toppers or real mattresses/frames would help. I would absolutely come back to the house even with the bed issues. The gathering areas were perfect for sitting around as a family! Thank you for sharing it with us!

Pretty view

The home was easy to get to and had a nice view of the mountains. The beds were comfy. Aside from dusty picture frames, the home was pretty clean. The bathrooms are pretty outdated. We wished there would have been blinds or shades on the windows (especially in the bedrooms). The moonlight lit up the bedrooms and the solar tiki torches reflect on the wall in the master bedroom. We had a nice stay!

East Asheville Gem up on a hill

What a location! Having lived in Asheville for 15 years, we have a fondness for the quiet of East Asheville and the proximity to downtown and to parkway. You'd be hard pressed to find a better outdoor space in a local rental. The indoor space was cozy and clean, but slightly dated and a little small for two families. It was also a little odd moving in a vacation rental for a week with all the (I'm assuming owners') family photos lining the hallway, and my children were slightly unnerved at first, but we got use to them. You can tell there was generations of love in this house. There are no window treatments on the windows, but if you don't mind waking up with the sun, it won't matter. You still have a lot of privacy. Ultimately the outdoor space and location made it a winner in our books.
