Escape to this charming lakeside cottage on a beautiful all-sports lake, located just 10 miles southwest of Munising. Enjoy the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility—close to the stunning attractions of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore while tucked away from the crowds and surrounded by nature.

Spend your days swimming, fishing, kayaking, or simply relaxing by the water. The property features a private dock, fire pit, and propane grill, making it easy to enjoy everything lake life has to offer. As the sun sets, gather around the campfire, roast marshmallows, and take in the incredible stargazing opportunities under the clear Upper Peninsula sky.

The cottage comfortably sleeps 6 guests with three queen beds. Please note that the third bedroom is a pass-through room. For added fun on the water, guests have access to shared lake toys, including kayaks, a paddle board, and a paddle boat.

Whether you’re seeking outdoor adventure or a peaceful retreat, this cozy lakefront getaway is the perfect place to create lasting memories with family and friends.

Please note: No pets are allowed.

***Please note, this is well water and while it is safe to drink, it does have a smell to it.

***Door code will be released the day of check-in for security purposes.

The cabin worked good for a girls weekend. Took a while to find the 3rd bedroom with the door shut:). We were out and about most of the time so no cooking but plenty of supplies if we had needed too. Thanks much!!

Our second fall coming to Pictured Rocks and staying at this lake. A great spot and a cute cabin. Very homey!

Peaceful, comfortable stay

We loved the view and peaceful setting (stayed in October). We found the home very well equipped to make our stay comfortable. We had 3 teens, two parents, and a 1 yr old in pack n play. Teens loved being able to kayak on the lake. We would come again.

Great, secluded house

The house was clean, spacious and had all the amenities for a no hassle stay. The only problem I experienced was that the property manager tried sending me paperwork and it wouldn't come through. We had a blast and would definitely stay in the house again. I can't wait until our next visit!

Great Place!!!!

Great place, despite a visit from a mouse! Lol The cabin was very clean, it had everything we needed, except for mouse traps and it could've used a few more fans. My kids loved using the kayaks and fishing poles! We were close to town and spent a lot of much needed family time and got to relax. The owners were very nice when they came out about the break in. We definitely want to rent this cabin again next Summer! Really great experience!

UP Falls and Color Tour

Owners, Robin and Jim, were quite accommodating when we got there, no power due to a downed power line. Next day, toilet broke they went got parts fixed before we returned from hiking. Amazing views with a quirky bedroom layout. Loved the two seated path to a bath. Wish had more time to enjoy! !potty.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Really great rental, as advertised. Quiet, good wildlife in the area. The kitchen was well stocked, all the windows operated well. All the water toys were in good shape, we brought fishing gear we didn't need.I would download offline maps if you use google maps, the cell service is lacking but google maps gets you right to the house if you've downloaded.We brought drinking water as the other reviews explained the well water - and they were correct.I would stay again - loved the remote location.

Beautiful lake!!It was a good location for us! The water smell is a bit strong but was warned by owner in description so we were prepared for that. Plenty of everything we needed including coffee pods, towels, linens, etc. Very nice relaxing cabin! I would recommend! Also, rental company was very responsive after informing them that we had not gotten email with door code. The lady at rental company immediately emailed us the info.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We brought our friends and family to this nice quiet cottage. To get to one of the queen beds, you must go through one of the bedrooms. It does have a folding door between the two. The lake was wonderful and very close to Munising to do all the tourist activities in town. I highly recommend Main Street Pizza in town (if they are open, staffing shortages). I would recommend this cottage for your UP stay! Four out of Five stars! Lovely view, nice facilities but whomever was there last did not do a very good job washing the dishes. Otherwise everything was clean and I was highly satisfied.

Highly recommend! Everything was great. The location was wonderful for a family get away. The kayaks were so fun to use. The location was secluded and safe. Cell service is spotty but there is WiFi for you to use. We hope to be return guest the next time we come to MI!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very relaxing time at 16 mile lake. My husband and I need to get away and just relax with a few side trips thrown in. And this cottage offered that. Its an older cottage but well kept. Our only problem was we picked the HOTTEST time in history(102) to stay and the cottage didnt have air conditioning. I knew going into it but who would have guessed 100 degree temps in the U.P. The location on the lake is wonderful but town is a distance if you want to grab dinner or lunch. Overall its a great little spot. Also the info said the water stinks....I didn't notice any smell. But we are use to well water. Hope you take the time to enjoy this cottage.

The guys enjoyed fishing off the dock and the campfire was close to the water. All beds comfortable and we slept well. About 10 minute drive to town. We enjoyed the cabin's location deep in the forest. We were surprised the owner's lived next to the property, but they were very nice.
