We stayed here to attend a wedding at The Veranda. Great proximity to the venue, groceries, airport, etc. The home was very comfortable for us, including my elderly parents and college-aged kids. Plenty of room to have our space, plus games, puzzles, and golf (putting course)! Host was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Definitely recommend.

We didn't use the outdoor area because of the heat, but it would be ideal for a spring or fall stay. It was a nice area to sit and read a book. Easy walking distance to fast food, grecery store and best os all, Starbuck's!

Great Space

our stay was great, the hosts were responsive, the space was clean, and had everything you needed. We used it for a small work retreat and the multiple spaces inside and out provided a great environment.

Family Reunion

We had a wonderful stay! Tanya and Kent were very kind, welcoming, and responsive. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It was a perfect place to connect with family.

Great Stay, with Great Accommodations and fun for all ages.

Our stay was just for the weekend, but we had family of different ages. We all enjoyed ourselves with games to keep the teenagers busy. The adults were able to just hang out inside and outside areas. The home was very clean and organized- we loved it. We recommend to all families.

Clean and Spacious

We met family to celebrate Christmas. The house easily accommodated our group of 8. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are well stocked with fluffy towels and soaps and lotions. We did not cook, but the kitchen had everything needed. They had stocked the fridge with water and Coke and left a crumb cake and bottle of wine to greet us. We used the putting green, played corn hole and badminton in the backyard. The location is excellent. 20 minutes to the zoo and the Pearl and the Riverwalk. Walking distance to the best breakfast tacos in town. Highly recommend staying here!

Great San Antonio Location

The house was perfect for our family/friends trip to San Antonio. The house was clean, well maintained, and communications with the host were fantastic (she even provided a cake for my wife's birthday along with a bottle of wine). The A/C unit was able to keep the house comfortable despite the number of people and the 100 F temperatures. The backyard and patio was perfect for our group, with lots of room and even a putting green for my Dad. Inside, there was a game room (with lots of board games and a ping pong table) for when it was too hot to go out. The house was close to the airport without being noisy and the house had easy access to all the attractions in San Antonio. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There were many close (and good!) restaurants plus a full kitchen for when we wanted to cook on our own. The two dining areas were perfect for our meals with all our family and friends. All the rooms were on one level for our elderly family members. Both slots in the garage were available for vehicles. The main entrance did have ONE step down and two of the three baths had a step down shower, but we entered/exited via the garage and there was a no-step BIG shower, so our elderly family members were okay. If we come back to San Antonio with a large group, we will put this house first on our list.

Wonderful home for extended family trip

This well-equipped, lovely home in a quiet, established neighboorhood was perefect for our multi-generational family gathering. We were seeking several bedrooms for our group of 8 made up of 3 married couples and 2 single adults from ages 20 to 87, plus minimal steps to an entrance, and adequate gathering spaces to "hang out". This home was so well-equipped, including lots of king beds, a/c and fans for hot weather, most any kitchen item one could need, and plenty of fun things to do. Who would expect a putting green outside, corn-hole, a game room with ping-pong, a grill and dining tables inside and out? We ate in using the kitchen and outdoor grill AND enjoyed great Texax bbq and Mexican restaurants nearby. The location was great--in between the airport, fun spots like Top Golf and Andretti carting to the north, and the city center to the south. Tanya and Kent were so helpful before, during and after our stay--surprising us with a birthday cake, resolving a grill question, coming to help reunite us with earpods left in a pile of towels (we'd checked the house 3 times!). We'd highly recommend this to other groups of adults and families. Thanks Tanya and Kent!

Excellent Place to Stay!

Stayed at Par 5 for a wedding with a large group and we were well taken care of! Excellent communication with the homeowners and everyone loved the comfortable home and all the amenities provided! Definitely works well for large groups that want seperate rooms!

Our goal is to spoil our guests with all the comforts of home with high quality linens, beds, and amenities. We have your comfort in mind with each selection we make. We chose Par 5 for the name as we have golfers in the family, a backyard putting green and 5 bedrooms. As our family always enjoys competitive game nights, we have stocked the home with lots of our favorite games such as Dominos, Rummikub, Clue, Backgammon, along with games for the little ones and of course, a Ping-Pong Table! Puzzles are a must on our getaways, and we have shared our favorites with you. Our home is perfect for large groups, get-togethers and family get-aways. We have a well-stocked kitchen with new and modern dinnerware, glasses, silverware, and cookware. Please come stay with us and enjoy our home away from home. Relax, have fun and enjoy! We live close-by and are a phone call away.
