Ranchos Retreat has everything you need to be your southern Utah hub for adventure. It's central to not only Zion National Park, but also Bryce Canyon and the Coral Pink Sand Dunes, The Wave and many other iconic locations.

The Space:
Bring the whole family! Ranchos Retreat's generous 3-bedroom layout comfortably sleeps up to nine adults, or 10 altogether with the comfy sofa sleeper perfect for two little adventurers. We've even got a pack n' play crib waiting for your tiniest explorer.

Master Bedroom - King bed, double sofa sleeper, workstation, night stands, closet, ensuite bathroom.
Ensuite Bathroom - Double vanity, tiled walk-in shower.
Guest Bedroom 1 - King bed, table, night stands, closet.
Guest Bathroom - Vanity, shower/tub combo.
Guest Bedroom 2 - Two queen beds, night stand, closet.
Half Bath - Connected to Guest Bedroom 2.
Living Room - Open floor plan, sectional couch, chairs, large flat screen TV, gas fireplace.
Kitchen - Fully stocked, stainless steel appliances, cookware, dishes and silverware, Crock Pot and more.

The Neighborhood:
Ranchos Retreat is located in the Kanab Creek Ranchos, a very family-friendly neighborhood nestled against the hills surrounding Kanab. It's a short drive to Ranchos Park, which has a playground and plenty of space to relax and play your favorite games in the large, open, grassy space. The park also includes a walking trail - perfect for going on a stroll with your loved ones!

There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops.

Getting Around:
This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon.

Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places.

Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.

The house was perfect for our group! It was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The property managers made some great recommendations for things to do in the area. We Used Kanab as home base as we visited Zion, Bryce Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Overall great stay!

Amazing Stay!

We had a wonderful stay in Kanab. Home was immaculate and a very comfortable space! The beds and linens were cozy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Very quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed star gazing on the back patio at night. Communication was excellent. We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent Kanab stay

Excellent stay for our group at Micahā€™s property in Kanab UT. Very quiet neighborhood with many critters running around (especially deer). This property was clean and spacious, with good room privacy and function. Great location for adventures near Kanab - the Wave, Bucksking Gulch, Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend - to name a few. Easy check-in and great communication. Would definitely stay here again with a 5-6 person group.

Perfect Southern Utah Basecamp!

The Ranchos Retreat Summa was the perfect property for our group staying 4 days in southern Utah. The property is pristine and well appointed. The check-in and communication was easy. The owners provided great information on local attractions and even a concierge service! Kanab is a great town with lots of dining options. The proximity to all the natural attractions make this a great destination. We will definitely be back!

Excellent Vacation Spot to tour Southern Utah

From the moment we walked in, the family loved the home we selected to finish off our vacation. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the kitchen spotless and the overall hospitality was fabulous. The views from the backyard were fabulous to see the sun bounce off the red cliffs which could be easily seen. Nighttime star gazing was another great win with this property. Proximity to the grocery stores and restaurants was a nice bonus. Another great thing about this VRBO was the contact with Eric who offered to help us with just about everything we could have wanted, from tips on the area, booking tours to just our stay in general. I wish every VRBO was just like this one! We'd book this location again without hesitation!

Perfect house in a perfect location

We took our grandchildren (10 & 12) on a road trip to Zion and Grand Canyon North Rim. We found this house to be in a great location...about halfway between the two parks. The house was very clean and much roomier than expected. There were just the 4 of us, but the house could easily have accommodated 8. We are also VRBO owners/managers (399021ha) and know how much work it takes to make a great vacation rental. We appreciate the hard work and great communication from our hosts.

Great house for UTV base camp

House was just as listed. Had plenty of space and everything we needed. Well kept and in a nice quite area of Kanab. Plenty of parking for 3 trucks with trailers. Communication with property owner was amazing. I ask a lot of questions and they were always answered within a few minutes of being asked. We will absolutely consider this house in the future. The only negative we found was that the walls are very thin. This didn't affect our ability to have a great time though! We could hear the water heater, and ice machine in the fridge at night. If you have anyone who snores in your group, take ear plugs! GREAT HOUSE! THANKS FOR LETTING US USE IT!

Clean and spacious home

We enjoyed our stay here- the property was very clean, modern, spacious, and well stocked with the basic necessities. The master bed was a bit lumpy but fairly comfortable. It was a nice touch for the property to provide charcoal and wood for those inclined to use the grill or fire pit. FYI for those traveling w pets- the backyard is not fully fenced but fenced about 3/4 of the way as shown in the photos. It seemed very unusual to go to trouble to put up privacy fencing but not complete it- so I had inquired about this before booking the property but never received a reply. Our dogs are well behaved so it wasnā€™t a deal breaker. Once we booked the stay the communications with the property management company was excellent.

Great house

Worked well for our needs, nice base of operations for working at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Clean and good communication from the property manager. Definitely recommended. It's a little father away from "downtown" Kanab than a lot of other places in the area but if you needs lots of space in a nice new house it's a great deal.

We arrived after dark and it was a little difficult to see street signs with the headlights. Blinds at the bedroom windows would have been nice to keep our headlights and/or sunrises! Lots of unexpected ā€œlittle thingsā€ were provided (condiments, coffee & filters, toilet paper, laundry and body soaps, bundle of wood for the fire pitā€¦). These were much appreciated! Our overall stay was fabulous! Thank you!
