Located just over the Cribstone Bridge within walking distance to local restaurants, shops, beaches, and boat launches, Broadview offers endless opportunities for your summer vacation!

Inside this Bailey Island studio, you'll find an open floorplan, sunlit living spaces, a stocked kitchen, queen bed, and beautiful ocean vistas to the North and West. You'll love waking up in the morning and drinking coffee or tea on the deck, taking a walk to Garrison Cove to launch your kayak or boat to explore the coast, walking to Cook's Lobster & Ale House to enjoy delicious Maine Cuisine, and ending your evening back on the deck with your favorite beverage to watch the sunset over the bay.

We had a wonderful stay at this residence in Bailey Island! It was spacious, clean and check in/check out was seamless. The bed was comfortable, and the porch was relaxing place to end our night and look at the stars!

Perfect spot for a two-night stay for my wife and me over Labor Day weekend 2025. The apartment is well located, bedding is super comfortable and kitchen has everything you need. Side deck is perfect for sunsets and star gazing. Would definitely recommend!

The property was lovely. It had beautiful view and the location was very quiet. Well stocked with everything we needed. Our only issue was the hardness of the bed. We actually went and bought a topper and pillows that were more to our liking. Otherwise the property was perfect.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 4th time staying at Broadview and, as always, it was lovely. The location is peaceful, the apartment is well appointed and clean, and the folks at MaineStay are responsive and kind. Since last year, the owner has cut down a tree and some additional foliage, giving the property a much better view of the water. This added to our enjoyment of the property. We look forward to staying again next year!

Maine stay

This little cottage on Bailey island was adorable and was everything my boyfriend and I needed for a long weekend away! The host was very easy to contact which was a bonus! Definitely would recommend!

Clean and comfortable

The property is clean, comfortable, and well appointed, a great pied-a-terre for exploration of the midcoast region, with lots of trails nearby, kayak rentals, and a good seafood place within walking distance. Brunswick is just up the road, within easy reach for shopping and dining out. (Not to be missed in Brunswick: Dog Bar Jim coffee…)

Clean and most pleasant.The only thing I'd complain about is directions to the beach were murky (it's up the hill across the road), and the fridge is an adventure.

We love Broadview!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in Broadview 3 times because we feel so comfortable there. It’s a lovely efficiency-type apartment over a large garage. As photos show, it’s modern and has great furnishings. It’s always sparkling clean when we arrive, the bed is comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. We enjoy morning coffee/tea on the deck, listening to sea and land birds. We are senior citizens, and we do not have trouble with the stairs, but you should be aware that there are stairs to negotiate. The MaineStay people are terrific, too, very informative and responsive. The owners have a home across the large lawn, and we rarely see them, but when we do, there’s always a friendly wave. Also, there are 2 good restaurants within walking distance, and you can buy lobsters off the boat down at Mackerel Cove.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The apartment was in a good location. The stairs were a problem as we are near 80 and the stairs are not up to modern codes. They are steep and the treads are narrow. The road is dirt with two houses on it and hard to see from the road. It is near several restaurants which was convenient.

A lovely getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Bright and airy above-garage studio with a very comfortable bed on delightful Bailey Island. Owners were on-site in their home for most of our stay, friendly but not intrusive. There are 2 good restaurants within easy walking distance. We (ages 71 and 75) had no trouble with the stairs. Basic spices in the kitchen, plus some extras, but we didn’t cook much. So pleasant to have my morning tea on the deck, listen to the birds and get some views of the bay through the trees. I would suggest a shade, curtain or frosted glass for the bathroom window, as the window overlooks the property next door. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return next year!

Lovely studio in the heart of Bailey Island

We enjoyed our stay and loved our time on Bailey Island. I did give this property a 5 but there's a few things I would like to point out for future guest that could pose an inconvenience. The unit does not have central air condition which is very typical for homes in this area. However, during our stay, it was higher than normal temperatures. This unit is a garage apartment with many windows to let in the beautiful scenery, as well as the sunlight and heat. At night we were comfortable with the fan and all windows open. During the afternoon hours, it was too warm to stay in and we kept ourselves busy out and about sightseeing. Because we had all windows open at night, in the early mornings, we could hear the boats leaving the harbor, the traffic on the main road, and the neighbor doing a building project. We didn't mind the small inconveniences, but being a VRBO owner myself, I know some people will, and therefore my reason for sharing this information.

It’s perfect for two, comfortable bed, kitchen well-supplied, (not that we cooked much) in a quiet area. There’s a deck that’s perfect for early morning tea and reading or afternoon wine, plenty of birdsong and a bit of a view of the bay. Two restaurants close enough to walk to, hiking nearby. Just perfect for us!
