Jill is an excellent host. Worked with us due to a need to change places last minute. So thankful!The house is lovely. The pictures are accurate yet walking in the front door one is even more delighted with the living room. Spacious yet cozy. The kitchen and dining nook was great to workin. The dining room is spacious though we didn't really need it.Office area was excellent and was able to work while the rest in the house could "do their thing"Bedrooms were spacious and comfy. The bathroom had so many cool features too many to list.The gym is brilliant and yes the washer/dryer came in handy.Neighborhood is very nice we enjoyed our morning walk. Close to everything - we were amazed at the convenience to so many places - Botanica, Exploration Place, McConnell AFB, Downtown and more.If available this is our new first choice in Wichita

The property regarding uniqueness was a bit far to digest. First all the overall profile stated 3 bedrooms and photos for the property showed 3 bedrooms. Additionally, the owner called after we messaged her regarding only two beds for a party of six to a university graduation. She finally explains that the house had an Air Mattress in a closet and that is also required for us the pump air in the mattress for use. Again, this was not listed in her profile. This was one item, the second item was the dust on all the wood furniture that had not been clean for some time. The two beds that were available to sleep on had not been clean since it was used last. I say this because the mattress linen had granules of dust inside the bedding. No extra linens were available to change them . We had a code given to us for the garage door by the owner, however there is no control panel to insert the code to place our car in a safe place. Also, there is much weed growth over the front garage door that we decided not to try to open the door. The house is an older home that with a little extra care could possibly be a gem. The outside lawn is terrible, the entry from the street to the garage lacks cleaning as well as the front gate to the house. There is only on bathroom which makes it a bit awkward for a few guests or family members. In closing and with all respect, the persons who are in charge of cleaning overall need a good talking to. Perhaps paint the front door entry as well.

Great location!

This is a cute house in the wonderful college hill area. It was near everywhere we wanted to go while in town. Also close enough to downtown. There a nice workout room and great coffee and hot tea selection.

3 night stay

This was a super neat house to stay in. I really loved the sense that I was staying in a historic home. Lots of good places to eat within a 5-10 minute driving distance. Hostess was very responsive and the check in/out process was seamless. I loved that there was coffee, creamer, AND Splenda available. It was also wonderful that shampoo, conditioner, and soap were all there. One less thing to pack! Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Hosting

I have family in Wichita but none of them have a home large enough. We like to cook and play games, this house was perfect for hosting Thanksgiving. I would highly recommend! It is located in a beautiful part of town so close to so many things to do. Booking, checking in and out was a breeze.

Super cute property, all the essentials

Home is located in downtown Wichita. We were in town for a wrestling tournament at Kansas Star Casino, we only spent the night but the property was perfect. The host really thought of everything! Thank you for having COFFEE! We will definitely look to book again next year!

Does not sleep 7

The property does not sleep 7. The listing shows bedroom 1 queen bed, gym queen bed, gym queen bed, living room twin bed. There are not 3 queen beds or a twin bed. The listing should say sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 queen bed, bedroom 2 queen bed. And nothing about a twin bed in the living room. I communicated with the owner about the problem and was told I should look more closely at the pictures, and that an air mattress (that loses air and does not have a complete sheet set or pillows) can be found in a closet. Pictures can show or not show reality, with no point of reference, the details/description is where accurate info should be found. One of my guests slept on the sofa in the living room (is this the twin bed?) and another slept on an air mattress I had to bring from my home in Wichita. I sent more communication with the owner and was given no response. To me, this is not ok. After fees, I paid over $500 to have my out of town family sleep on a sofa and air mattress. The home has cool character, and on a quiet street, although not on one of the nicer streets in College Hill.

Clean, spacious, lovely home

This home was close to Wesley Hospital for my surgery and the home was wonderful for my recovery time. We will book this home again when we come to Wichita for pleasure. Great location and quiet neighborhood.

WSU parents stay

This property is in a good location if you would like to visit the WSU campus. The kitchen is fully stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, pots, pans and even coffee and tea. We cooked multiple times and also liked the dishwasher! The bathroom and laundry were also stocked with shampoo and conditioner, soap and lotion and some toilet paper. The only thing we had to pick up was Kleenex, and napkins. The house has a lot of character, some a bit creepy (the knights in armor in the hall) - it is very old with nice hard wood floors, with an updated bathroom and plenty of room for 2-4 people. Both bedrooms have a queen bed, one soft mattress and one pretty firm. Decent closet space with plenty of hangers but the rooms need a small dresser for undergarments, we just kept our suitcase on the closet floor for the items we could not hang up. We stayed in early spring so the yard could have used a little cleanup as there were lots of leaves from fall. The weather was too cool at night for us to sit outside by the fire pit but we did sit out front during the day when it was warm. Overall, we had a nice stay and would recommend for a family visiting WSU.

Such a Great Place!

This was such a beautiful property! Loved the charm and location! It was so comfortable and cozy! We come to Wichita about 3 times a year and I am so happy I found this place so I can book again! If you like walking it was fun to walk to Frank Lloyd Wright’s house… The gym was perfect for a quick workout! thank you to the owner for everything!

Beautiful and warm

First let me start by saying this is a beautiful older home with so much character. It is spacious , the beds were so comfortable and it was beautifully decorated. Our host was reachable and responsive. The only thing about this home was that the air wasn't cooling properly so it was quite warm, even at night. Our host was extremely responsive to this problem but unfortunately the fix was a bigger problem than could be handled in one day. We were only there for 3 nights and by the time we figured this out we only had one night left. Our host was willing to reimburse us for the last night if we wanted to go elsewhere. We chose to tough it out since we had fans available to help cool us off. We were still compensated even though we chose to stay and I have no doubt the the problem is being fixed at this moment. I would highly recommend staying in this home if you are ever in Wichita. In addition to being nice it is close to so many things. Only minutes from downtown with lots of food and entertainment near by.

Perfect stay!

This house was perfect! Nice fenced front yard, charming decor and incredibly comfortable beds and linens. This was truly the best stay I’ve had in a long time and I’ve stayed many places. The neighborhood is quiet but close to pretty much anything you need. Don’t hesitate to book!

There is plenty to do here in Wichita but the beach really calls our name and we travel to tropical locations as often as we can. We are a very active bunch. We love to find adventure and seek out the local spots where ever we go!
