Mt Baker Forest Cabin - Sauna, Hot Tub, Fire Pit

The perfect getaway, tucked in the trees of the Mt Baker National Forest. The Hideout is the perfect place to unwind after a day on the mountain, offering all the amenities you need to feel at home in the woods. Soak in the hot tub, de-stress in the sauna, cook a delicious meal in our well equipped kitchen and gather around the outdoor fire pit after a day full of outdoor adventures.

Access trails for biking, hiking, snowshoeing within minutes.

25 min drive to Mt Baker ski area.

5 min drive to Glacier, WA.


The Space:
The Hideout includes two living structures offering flexible accommodations for your group - ideal for couples, small families, or just the right amount of togetherness with your in-laws (6 adults maximum).

The main house features 2 bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with a private sauna. The main floor has an open concept living space with a fully equipped kitchen (including a refrigerator, microwave, electric range, and dishwasher), breakfast bar, dining table for 6, and a cozy living room with a smart TV and propane fireplace to snuggle up to. The lower bedroom has a full size bed with access to the outdoor deck. Upstairs we have another bedroom with a queen size bed that gets wonderful light, and a peaceful loft area with two twins.

The studio unit above the garage has a separate entrance and includes a queen size bed, bathroom with rain shower, small kitchenette (with refrigerator, microwave, and electric range), and small seating area.

The outdoor space includes a lovely deck surrounded by trees, hot tub with jets, and fire pit for those summer nights.

Guest access:
Guests have access to the entire home, outdoor deck, private hot tub, private sauna, yard and driveway.

Other things to note:
1) No pets, smoking, or parties please
2) Not accessibility friendly: includes stairs to reach front door, as well as in living areas.
3) Limited cell service: there is limited cell service in the Glacier area, so wifi is the main method of communication.
4) While our cabin is family friendly, kids should be supervised at all times. The cabin has a spiral staircase that can be dangerous for littles.
5) The front door entry and garage/driveway are equipped with cameras for your safety and ours.
6) Neighborhood Water Advisory
Our small neighborhood water system is currently under a precautionary boil-water advisory while county infrastructure upgrades are underway. The advisory recommends boiling tap water before drinking or cooking. The water is safe for showering, washing dishes, and hot tub use. Bottled drinking water is provided for guests.
