We couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The cabin was lovely. It was clean, modern, had a comfy bed, good water pressure in the shower, etc. The screened-in porch was so nice in the morning and evening. The location was private and wooded, but it was easy to get to. Tom and Keli were fantastic hosts and responded quickly to a question I had. This is a great place to stay for a romantic getaway or a weekend with friends.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. The cabin was in a pretty area that felt secluded even though there were other cabins nearby. The cabin was sparkling clean and welcoming. The screened porch was very large and relaxing and the view was amazing. We were able to see many deer and turkeys in the area. The two bedrooms were a nice size and both had king beds and a bathroom with each. The kitchen was nice and had nice appliances. Overall it was a great cabin and we hope to stay again in the future.

Cabin was clean, well furnished and decor was very nice. We love the screened in porch on the back spent a lot of time there. It was too warm to start a fire, but it sure did look inviting. Being too older couples we thought the lighting was a bit dim. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay. I will definitely be back again and highly recommend this property reservations were very simple and went smoothly.

Keith, I need to remember to point out all light switches for overhead lights have a dimmer (a little sliding lever right next to the switch); the dimmers must have been set below the max, because the max is very bright. Thanks for pointing this out, and for being our guests. Glad you enjoyed the stay, and hope your group will come back again! Tom and Keli

Our third stay at Deer Creek and once again LOVED everything! The house is in a great location and is very well equipped. We travel with my elderly parents and the house is very accessible for them! Sharon, We are thrilled you found our cabin to be so enjoyable. Most of our guests love the screened porch and fireplace on it, for morning coffee or evening relaxation time. We often see the deer along the creek from up there. The fall may be the best time of the year in the North Georgia mountains, so we look forward to your next stay. I grew up hiking and camping in the mountains and forests in the Appalachians and Rockies. Our discovery of the Blue Ridge area goes back to the 1990s, beginning with a cub-scout weekend in a cabin that I would have loved to own. My wife and I began looking for the right property years ago before finding the perfect little getaway. We have made this cabin what we have always wanted, knowing that people we share it with, including you, friends and family will appreciate the same great features. My wife and I have owned multiple properties for years; i work with folks in construction and she has done kitchen, bath and general remodeling and upgrading and decorating for decades. We apply all of our experience with what guests enjoy to making this a comfortable and beautiful home. We hope you will love your stays at Deer Creek Getaway for years to come !

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade

We love the area and this neighborhood! Its so close to everything we love to do including enjoying the outdoors, wildlife viewing, hiking, off-road driving, shopping and eating out. When we walked in the front door of this cabin it took only a minute to know we wanted it to be ours! It's the perfect size, all one-floor and has a beautiful secluded view of the woods.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

The combination of a wooded view, small creek, fire pit and two fireplaces are just some of the wonderful amenities of this property. The two bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious, the open-concept great room and kitchen are perfect for relaxing and dining. Outside the screened porch with the fireplace is perfect for enjoying a nice meal together or watching the cardinals, hummingbirds, deer, and wild turkeys that visit on a regular basis! Another great feature is that this house is secluded and quiet yet an easy drive just off the Appalachian Highway. The property is off of a paved road and with only a short drive on a gravel road to our paved road.
