Your stay in the villa: You will be welcome in Slatine by our host who can be reached in case of any problem related to the house during your stay. He will give you all informations concerning restaurants, sea activities (yachts, speed and sailing boats renting, deep water diving lessons, fishing by night by professional fishermen, scuba diving...), excursions, cultural and recreational visits.

What would be the best period to stay in this villa?

If you don't appreciate hot weather and you prefer to visit Dalmatia with its reach cultural heritage, or like to do some hiking in the nearby mountains with spectacular view, the best time is the spring and the fall. If you want to enjoy warm and clear sea, the best time is the summer. If you are looking for isolation in the house open to the sea, the ambiance and reduced price of winter's period will not disappoint you.

Great first trip to Croatia

We stayed at this property in June. There were six of us (mom, dad, four teenagers). We had a wonderful time. The house and property is beautiful. Right on the water. Direct access out the back door. The whole house felt new and clean. It was wonderful having so many bathrooms. The beds were comfy. The back patio was beautiful. The kitchen and family room are a bit small. The six of us didn’t have room on the couch to relax together but we used the kitchen and outdoor tables. The water entrance is not a beach. It is rocky so you need water shoes which we bought at a nearby beach shop. The water was clear and calm most days. The temperature was refreshing. The house is located a down a steep driveway that we chose never to walk; so everywhere we went was by car. It was a little tricky to find at first, but no problems after that. There are shops and restaurants within minutes of the house. Great options for both. We loved Dida Moj the best for dinner. We went into Trogir a lot for the market and dinner a couple times. Split is about 45 minutes away by car and we only went once. But the Split marina is beautiful. The house provided two SUPs and a double kayak. We used them a lot. The kitchen had micro, toaster, espresso machine, kettle, fridge, freezer, etc. There was no dryer; only washing machine so we line dried our clothes. We would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

A real gem of a villa with great views across the inlet. Top spot!

Nothing really to fault. The property is beautifully designed and well thought out. The owners and manager are welcoming and helpful, and the view is great. This really is a special spot.

Sehr schönes Haus. Sehr gute Lage!

Ivanka hat auf unsere Anfragen immer umgehend geantwortet. Kleinere Probleme wurden raschmöglichst gelöst. Zwar hatte das Haus keinen Privatstrand (Strände sind in Kroatien öffentlich zugängig), aber der Steg vor dem Haus war so gut wie privat und wurde nur von uns benutzt. Die anderen "öffentlichen" Strände auf der Insel sind sehr voll, daher haben wir unser Domizil um so mehr genossen! Einmal war das Meer vor dem Haus starkt verschmutzt, aber das lag natürlich nicht am Vermieter. Wir würden sehr gerne wieder einmal kommen!

Lovely Villa and Setting

This Villa is set a stones throw from the sea with its own jetty. You can swim and kayak as much as you want (easy launch from the slipway 10m off to the left). The property itself is well equipped and finished to a very high standard, the design and architecture are unique. Its hard not to spend too much time admiring the view from the large veranda, but there are some great local fish restaurants that need exploring. As others have mentioned Aljosa is very welcoming and his boat tour is a great day out and can be tailored to your preferences. Recommended :-)

Ein sehr schönes, gepflegtes, gut ausgestattetes Haus. Nur den angegebenen Whirlpool gibt es nicht. Dafür eine Badewanne mit herrlicher Aussicht.

Great villa at a beautiful spot

Our family stayed in the vilaa for one week. We were very impressed by the design and location of the villa. Beforehand i was a little bit anxious if it wasn’t too far removed from everything but gladly i got it wrong. We enjoyed the remoteness of the villa and could really relax there with everything nearby.

Very nice layout and location!

The house is private and well appointed, while still being close to everything even the airport. We stayed with another family and there was plenty of room for everyone. Slatine is so close to Trogir and the ferry made it fun and easy to get back and forth to Split. Aljoša can take you to some lovely swimming spots or to a remote village where you can grab lunch. Fantastic stay.

Fantastic villa in great location

We had a very relaxing week staying at Ivanka's villa. We were a group of 2 families and had plenty of space, all facilities were perfect and to a very high spec. We enjoyed the fact that slatine is a very close walk, either along the main road, or via the costal path and that slatine was very relaxed and had very little tourism. Plenty of restaurants and supermarkets but very much a local residents village. We hired a mother boat for a few days and would recommend this to get around the islands - avoid Trogir by road! Uber now do river taxis from trogir so go with this option if you don't have your own boat. All in all, a very relaxing week and would highly recommend.

Outstanding Property, Relaxing (Prekrasno)

Listing is as described, photos are accurate. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Owner's response is quick and customer service is excellent. Property representative (Aljoša) greeted us and was very helpful and courteous. Recommend his boating excursion services. We booked him and visited islands and swimming off boat, fantastic! The waterfront property gave us complete solitude, peace and quiet. We used the outdoor BBQ grill often and loved this. Lawn and beach furniture was plentiful and good quality. Beautiful grounds. The house is roomy and perfect for our use. Comfortable large beds. The 2 fridges were handy as we used second fridge for all drinks. We liked having a kayak to use and it comfortably fit 2 adults and a teenager. The views from main terrace and upper balcony were superb. There were books and videos, it was great to find the Croatia travel book by "Steeves". There is a well-organized binder with instructions for all equipment. WIFI was excellent all the time. Private parking can accommodate 2 vehicles and was so nice to know we have our own parking, so that we can come and go as we please. The drive from Trogir is nice and easy, but Trogir gets traffic congested and you could wait a while to get through. We loved staying here (so much) and did not want to leave to our next destination. The privacy, peace and beauty is worth it and we will definitely return. Thank you Ivanka. Puno hvala!

Wunderschönes Haus

Ein perfektes, modernes Haus mit direkten Zugang zum Meer. Privater Liegebereich am wunderschönen klaren Wasser. Der Garten bietet viele Rückzugsmöglichkeiten durch die Größe. Sonnenliegen, Hängematten alles was das Herz begehrt. Schöner Grillplatz und die offene Küche laden zum "Freunde - Kochen" ein ! Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Kontakt und Hilfestellung (Wegbeschreibung zum Objekt, Sehenswürdigkeiten, Lokalempfehlung) einfach vorbildlich aber nicht aufdringlich.

Great and peaceful place to relax

We really enjoyed the time at the villa! It is impressive, both in terms of the architecture and in-design and the surroundings are simply perfect – completely quiet and intimate while still within a short distance to civilization. Our kids loved the time here, kayak, patio, the jetty and the nearest beaches. And Aljosa was also great and very helpful at the intro day! I am pretty sure the villa would be on the top of our list of favorite destinations in Croatia and recommendations to our friends. And I hope we would be back here next year! Ivanka, many thanks! Great villa on a perfect spot

We rented this house for 1 week in order to celebrate our fathers´ 75th birthday properly and before going on a 1 week sailing trip. Ivanka, thank you so much for your warm welcome and support in planning our stay! We had a perfect holiday in our 3 generations travelling group ;-) 5 adults (45-78yrs), 2 kids (6-10yrs) The house is perfectly equipped, we rented a small motor boat - just ask Ivanka ;-) - (with sunroof as on the picture) and so we could get away from any traffic jam... Which means fresh bread or fresh fruit, fish etc. from the market in Trogir in the morning - just perfect!! Or we went on small boat trips around the island, just lovely. Also the nearby restaurants that were recommended are excellent, one is even in walking distance (10 min. to the left.) The place and the house are amazing!! Thanks again, Ivanka!

Very nice relaxing holiday in a beautiful villa

We spend our holidays with 8 people in the villa. It was enough space for all people in the house and also on the terrace. The overview from the gallery and terrace is like shown on the picture. The equipment from the house was almost perfect. The cleaning from the villa was also good. The two ladies keep it very clean. Sometimes we walk in the evening for dinner to Slatine. There is a small harbour with nice restaurants and bars. We could spend many relaxing days in this aria. Ivanka, thanks for your nice support and great hospitality.

Wonderful stay in Croatie

First, before our arrival, Ivanka always answered very quickly and efficiently to all the questions I had. Then. the house was very clean when we arrived and the 2 persons who welcomed us at the arrival were very nice.. The house is very well furnished and conceived and above all, we have a wonderful view on the sea from the living room and from the parents' room. The other rooms have all a nice view on the trees. There is a very nice terrace where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner very well protected from the sun. In the evening we used the big barbecue which is in the garden. Then when we had to leave the house, we could do it at the requested time and it was very early as we had a ferry to take at Split. The only disadvantage of the place (that is absolutely not linked to the house) is that there is really lots of traffic in Trogir in august, even at 7.30 in the morning or at 5 p.m. We are used to rent houses during the holidays (Tuscany, Sicily, Cyprus, Morocco ..) and no doubt, this is the most beautiful one we had

This Villa is top notch!!!

We stayed in this beautiful house with 7 adults and 2 kids and I must say we had an awesome time. We are a mixed group with two parties from Germany and one party from Florida. The house has a very interesting design (like a giant triangle floor plan). The floor plan with the 4 bedrooms worked perfect for us. All rooms are designed with high end furnishings. Many pieces are design classics. We found this place on Home Away.com and were sold by the pictures. When we arrived,we found it to be as displayed in the pictures. The location is also great. Not far from town, direct on the water with private dock. The kids and grand parents went snorkeling in the morning and the parents slept in. It was truly relaxing. We also used the outdoor grill and the patio a lot. You can buy fish from the market in town and cook a super nice meal right next to the water. Oh yes and the garden had some herbs. Everything worked in the apartment. It was very clean, super friendly staff, payment was smooth, deposit was returned upon departure.... Without doubt I would come back to this place. Arne

Wonderful family vacation

We, a family with 3 children, spent our summer holidays in this villa. We "collect" good places to take our vacation in several countries. This is one of the best! The house is just like the Photos and the descrption show it (no street between the garden and the waterfront). There´s enough place for everybody, you can go swimming in the clear and warm water whenever you want (it´s only a stone´s throw from the house) and the neighbourhood is calm (just on saturday there are many planes to and from the airport of Split). We enjoyed the large terrace and the view over the sea. Even when the wheather is not so good (short thunderstorms are normal in this region) there´s enough space inside the house for the whole family. If you have got good shoes, you can make nice trips on the island, if you have a car you can visit the sights of the region. Split (wonderful!) is reachable by boat from slatine port. Two very nice ladies are managing the villa, they keep it clean and tidy. The only reason not to recommend this house to friends is that they may occupy it just when we want to stay there (but we would be glad to invite them to join us). We reserved the villa for our next summer holidays. Usefull things to have with you: One or two good knifes (for those who like to cook), a hammock and a Sonos equipment.

The house is so beautiful, so amazing and stylish - pictures cannot tell. Pure relaxing, directly at the sea. Slatine and Trogir are onlya few kilometers away. Even Split is easy to reach by boat. Thanks Ivanka for the great hospitality and your support!

a memorable place for an unforgettable holiday

We are two Italian families with 4 children (6 and 9 years), last year we spent our summer holidays in this wonderful villa. Everything was perfect: The new and "full optional" home, perfect for our children too, kindness and hospitality of the owners, the local service, the sea in front of the house. The cleaning service was very helpful and accurate. We found everything we expected and we found even more. We will not forget breakfast and dinner on the terrace overlooking the sea, sunrise, sunset, sunbathing on the pier, snorkeling and diving with children from the rocks. A memorable place for an unforgettable holiday

The BEST vacation EVER!

There is just no better way to say it than this, our stay at Villa Slatine was the best vacation of our life! We were excited about the house by the photos but honestly they don't do it justice, it is beyond breathtaking. Our local contact was super nice and helpful in getting us settled in and explaining the lay of the land. He also took us out on his boat later in the week on a day excursion to a beautiful island. So much fun. The house proximity to the water and the beach are a real plus and the kitchen and grill were perfect for my chef husband. The daily market in Trogir was idilic and between that and the supermarket in Trogir we ate like kings. It was the perfect house to stay with a large group because of the large open space of the indoors and out you are not right on top of each other. We stayed there with 3 small children which was perfect but the stair case and drop off of the main deck could be a bit dangerous if you don't have some very vigilant adults to watch the kids. We thought this location was an ideal introduction to Croatia. The trip from the Airport was a breeze and the location of the house makes it really easy to get into Trogir and Split by car or Ferry. The owners were really easy to deal with and very nice. We absolutely plan on going back, as many times a possible!

An excellent opportunity to rent a boat with this villa without a hassle ) :
* Renter must possess and present a valid boating permit together with an acceptable form of photo ID (national ID card, passport or driver's license).
* Multi day rentals span from 09.00 on the first day until 18:00 on the last day of the rental period. daily rental span from 09:00 - 18:00.
* Boat may be chartered bareboat or with a qualified skipper. Skipper service is not included in the price of the rental.
* The rental fee does not include fuel expenses. the vessel is provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned accordingly.
* In addition to the rental fee, a security deposit is required, depending on the length of leasing time (for a week is 1000 €). This deposit will be return at the expiry of the lease contingent upon the vessel being returned as received, with its associated equipment intact - in the same condition that it was found at the beginning of the rental period.
* This boat is full kasko insured. Passengers are insured up to the maximum number of permitted passengers allowed on this boat.
