Lakefront Oceanside Village: 2 Golf Carts, Pools, Private Beach Parking
Welcome to your lakefront retreat in Oceanside Village in Surfside Beach. This ground-level 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath space sleeps up to 6 and is easy to access with no stairs. Your stay includes two golf carts, all linens and towels, and a full beach setup, so you can travel light and spend more time on “beach time.”
IMPORTANT TO KNOW (PLEASE READ)
This is the private lower level of my home with a separate private downstairs entrance just for guests. I live upstairs full time. You’ll have your own space and privacy, but you may occasionally hear normal household sounds (footsteps, etc.).
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE
• Lakefront setting with a lighted fountain and wildlife views from the porch and patio
• Two golf carts included, so you can be at the private beach access in minutes
• Ground-floor unit with no steps, convenient for all ages
• Pet friendly (see Pet Policy below)
• Resort-style community amenities: indoor and outdoor pools, hot tub, splash area, playground, dog park, sports courts and fitness center
• Private community beach parking and access to the Conch Café
• Weekly pass to nearby state parks for extra beaches, hiking, fishing and biking
THE SPACE
The lower level is yours during your stay and sleeps six comfortably:
• Bedroom 1: Queen bed and walk-in closet
• Bedroom 2: Two twin beds and walk-in closet
• Living area: Overstuffed sleeper sofa (full/queen)
There is one full bathroom with a walk-in shower and one half bath.
KITCHEN & DINING
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare a home-cooked meal. You’ll find full-size appliances, including a refrigerator with icemaker, stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher, plus cookware, dishes and utensils.
The dining area has a large table with seating for six, perfect for family meals or game nights.
PORCH, PATIO & LAKEFRONT
Relax in the glass-enclosed porch with your favorite drink. Turn on the AC or open the windows to enjoy the sounds of the fountain and the breeze from the lake.
Outside on the patio, enjoy morning coffee while you watch swans, ducks and turtles on the water, then unwind in the evening as the fountain lights up after a day at the beach.
OUTDOOR KITCHEN
Skip heating up the house and cook outside on the patio. The outdoor kitchen includes a grill, smoker, stovetop, pizza oven, built-in cooler and sink, so you can cook everything from burgers to pizzas without ever leaving the view.
GOLF CARTS INCLUDED
No need to rent golf carts separately. We include two with your stay, which saves you a significant rental cost. You can have your feet in the sand in just a few minutes (about a 3-minute golf cart ride).
Golf cart rules:
• Drivers must be at least 18 years old
• A valid driver’s license is required for all drivers
• Please follow Oceanside Village rules and posted speed limits

• Bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths
• Dish cloths and dish towels
For the beach you’ll find:

OCEANSIDE VILLAGE AMENITIES
Your stay includes access to everything Oceanside Village has to offer:
• Indoor pool
• Outdoor pool and children’s splash area

• Fishing areas
• Fitness center
• Private entrance and parking for the beach and the Conch Café restaurant
STATE PARK PASS
For extra fun beyond the community, we supply a pass that lets you enter nearby state parks during your stay. Two of them are just a few miles away. Enjoy additional beaches, hiking, fishing, biking and exploring.
PET POLICY
We welcome well-behaved dogs for an additional $150 pet fee. We provide dog beds, toys, food and water bowls, dog waste bags and a tie-out on the patio. There is also a bin for the back of the golf cart so your dog can ride safely to the dog park, beach or around the neighborhood.
Please keep dogs off beds and furniture and do not leave them unattended unless crated. Guests are responsible for promptly cleaning up after their dog.
HOUSE RULES
• No smoking or vaping inside the house. You may smoke outside on the patio and we provide ashtrays.
• No parties and no fireworks on the property.
• Please respect community rules, quiet hours and posted guidelines.
ACCESSIBILITY
This unit has no stairs or steps and is easily accessible, which makes it a comfortable choice for guests of all ages.
DAMAGE PROTECTION
Instead of a traditional damage deposit, we require a non-refundable damage protection policy of $119. This covers up to $5,000 in accidental damage.
SEA TURTLE SEASON
Sea turtle season runs from May through mid-August. If you are lucky, you may see a turtle nesting on the beach. It is an incredible sight. Please remember to watch from a distance, keep dogs away and avoid shining flashlights directly on them. We love our local wildlife and want to help protect them for the future.
LONGER STAYS & PRICING
We prefer monthly rentals from January through May. Please message us through Vrbo for rates and availability and you'll be alwaysonbeachtime at g mail.
Discounted rates from September through December may be available as well. We’re happy to work with you on longer stays.
