The Lakefront Lodge near CHQ Institution

Enjoy this large lakefront 5 bedroom/5 bath cabin with views of Chautauqua lake from the two-story living room and bonus loft with a sleeper sofa. The cabin has been renovated with family gatherings in mind from the oversized lush seating to the new stainless steel appliances in our open kitchen. The upstairs three large bedrooms with comfy beds and luxury bed linens. There is a massive mud room/laundry room that is the perfect place to store all your outdoor toys.

The ground level of the house which is accessed from the living room has a bunk-room great for the kids that can sleep up to 6 in two full-size beds and a trundle bed. They will feel like they are at summer camp! There is also a large comfy King bedroom. Plus two more bathrooms, TV lounge and another living room along with another kitchen. This space is perfect for two families want to vacation together but have a separation of space or just a large group wanting plenty of space to spread out in the 5000 sq ft log cabin.

We want the home to be your all year sanctuary, not just your “lakehouse”, pull up your boat and jet skis holiday. We have 100 ft of lake front with a 150ft of dock. The property has ample room for snowmobiler’s trucks and trailers. It’s also the perfect, golf, fishing, or couples wine trial weekend. With most of our neighbors being summer season occupants, the cabin is the perfect secluded retreat off season.

Our location on the lake is amazing because we are 3 mins to the the Village of Mayville for the supermarket, restaurants, concerts on the lake, and all the fun festivals for all the seasons. We are also 3 minutes in the other direction to CHQ Institution. Westfield is 12 mins past Mayville and Lakewood, NY is 20 mins past the Institution. We are 10 mins off of I-86 and 15 mins from I-90.

Cycling friends weekend

The lodge is fantastic! Beautiful location overlooking the lake, spacious, and very well-equipped with everything you need. Our large group had plenty of room to spread out and to gather together for meals and visiting. Would highly recommend staying here.

Golden Girls Get Away

We were a group of 4 senior ladies in need of a calming getaway. The house was absolutely beautiful we could not have picked a better place! Views are beautiful, anything you could possibly need was provided and then some! We will for sure return!

Perfect ladies retreat

Perfect Place for Getaway with Kids and Grandkids

Beautifully decorated, wonderfully appointed, the Lakefront Lodge was the perfect place to gather the family to behold the Solar Eclipse! Plenty of space for all 13 of us without feeling crowded. Great views of the lake. Loved the spacious-equipped and spacious kitchens, and only needed two of the three refrigerators. Everyone in our group agrees that this was the best VRBO we ever stayed at.

Amazing Girls trip

This house was the nicest and best set up house we have ever stayed at. Our annual family girls trip was a blast. We all had our own very comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms all in a well decorated and beautiful setting house. We will be back over and over again!

A girls weekend dream house!

This is our 2nd time staying at this house and we were so glad we came back. This house has so much space, comfortable rooms, and beautiful lake views. You feel like someone is personally welcoming you to their home not just a rental property. The kitchen is not only stocked with basic needs but everything you could imagine and really nice quality items. It made cooking for our large group so easy! We will absolutely be back, the area and house is worth a stay any season!

Gorgeous Property!

The pictures do not do this property justice. The whole house was beautifully decorated. Perfect layout when traveling with multiple families. The house provided plenty of room, gorgeous views, and wonderful ammenties. The location was close to everything we needed. We will definitely be back.

Excellent stay at lodge on the Lake!

This property is absolutely beautiful! The home is is spacious, well decorated and supplied with everything you need. We were a party of eight adults, some of us retired. We docked our pontoon easily at their dock. We enjoyed a couple of campfires relaxing in their Adirondack chairs. The property manager was easily accessible. Our stay was excellent! I honestly cannot say enough good things about it.

Stunning Lakefront Retreat

We loved our weekend at this beautiful cabin! The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were super comfortable, and the communal spaces were thoughtful and inviting. The interior design gives the place an upscale lake house vibe we liked. The views of Lake Chautauqua were a highlight for us - especially the sunrises. We stayed in April, but had it been a bit warmer, we definitely would have taken advantage of the deck, big yard, and lake access! Overall, we really enjoyed this slice of heaven on the lake, and we definitely plan to return!

Exceeded All Expectations

This is one of those rare instances where the photos don’t do the property justice. Keep in mind; the photos are beautiful. 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, two kitchens, three large living spaces…and a loft. The Lakefront Lodge is without question the best place I (or any member of my family) has ever stayed. Stunning. You first realized this as you pull into the driveway. The exterior is gorgeous with a view of the lake behind it. You open the front door, and it doesn’t take long to see the main floor has everything. It includes three bedrooms, three baths, a spacious living room, intimate loft, mudroom/utility room, kitchen and dining room. Clean, upgraded, and state of the art. This place is a show piece. The views of Lake Chautauqua are as good as it gets. …And then there is the walkout basement. …which includes two bedrooms with 3 beds and a daybed, two baths, a large extra kitchen, and two massive sitting areas. It out classes most rental properties on its own. Overall, everything is new or recently updated. The kitchens have every amenity you could possibly think of. We had no problem preparing meals, and there were more than enough cooking utensils, plates etc. for all. This property is full of all the “the little things” that make it a home. Games for the kids. Interesting coffee table books. State of the art TV’s. A fully stocked K Cup Maker and Espresso maker. The bathrooms are stocked with towels of every size…and plenty of them. Have you ever been someplace that you wish had more hangers? Not here. I enjoyed walking down the long back yard to sit on the private dock for some quite time each morning. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the powered gazebo, or the fire pit, but plan on doing so on the next trip. All this said, it gets even better. You will not find a better host than Michelle Jungquist. She was so accommodating and helpful when it came to every question I had. She made me feel welcome and treated me as though she’s known me for years. She made the experience even more special than I could have imagined. I am so grateful for her hospitality. Well, I think it goes without saying that I am a huge fan of this enchanting home. It gave my wife and I a chance to spend some quality time with all three of our children and their significant others in a one-of-a-kind environment. I hope to make this a tradition for years to come.

Beauty on the lake

What a FABULOUS Place!

Me and three of my friends had the best time here. So roomy, clean, comfortable. Just perfect! Gorgeous view of the lake from almost anywhere in the house. Comfortable beds, cozy furniture. A well stocked kitchen to cook in. Michelle was so helpful with ANY questions we had. Such a wonderful place to stay. I very highly recommend!

The Lodge

We loved staying at this serene property on the lake. The house is simply in one word, Gorgeous! It was a much needed retreat for our little family gathering. The house is so conveniently located between The Village of Mayville, CHQ Institution, and Lakewood we had everything at our finger tips. The weather turned cold so we didn’t get to do the outdoor water activities (kayaks, jet skis, paddle boat, yerf dog and dirt bike), but the house was perfect for us to hang out inside, cook our meals in a wonderfully stocked kitchen with a Coffee bar, which has a Keurig, a Nespresso maker, and an old fashion drip pot coffee maker. Our host made sure to think of everything incase we had forgotten something…even as small as cotton buds! Really liked the furniture and the decorations. If you love waking up to insane sunrises from your bedroom window this is your place to stay, we will be back!
