Beautiful Cabin in the woods Allegany County NY

Located in the beautiful southerntier town of Belmont, NY. Close to Wellsville NY for the Trout Derby, Angelica NY for some some antiquing, about 20 minutes from the Tall Pines four wheeling park, and surround by many state lands for hunting. Perfect for a romantic get away, or just a weekend away. Cabin is stocked with a mini fridge, pots, pans, dishes, gas grill, air fryer and dish tv. Available May through mid October. Nice bonfire pit with wood available also. THERE IS NO WI-FI AVAILABLE. It has not yet come to our road.

Great vibes; our third stay

We always enjoy staying at Colleen's cabin and are grateful that she opens it for guests! It's a well-done hunting cabin that has a lot more comforts than others in the area. Loved the new appliances and spending mornings and nights on the deck. We bring a wifi hotspot from Simple Mobile and are able to get internet while we're there.

Beautiful, getaway

We stayed for 3 days and enjoyed everyday at the cabin rental its quiet, beautiful and relaxing it's everything you could ask for to enjoy some self time. The cabin is very comfortable.and beautiful inside. The woods around the cabin is quiet with wildlife running around this was everything we were looking for and we will definitely book again.Tim and Coleen are super any information we need they were very helpful with they are great owners and very nice to deal with. We definitely Thank them for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods

So named because it was just that. I found the cabin to be tastefully decorated, smelled so nice, very clean, peaceful, perfect for my intended fishing vacation, It was well equipped for all my needs. Shopping was close by for anything I may have forgotten.

AWESOME LITTLE CABIN

This was our second stay at this AWESOME LITTLE CABIN. It is an absolute gem. Charmingly decorated, cozy, and very private. The addition of a full-sized refrigerator was a real bonus too especially since we like to prepare most of our own meals. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants some quiet time away!

Get away

The stay was good for the price. Inside was good we were very comfortable. Don’t expect Hotel standards because you’re not paying &160.00 the outside deck was where we spent most of time and it was awesome

Weekend getaway

This property was truly amazing for a weekend getaway. It got cold during the night though. It was truly what we needed to rest and refresh. The property is absolutely beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely be back soon.

Perfect out of town place to relax

The cabin was great! A little confusion at the outset getting power (we had to turn on main breaker). Nice quiet place to come home to after doing some contractor work in Alfred. The only thing that would make it better is Wifi to be able to get some work done remotely but not a big deal. Hopefully will be able to stay again each year of the work contract.

Nice little cabin.

We try to come to the area every year to hunt with with friends. This was a great place for us to stay. Nice location, easy to get to. We'll definitely stay here again.

Great cabin, great location

My friends and I were on an early season bow hunting trip, the cabins proximity to numerous state lands was ideal. The cabin was clean and had enough kitchen supplies to makes the stay easy. Thanks Colleen.

Relaxing honeymoon

The property was relaxing and nice. Felt very homey and well lit. Coleen responds very fast with questions! I would highly recommend staying here.

Very nice stay

The cabin was super cute and cleaner than I had expected given it’s remote location. Colleen was very kind, understanding and responsive to all my questions. The cabin had a bunch of stuff for use in the kitchen as well. We didn’t use any but it was nice to have the option to cook if we were going to stay for longer. The only reasons I’m not giving a full five stars are 1. The bed was super noisy and uncomfortable. Although there were plenty of pillows 2. It’s hard to find in the dark with the sign. A light or some reflectors would be super helpful.

Nice little spot

This was a nice cozy cabin in the southern tier. No serious complaints. There wasn't shampoo for the shower. Private, great view of the woods.

This was a very nice and quiet getaway in the woods of Western New York. We enjoyed our stay here immensely and would love to come back again. The hosts helped us get in the cabin when we managed to lock ourselves out. The only thing I would recommend to the hosts is a somewhat larger refrigerator because chasing down ice all the time and trying to keep food truly cold is hard in an ice chest. Maybe put an apartment size or simply a small but not hotel size refrigerator in the cubby near the one you have. Perhaps most people do not stay very long and do not need more cold space but we stayed a week and almost always prepare our own food due to diet restrictions. Other then that the recliner was very comfortable and the gas fireplace is very nice on cold mornings and the turkey and deer roaming the area are fun to watch.

If you listen carefully, you will still hear nothing

What a peaceful cabin, and Colleen was not kidding about those stars, they are so beautiful! If you return home to the cabin at night you will see the brief outline of many deer in the field towards the road before they run off a second later. The little squirrels were entertaining as they threw hickory nuts down from the trees to pick up later and store for winter. The tv service was great, as well. There are neighbors nearby but not close enough to disturb you. Enjoy your stay, I know that I did, and I loved that it was more affordable than some, as well!

Peaceful and wooded

The cabin is in a wooded area, with cleared space for parking and a fire pit. It has most of the comforts of home, but with a rustic feel to it. our outside living space is an elevated round table at one end on the back deck. Inside is a main room with a full kitchen (be warned, the fridge is very small) microwave, stove and oven, plus a toaster and a toaster oven.You have to wash your dishes in the sink. They have Dish Network TV. We mostly used the gas grill out back. Bring your own drinking glasses. They only had coffee mugs (there is a coffee maker there) and wine glasses. There is a full bathroom and shower right off of the bedroom.All linens are provided. The nearest store is Dollar General, about a mile or two down the road. Wellsville has a Tops and a Save a Lot. For the price, it's a cozy place.

Another great stay!

This was our second time staying and it was great. The location is so lovely and the deck is perfect to watch wildlife. Not far from state parks and some nice trails nearby, this cabin is perfect for enjoying the region and recharging. We again used our moxee hotspot for Wi-Fi during our stay and were able to work remotely from the cabin. So glad the owners are willing not share their beautiful property!
